Key responsibilities of the Senior Fundraising Manager?
Strategic Leadership & Income Generation
- Follow the fundraising strategy, developing and executing annual plans to achieve revenue targets and diversify income streams.
- Oversee the growth of Individual Giving, Regular Giving, and In Memory Giving, and Community Fundraising initiatives.
- Design and implement targeted fundraising campaigns, leveraging insights and KPIs to maximise donor engagement and income.
- Promote fundraising opportunities across community networks, digital channels, individual giving portals, and public platforms.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and inspire a team of fundraising professionals, ensuring objectives, 1:1s, and appraisals are delivered in line with HR policy.
- Develop clear annual training, time management, and support plans for staff and volunteers.
- Provide day-to-day leadership to ensure high performance, accountability, and a collaborative working culture.
3. Volunteer Programme Oversight
- Oversee the ongoing development of the Hospice volunteer programme alongside the Volunteer Executive, ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.
- Work directly with clinical teams to align volunteer support with operational needs, guaranteeing smooth running of hospice activities.
- Ensure all volunteers receive regular feedback and adhere to health and safety requirements.
- Maintain and develop the programme in line with Investing in Volunteers standards.
4. Donor Relations & Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate, steward, and strengthen long-term relationships with key donors, sponsors, community partners, and supporters.
- Support the delivery of fundraising events such as community fairs, and photography competitions, attracting large public support. Support the team during gala dinners and garden parties. Oversee the Events Executive in all areas of their role.
- Enhance the Hospice’s visibility and supporter engagement through partnership building and community presence.
5. Data, Finance & Compliance
- Ensure all donor and volunteer records are held and maintained under GDPR and internal data protection regulations.

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for implementing the charity’s fundraising strategy to increase our fundraised income to support all areas of our activity. The Policy and Campaigns Manager leads ADUK in championing reforms that pave the way for better access for all disabled people partnered with a highly trained assistance dog. Through dynamic campaigns and impactful initiatives, this role is pivotal to how ADUK amplifies the voices of those whose lives are transformed by these life changing dogs, ensuring that their rights are protected for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
- In partnership with the Executive Director (ED), continue to develop a compelling case for taking a standards-based approach to the training and welfare of assistance dogs.
- Gather, analyse and apply robust evidence to strengthen ADUK’s credibility, influence and voice on key policy and campaigning issues.
- Work with the ED to identify and progress opportunities for ADUK and its members to engage with policymakers, regulators and other decision-makers, and to support positive policy change.
- Develop and deliver written and in-person reports and briefings for different audiences, including politicians, policy officials, and other decision-makers.
- Collaborate with the ED and Head of Education and Allyship to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
- Lead, manage and convene the ADUK Advisory Panel, ensuring it operates effectively and informs ADUK’s policy and campaigning work.
- Monitor legislation and policy developments relevant to assistance dogs and dog welfare and communicate these as appropriate to members.
- Support the ED with the delivery of ADUK’s policy function, including the preparation of policy statements, briefing papers, media responses, and submissions to consultations and inquiries.
- Provide informed policy advice to the ED on priority issues affecting ADUK and its members.
- Represent ADUK externally, articulating its policy positions at meetings, events and forums, where appropriate.
- Take responsibility for projects, with the support of the Executive Director where appropriate, including joint work with partner organisations.

Working closely with the Nova Support Team (NST), the Advisor provides initial advice, guidance, and assistance to Veterans who are at risk of contact with the Justice System or are involved in the Justice System.
Some of your principal responsibilities will include receiving and triaging referrals for veterans who are at risk of, or involved in, the justice system, making timely first contact and completing initial registrations, and providing accurate advice and guidance while maintaining detailed records on the case management system.
As a NST Client Advisor, you will need experience in guiding and supporting individuals, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders while remaining highly organised and IT confident.
Ideally, you will also have an understanding of the justice system, experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems and a resilient and adaptable approach.

In this pivotal role, you’ll bring communities, healthcare partners and local insight together to dismantle barriers, build trust, and shape a model that could change outcomes across the UK.
What the job involves
As the Project Manager, you’ll lead an innovative pilot designed to tackle late diagnosis of prostate cancer in Black men. Day to day, you’ll shape and deliver a regional model that breaks down systemic barriers to early diagnosis - from coordinating the unification of efforts to address drivers of inequity in prostate cancer to establishing a new bridging fund to support cross-sector partnerships. You’ll work closely with community organisations, Primary Care Networks and NHS stakeholders, bringing people together to build trust and drive practical, measurable improvements.
What we want from you
You’ll be someone who cares deeply about health equity and is motivated by making real change happen for Black men in prostate cancer. We’re looking for someone who has experience designing or delivering community‑based health projects and feels confident working across sectors to build strong, equitable partnerships. You’ll bring strategic thinking, the ability to turn insight into action, and the communication skills to engage, influence and inspire. You’ll be comfortable managing timelines, budgets and reporting impact, and you’ll bring a strong understanding of public health, health equity or programme management. Most importantly, you’ll champion inclusion, cultural sensitivity and our values in everything you do.
As this role is supporting our work in the West Midlands, candidates must live within, or no more than 30 minutes from, one of the following NHS Health Trust areas: Herefordshire and Worcestershire, Black Country, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham and Solihull, or Coventry and Warwickshire.

How and where we work
Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.
Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

We are working in partnership with the British Motor Museum, home to the largest collection of historic British cars and motor industry archive in the world, to secure their new Head of Marketing and Communications.
The Museum is accredited by Arts Council England (ACE) and a National Portfolio Organisation. It holds Designated status recognising the national and international significance of the collections, totalling over 450 vehicles, spanning 135 years of the modern, classic, vintage and veteran eras, as well as an extensive archive.
This exciting new role is at the heart of redefining how the British Motor Museum communicates its purpose, impact and ambitions and the Head of Marketing and Communications will lead a proactive and future-focused marketing and communications strategy that amplifies Museum’s brand, engages new audiences, and supports commercial development, but also gives a clear and compelling voice to their charitable mission.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work closely with the CEO to influence and deliver the Museum’s long term strategy. This is a rare opportunity to introduce new ways of thinking, refresh established approaches and bring creative, high-impact ideas to life and is suited to a marketing and communications specialist with an agile approach, able to deliver at strategic and operational level.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience leading and managing multi channel marketing and communications across digital, social, print and experiential platforms, preferably gained within a visitor attraction, or visitor led environments such as hospitality, leisure or a visitor-lead charitable organisation.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop teams, fostering a positive, inclusive culture and enabling individuals to perform at their best.
