The South East Gambling Harms Partnership—a strategic collaboration across eight regional Citizens Advice offices (East Berkshire, West Berkshire, Reading, Wokingham and Basingstoke, Rushmore, Tadley and Hart)—has secured dedicated funding through the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID). We are launching a pioneering initiative across Berkshire and North Hampshire to identify, prevent, and reduce the devastating impacts of gambling harms.

We are recruiting for 8 roles to build this brand-new, regional project team. Roles based in Berkshire will be employed by Citizens Advice Wokingham and roles based in North Hampshire will be employed by Citizens Advice Hart :

Prevention Outreach Worker (5 x FTE)

● Salary: £28,392 – £31,000 pro rata

● The Role: The frontline face of the project. You will smash cultural taboos and run early intervention workshops for four high-risk groups: Youth, Ethnic Minorities, Veterans, and Affected Others. (3 covering Berkshire, 2 covering North Hampshire).

About Kinship

We are Kinship. The leading kinship care charity in England and Wales. We’re here for kinship carers – friends or family who step up to raise a child when their parents aren’t able to.

Purpose of the role: 

As a Kinship Family Worker for Kinship Reach, you will deliver this online programme to families in your commissioned area. You will provide virtual one-to-one support to kinship carers and their families to help them become resilient and informed, with a strong support network to help them care for the children in their care.

Key responsibilities:

One-to-one support
Provide up to 6 one-to-one support sessions bespoke to the kinship carers and their families over a three-month intervention, working within the Kinship Reach delivery model. This may include, but is not limited to:

• Signposting or referring to relevant national and local services.
• Providing practical and emotional support to kinship carers.
• Liaising with other professionals and organisations.
• Making referrals to other Kinship services such as Advice, Someone Like Me, Peer-to-Peer.
• Providing support for carers to secure grants from local and national funders.
• Set goals for change following Kinship Reach processes, in partnership with the kinship carer.
• Monitor, review and revise these goals to ensure carers are on track and goals remain relevant.

Peer group facilitation and management

Kinship delivers virtual peer support groups which carers from Kinship’s programmes can access, coordinated by Senior Kinship Family Worker(s). This role could include:

• Developing existing groups and setting up new groups as required.
• Working closely with Kinship’s peer-to-peer service where appropriate.
• Collaborating with kinship carers, the local authority, and community partners to set up virtual and in-person peer support groups.
• Planning, preparing, facilitating virtual and in-person peer support groups.
• Promoting groups in the area you are delivering in to kinship carers and organisations who work with them, including contributing to the creation of promotional materials.

Participation

• Recruit kinship carers as volunteers to lead and support the development of virtual peer support groups.
• Work proactively to enable kinship carers to influence the design and delivery of the peer support groups delivered in their area (such as topics, time / date).
• Support Kinship’s communications and engagement strategy, such as helping to provide case studies and sourcing images for newsletters and local media to promote the programme and recruit participants.

Safeguarding and risk management

Kinship has a robust safeguarding structure. You will be supported by a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Designated Deputy Safeguarding Leads (DDSL).

• Recognise and respond appropriately to signs of abuse or neglect, following national legislation and procedures and Kinship’s own safeguarding procedures.
• Liaise with your line manager and safeguarding lead regarding safeguarding concerns, following Kinship’s policies and processes.
• Provide reports and information for managers about cases of concern.
• Ensure you are aware of and follow safeguarding policies and procedures risk of harm protocol.
• Complete risk assessments for events or groups with families in line with Kinship’s policies and processes to be signed off by a DSL or DDSL.
• Follow Kinship’s health and safety policies to keep yourself and your clients safe, such as Lone Working Policy, Home Visit Policy, risk assessment, events.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Record attendance at virtual support groups and ensure this is reported on the Salesforce database.
• Ensure casework, feedback, and other data related to service delivery are regularly and accurately recorded on our Salesforce database in line with Kinship’s policy and best practice.
• Ensure completion of carer registration forms, review forms, and closure forms, taking details that will be used to evidence impact.
• Collect case studies from your kinship carers to help demonstrate impact.
• Contribute to any reports for local authority partners as required in terms of data and case studies as required.
• Attend monitoring meetings as required.
• Engage in quality assurance processes in line with Kinship processes and policies.

Relationship and stakeholder management

• In partnership with the senior Kinship Family Worker, enable local authorities to understand the programme and pathways for how to make referrals.
• Support practitioners' meetings with local authorities to encourage referrals, discuss cases, and ensure local authority confidence in the programme.
• Where applicable, work with local authorities to raise awareness of kinship care and to reach and support kinship carers through the programme.
• Where possible and relevant, represent Kinship at external events and meetings to raise awareness of the programme and to influence other organisations.
• Where applicable, work with local authorities and voluntary and community groups supporting kinship families.

As our Global Senior Mid-Level Giving Manager, you’ll lead the growth and development of Compassion’s global mid-level giving programme, the Circle of Compassion (annual donations over £/$/€1,000). This is a vital role, responsible for driving the strategic direction of the programme, growing income, and strengthening donor engagement and retention.

Purpose of the role:

The Manager of Business (Consultancy) will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery and rigorous quality assurance of a range of business services to clients. Working within a growing, dynamic team, the successful candidate will initially hold oversight of our training and eLearning programmes, with the understanding that this function may be separated from the role as the team expands. They will ensure our range of consultancy and training services are delivered to a consistently high standard, sensitively, with compassion, and with a trauma-informed approach, whilst simultaneously evolving our team frameworks, internal systems, and operational risk controls.

This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of Unseen’s response to worker exploitation, engaging with business clients, developing avenues to increase our range and quality of services, and supporting a growing multi-faceted team to deliver on one of our priority areas. This role demands a flexible approach to deliver in-depth and complex services to businesses, alongside a sharp focus on mitigating operational, data, and reputational risks. It also requires a confident communicator with a keen eye for detail, but with the ability to step back and see the bigger picture. The role requires an individual with a proven track record of managing, coaching, and delegating effectively to a diverse team while protecting workloads and well-being.

The successful candidate will possess experience navigating complex corporate stakeholder environments, confidently engaging with senior leadership, and handling difficult conversations. Competence in synthesising diverse datasets and using CRM tools to transform data into actionable strategy is essential. An understanding of worker exploitation and human rights risk management in complex value chains is desirable.

Effective financial control is central to our strategy and operating model. The finance officer plays an essential role in maintaining control over our finances and operations. You will process and monitor financial transactions, liaise with our payroll bureau regarding staff payroll and pensions and support the Head of finance. You will be experienced in using Dynamics 365 Business Central as an accounting system.

This is a part-time role for two days a week (0.4FTE), with flexibility about when the hours are worked. It's a hybrid role, working from home and from our office. You will report to our Head of finance. You will also work with all staff on financial matters including personal and credit card expenses, central and project income and expenditure, and processing of payroll by liaising with our external bureau.

As Administrator for our Local School Nature Grants programme, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of the project, working closely with the Project Manager and wider team. This role can be based from either our Eastleigh or Stirling office, with home working available. You will be the first point of contact for schools, suppliers and stakeholders, helping to ensure an excellent experience for grant recipients while maintaining accurate records and supporting project delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to phone and email enquiries relating to the project
• Assisting with the management of LSNG mailboxes
• Supporting enquiries from network members and suppliers
• Ordering and managing stock of catalogue items
• Assisting with the processing of purchase orders and invoices
• Booking travel and accommodation for delivery team members
• Assisting with the packaging and posting of grant orders
• Managing correspondence with participating schools
• Maintaining and updating project records
• Assisting with application scoring and providing administrative support to trainers as required

You will need:

• Previous experience providing administrative support, ideally in an office environment
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience planning and managing your own workload
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and the ability to obtain a clear DBS or PVG check

About the position

The Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager - Individual Philanthropy (SSPM) is a key member of the Freedom Fund’s partnerships team, responsible for developing and implementing the organisation’s individual fundraising strategy. Based in New York and reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, the postholder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the U.S. and U.K. to build and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and help shape the broader strategic partnerships strategy.

This is a strategic, high-autonomy role with responsibility for building and managing a global portfolio of individual donors and prospects, guiding them through all stages of the donor lifecycle - from identification and cultivation to solicitation and stewardship. The SSPM will lead the design and execution of a donor experience strategy to enhance engagement, deepen relationships, and increase long-term support. They will design, curate and host donor salons, convenings, and engagement events in New York City and other priority cities, in order to grow our networks and generate new leads. They will also manage and coordinate the strategic involvement of senior leadership - including the CEO, Managing Director of External Relations, and Head of Strategic Partnerships - in high-level donor engagement.
