This role sits at the heart of how Subject Access Requests are managed and how responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR are met. You’ll play a key part in shaping smarter ways of working, supporting colleagues with practical advice and partnering closely with the Data Protection Officer on everything from training and impact assessments to improving data protection practices across the organisation. - Owning and managing the DSAR process end-to-end, from collation and review through to redaction and response.
- Keeping things slick and compliant by continuously improving DSAR processes and spotting smarter, more efficient ways of working.
- Producing clear, high-quality responses, confidently explaining where information has been withheld and why.
- Staying ahead of risk – escalating complex or time-critical requests to senior stakeholders when needed.
- Handling sensitive investigations and complaints under the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR with care and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Support

Act as the first point of contact for premises, facilities, IT and Estates issues across all Weston Park Cancer Charity locations including our Outreach programmes.

Assist the Operations Manager in maintaining a secure and organised premises and facilities, which ensure colleagues, volunteers and visitors are safe and experience a welcoming environment.

Support the Operations Manager in the successful delivery of the Annual Operations plan.

Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and take minutes in operations-related working groups.

Support with updating operational policies and procedures.

Act as a first point of contact for data related issues, alongside the Operations Manager - following relevant training, to promote a strong GDPR culture.

Handle general enquiries from staff, patients, and volunteers efficiently.

Assist the Operations Manager with the procurement of stationery and consumables.

Assist the wider team with ad hoc work and undertake small projects that support the charity's work. e.g. Events, Logistical and Tech Support.
Environmental Advocate

Work with the Operations Manager to promote environmental awareness and encourage the charity adopts a green approach (e.g., recycling, energy use, carbon footprint).

About the Role
This role leads the day to day delivery of a national patient and public involvement and engagement service supporting research. We have an exciting position in our team for an experienced and ambitious trusts fundraiser. Working as part of the Partnership Team and line managing one Grants & Programmes Manager, the Senior Grants & Programmes Manager will secure critical income from new and existing trust and foundation donors through compelling pitches and excellent stewardship.
The position will build on existing multiyear relationships with donors giving at the six-figure level per year, aiming to grow their contributions, as well as making approaches to new prospects, working closely with the Director of Partnerships. The role is also the key liaison between OSUK and teams at Operation Smile Inc and in programme countries around the world, leading on donor reporting and sourcing programmatic information for new funding opportunities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Trust and Foundation Funding Development
- Ensure achievement of annual income target for trusts and foundations
- Take primary responsibility for managing the current pool of trust/foundation donors, to ensure their growth and longevity – strategic input into the growth of each relationship will be essential
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of new funding prospects, creating propositions/proposals and making approaches, working with the Director of Partnerships, with a focus on the highest value prospects (those worth six-figures per year plus)
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to donors and internal stakeholders
- Represent Operation Smile UK in global funding discussions, applying any global strategies to develop successful fundraising plans for the UK
- Lead on development and management of any trust/foundation cultivation events
Programmes Liaison
- Lead on interaction with global teams at Operation Smile Inc (US) and programme country teams around the world, regarding OSUK’s funding of programmes
- Identify funding opportunities for new prospects and existing donors, sourcing relevant programmatic and financial information
- Support the allocation of OSUK’s funds to a portfolio of programmes that best meet our donors’ interests, and work with colleagues internationally to reallocate funds when needed
- Monitor projects’ progress against KPIs and ensure donor reporting (programmatic and financial) is complete and timely, and meets donors’ needs and expectations
Additional Responsibilities
- Line-manage one Grants & Programmes Manager, supporting them to manage their own portfolio of new prospects and existing relationships, including small trusts mailings
- Create and maintain annual trusts and foundations income and expenditure budgets and business plans, including current donors and forecasting new business income

To enable Operation Smile’s global surgical activities, OSUK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors, community fundraisers and trusts and foundations.
We have created an exciting new position in our team for an ambitious and confident relationship fundraiser. Working as part of the Partnership Team and line managing one Partnerships Officer, the Partnerships Manager position will secure critical income from new and existing corporate partners through compelling pitches and excellent stewardship.
The position will build on existing partner relationships with high-profile businesses like Superdrug, the Perfume Shop and Johnson & Johnson, aiming to grow their contributions, as well as making approaches to new prospects in relevant sectors, working closely with the Director of Partnerships.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Corporate Partnerships Development
- Ensure achievement of annual income target for corporate partnerships
- Take primary responsibility for managing the current pool of medium and large corporate partnerships, including global partners (working with Operation Smile Inc), to ensure their growth and longevity – strategic input into the growth of each partner will be essential
- Develop and implement plans for partner activity to maximise all income channels, including corporate philanthropy, employee engagement, cause-related marketing and more
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of new corporate fundraising prospects, creating propositions/proposals and making approaches, working with the Director of Partnerships
- Enhance our employee engagement and community fundraising offer with simple, easy-to-do fundraising activities, linked to key moments in the calendar
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to partners and internal stakeholders
- Represent Operation Smile UK in global corporate partner discussions, applying any global strategies to develop successful fundraising plans for the UK
- Lead on the development and management of any corporate partner cultivation events
Additional Responsibilities
- Line manage one Partnerships Officer, supporting them to manage inbound community fundraising requests and existing relationships, as well as smaller corporate partners
- Oversight of community fundraising income target delivered by the Officer
- Create and maintain annual corporate partnerships and community fundraising budgets and business plans, including activities from current supporters and forecasting new business income

We need a talented, successful grants and trusts manager with an impressive track record of securing funding (including six figure) and driving charitable income growth. Main responsibilities:
- To achieve the fundraising budget
- To increase stormbreak’s income in future years

- Liaising with the stormbreak delivery team about grant deliverables / outcomes
- Maintaining a system to record all reporting / stewardship activity
- Writing reports for restricted and unrestricted grants
- Keeping in touch with funders – identifying and implementing appropriate opportunities to cultivate relationships
- To undertake an ongoing programme of research and to manage / support volunteers to identify the best new prospects.
- To maintain and continually develop stormbreak’s pipeline – ensuring effective planning and applications throughout the year.
- To liaise with the stormbreak team regularly about funding needs and priorities and to use this knowledge to inform research and applications.
- To develop / update cases for support, making effective use of stormbreak’s impact / evaluation data, case studies and other assets.
- To keep informed of, and adhere to, fundraising regulations / best practice and to keep abreast of fundraising developments.
Most of the time, you’ll be working from home. Once a week, we all meet at our office in Poole – so being able to travel to Poole in Dorset for meaningful connection and discussions with the team once a week is important.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now building a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to significantly grow and diversify income.
The Major Gifts Manager will be part of the charity’s high-performing Philanthropy team, personally managing a portfolio of high-value donors and projects, and cultivating long-term relationships that lead to increased giving. Reporting to the Major Gifts Team Manager, the postholder will oversee major donor stewardship journeys and the strategic delivery of the charity’s successful VIP Name a Puppy scheme, as well as developing compelling cases for support.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience securing major gifts and managing high‑value relationships in a similar field, including five‑ and six‑figure contributions, as well as a strong track record in cultivating and stewarding donors. What the job involves
As the Project Manager, you’ll lead an innovative pilot designed to tackle late diagnosis of prostate cancer in Black men. Day to day, you’ll shape and deliver a regional model that breaks down systemic barriers to early diagnosis - from coordinating the unification of efforts to address drivers of inequity in prostate cancer to establishing a new bridging fund to support cross-sector partnerships. You’ll work closely with community organisations, Primary Care Networks and NHS stakeholders, bringing people together to build trust and drive practical, measurable improvements.
What we want from you
You’ll be someone who cares deeply about health equity and is motivated by making real change happen for Black men in prostate cancer. We’re looking for someone who has experience designing or delivering community‑based health projects and feels confident working across sectors to build strong, equitable partnerships. We’re on the hunt for a Programme Manager to join us at this exciting stage of Settle’s development. Over the next few years, we hope to grow the number of young people we are working with and develop new services to support young people with a range of support needs.

Afield is a brand new charity responding to environmental injustice. We do this by working with communities to rewild disadvantaged urban neighbourhoods; and by supporting artists to undertake ecological research. Objectives
You will work alongside Afield’s two co-founders to define and run the urban wilding and arts grants programmes, including managing the cohort of grantees. We are looking for dynamism, energy and experience of grant management to help us launch the first round of grants and a support programme.
Responsibilities
Working closely with the two co-founders you will set up the arts research and wilding programmes. This will include launching and running opencall and selection processes, and the cohort support programmes. Once established you will lead subsequent programmes, and plan for future cohorts. You will be:
