The person
You will be part of the Young People’s Services Team who provide a range of services and activities for young wheelchair users and their families. You will have a friendly and professional approach to working with families and professionals and be highly organised to manage planning, delivery and relevant paperwork for all wheelchair skills services. Lamp, an established Community Mental Health Advocacy charity, is seeking to appoint a Head of Advocacy and Support.
Earlier this year we received confirmation of a three-year funding agreement from the National Lottery Community Fund to provide our community mental health advocacy service across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
We are looking for an inspiring, highly committed individual to lead the delivery of this service, lead the development of new services through which to support the people in our community, and as a member of the charity’s Leadership Team, play an active role in further growing our role in the community.
To do this you will lead a small team comprising of Community Mental Health Advocates and Information and Advice Officers.
