This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to help build and shape the charity’s corporate partnerships and fundraising programme, securing funding that will help grow MCKS Charitable Foundation’s support from 180 schools to 500 schools across the UK.

Through our school pantry programmes and breakfast clubs, MCKS Charitable Foundation supports children and families experiencing food insecurity, helping ensure pupils can start the school day nourished and ready to learn.

Our goal is to support 500 schools, helping thousands of children and families access essential food support each week.This role will play a central part in securing the partnerships and funding needed to achieve that ambition.

As Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising Manager, you will help develop sustainable income streams through corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and national fundraising initiatives.

About the Role

Working closely with the charity’s leadership and trustees, you will help develop and deliver a diversified fundraising strategy that supports the charity’s growth.

You will focus on building strong relationships with organisations aligned with our mission and developing funding opportunities that enable the charity to expand its reach and impact.

Key responsibilities include:

Corporate Partnerships

• Identify and develop partnerships with corporate organisations aligned with the charity’s mission
• Secure financial and in-kind support from businesses

Trusts & Foundations

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in fundraising, corporate partnerships or business development
• A confident relationship builder with strong networking skills
• Comfortable developing proposals and securing funding
• Proactive and able to work independently within a growing charity

Experience in the charity sector is welcome but not essential if you have strong partnership or fundraising experience.

Why This Role Matters

MCKS Charitable Foundation currently supports around 180 schools across the UK through its school pantry programmes. Through strategic partnerships and fundraising, this role will help expand that support to 500 schools nationally, ensuring more children and families have access to essential food support through their schools.

This is a hands-on role where you will manage your own pipeline, develop partnership proposals and oversee reporting to funders and partners.

In your first year, the focus will be on building a strong fundraising pipeline capable of generating £150,000+ in future income and securing £75,000–£150,000 in new funding through corporate partnerships, trusts and fundraising initiatives.

Your work will play a direct role in enabling the charity to grow its support for schools and sustainably scale its impact.

Success in this role will involve building a strong and sustainable fundraising pipeline, securing new corporate partnerships and developing funding relationships that enable the charity to expand its reach.

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in Centrepoint’s digital transformation journey.

As Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a new People system implementation, ensuring it is delivered successfully and embedded across the organisation.

About Working Well Trust

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are recruiting an Employment Advisor to join our IPS service. You will be based in an NHS mental health treatment team in Edmonton, Enfield, working 35 hours per week. This IPS service at Working Well Trust has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment. 

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to become comfortable in approaching employers, and showcase the advantages of our service in order to work with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.

What you’ll be doing

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.

You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.  

You will spend up to 65% of your week working in the community of Enfield to provide localised support to residents of the Borough.

You will also be working to contract targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

About the team​

The Investment Team is responsible for selecting portfolio partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our portfolio partners to improve and scale their impact.

The Investment Team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.

The team is made up of 19 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.

The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. The Portfolio Director has 5 direct reports: a Deputy Portfolio Director, three Sector Leads (who lead our work in School engagement, School attainment and Employment Sectors) and an Impact Lead. Sector Leads line manage 6 Investment Directors. Investment Directors line manage Investment Managers (currently 6). Investment Directors and Investment Managers tend to primarily focus on a sector but might have mixed portfolios, depending on need, experience and interest.

The Investment Team has a good track record of role progression. All four Leads and a number of our Investment Directors were promoted from within the team.

Finding high potential charities and non-profit organisations to join our portfolio

• Supporting the annual cycle of identifying new investments - mapping the landscape of charities in thematic areas (e.g. Apprenticeships and Skills), conducting structured analysis of key impact and financial data and reviewing the current evidence base to identify high potential charities and inform options for Investment Directors.
• ​Contributing to due diligence of new organisations by reviewing quantitative and qualitative charity information ) and preparing clear assessments of suitability for investment; This includes considering impact and scale potential, financial stability and summarising risks and recommendations for senior review. Role Summary

The Outreach Manager is responsible for driving the expansion of the Schools Consent Project’s reach, engagement, and impact across London and the South East. Acting as the organisation’s lead “sales” and business development professional, you will contribute to and manage our strong pipeline of partner schools and organisations, convert leads into confirmed bookings, and maximise long-term engagement. 

You will own the end-to-end outreach and partnership journey: from prospecting and lead generation, through relationship development and negotiation, to repeat engagement and retention.

Business Development & Lead Generation

• Develop and execute a proactive outreach and growth strategy to increase workshop bookings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing schools; ensure SCP’s workshop content remains responsive and reactive to the emerging concerns of young people when it comes to sex, consent and the online world.

The Role

As the Project Manager, you will lead Sister Circle’s Healing Conversations Programme contribution to the SafeRoots DASA Partnership. The role has three deliverables: Providing trauma counselling, peer support for pregnancy/baby loss and birth trauma and our Women’s Conversation Cafe sessions, as part of a wider support offer through our SafeRoots Partnership (funded by MOPAC/DASA).

Our Individual Giving programme is central to our fundraising strategy to increase 
our unrestricted, sustainable income. This is a key role, focused on recruiting and stewarding 
donors across a range of channels including face-to-face, direct mail and digital.

As this is a new role, we would like you to own it from the outset, and it is an exciting opportunity to build on the plans in place for fundraising campaigns, and face to face regular giving acquisition.

The Opportunity ​
