About us:   

At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions. We support hundreds of families, both in our hospice and in family homes.

Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family; including overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits and much, much more. 

It costs around £6.5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. Statutory funding makes up 16% of this amount and the rest is raised through fundraising activity.

Our services include overnight stays and community breaks at home or in the hospice. We also support the whole family from diagnosis with our multi-disciplinary Family Support team who provide counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy and much more. Our care team supports these families in our modern, purpose-built building. All our rooms/bedrooms have a homely feel. We have a sensory room, spa pool, cinema room and six acres of gardens.

We support families from a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. The hospice is easily accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and North Notts. We have free secure on-site parking for families and staff to use. 

 The role:  

We are seeking a Care Administrator to work alongside our Senior Care Administrator, offering clerical support to our nursing and family support teams. The role involves providing administrative support for our Care Leadership Team, maintaining accurate care records, supporting referral and allocation processes and most importantly being a first point of contact for children and families accessing the hospice.

The requirements:

To fulfil the role effectively you will be an organised and caring person, with excellent attention to detail and able to work flexibly and collaboratively across the care services.

You will ideally have experience of working in an environment with children and families who have complex needs but this is not essential.

About the role:

We have a new opportunity for a highly organised individual to join our Housing Services Team, as a Housing Services & Income Administrator. A fast-expanding IAPT compliant Service requires a service administrator to support a team of volunteer counsellors.  Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a local, independent mental health charity, working in partnership with other statutory and voluntary organizations to provide a range of services to the local community. Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• Importing batches of client information into our client management system and ensuring uploads are working correctly. Addressing errors on our client database: merging data where it is held across multiple client records, deleting incorrect enquires and deleting duplicate client records.

• Receive queries by telephone and email, responding appropriately by providing basic information about Pete’s Dragons services; recording and referring to the appropriate team; or signposting to other services where necessary.

Organisational Responsibilities

The role is office based at Pete’s Dragons HQ in Exmouth, with occasional travel to our other locations in Plymouth, Torbay, and Barnstaple so the ability to drive, a full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.

The role

We're looking for an experienced administrator to join our People team.

You will provide administrative support to our Recruitment team and deliver great customer service.

We need someone who is flexible and happy to support the wider People team as required.

You will:

• Manage and respond to emails to the recruitment inbox.
• Sort and distribute the People Teams post at Here East.
• Support hiring managers, applicants, and candidates with recruitment processes.
• Support recruitment administration to the team and line managers, ensuring smooth communication.
• Manage the weekly recruitment panel process, maintain databases and provide regular reporting.
• Assist with DBS applications, Visa, and DBS renewals.
• Support monthly recruitment reporting and statistics.
• Schedule interviews and update roles in our system.
• Be a team player

About you

Previous administrative experience is essential, but we're willing to train the right candidate.

You will have:

• Previous administrative work experience in a HR or recruitment team.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office packages (outlook, excel, word).
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
