About the role
- This is a newly created role where you will have responsibility for driving an integrated approach to our audience influencing to deliver our strategic objectives, through collective oversight across our public affairs, stakeholder relations, communications and marketing work.
- The post holder will report to the Director of Policy and External Affairs and work closely with the CEO, wider Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Deputy Director of Strategic Development to enable purposeful reputational growth, enhanced brand recognition and the delivery of external impact.
- The post holder will need to be an experienced leader and manager; a people person able to inspire, nurture and support a team of motivated engagement and communications professionals as well as deputising for the Director more widely when required.
- To be successful, the post holder will need to be able to balance big picture thinking with driving practical implementation and outcomes across the team and thriving in ambiguity when needed. The skills and experience to drive and support internal change to foster an optimal operating environment and ability to design and embed future focused ways of working will be important to the success of the role
This role can be based at any of our hubs located in Birmingham, Leeds or London. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced team manager with expertise in community, corporate or relationship fundraising. This role will enable you to demonstrate your impact by both growing the overall income within your sub-region by managing and developing your amazing team of 4 Regional fundraisers, and also through leading by example on securing new sources of income where the opportunity is greatest. This could range from new business acquisition through to delivering higher level bespoke stewardship and key account management for our high value supporters. This is an exciting senior policy role in our committed policy team leading the fight to end child poverty in the UK. The development of a UK-wide child poverty strategy in government means this is a great time to join CPAG as we look to influence to influence policy makers to adopt our evidence-based policy solutions to child poverty.
We are looking for someone to take a lead role in developing evidence-based policy positions to support CPAG’s influencing and campaigns work. You will have knowledge of political processes and how external organisations can effect change. You will have a track record of producing high quality research and analysis, including policy briefings, on social policy issues. You will enjoy working collaboratively to identify policy issues and develop solutions, working closely with colleagues across the organisation as well as externally.
The postholder will be working in a fast moving, high profile and complex policy environment and will need to balance short term priorities with long term objectives. Current priorities include influencing the development and implementation of the forthcoming child poverty strategy, sharing analysis and expertise as part of the DWP’s review of universal credit, and monitoring the development of the green paper on the changes to disability benefits, and the white paper on employment.

About the Role and the Project
CPSL Mind’s Perinatal service delivers one to one and group support to pregnant women and new mums and dads who are at risk of, or are experiencing, a mental health challenge in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
We have recently secured new funding to increase our support across Cambridgeshire and therefore this role will predominately be based in the Cambridgeshire area.
The new funding will include launching our successful Muslim Mum support into the Cambridge area. The successful candidate therefore will need to be from the Muslim community and have knowledge of the Muslim community in Cambridge. As we have team and support spread across the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough there may be occasions for the successful candidate to travel across both areas.
The main purpose of this role is to deliver the support we offer to new parents in our area by providing a collection of tools and techniques to promote positive mental wellbeing through our groups and one to one sessions.
The successful candidates will have demonstrable awareness and understanding of how perinatal mental health problems affect women and men and their families and a positive approach to mental health, wellbeing and tackling stigma.

We’re looking for a Clinical Quality Improvement Facilitator to drive improvements in cystic fibrosis care by supporting and accelerating targeted quality improvement (QI) within CF centres and clinics across the UK.
At a time of significant change and transformation in CF clinical care, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and passionate team at Cystic Fibrosis Trust. This role will play an important part in maximising the impact of several datasets already held by the Trust, and enabling patient-centric, evidence-based improvements in CF care.
A confident facilitator, you will help to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for CF teams, and support them with local projects to improve care, from small scale changes to larger QI initiatives. You will build strong relationships with the CF clinical community, encouraging and supporting them to share best practices and innovations. There will also be opportunities to contribute to the wider work of the QI team and attend relevant conferences and events.
To be the right candidate for this role, you will bring:
- Experience of clinical quality improvement in healthcare settings, including knowledge of evidence-based QI approaches
