Overview

We will be launching our new programme from September 2025, initially as a pilot working with families across Wandsworth, with aims to be able to expand and continue beyond this.

As a Family Support Worker, you will deliver flexible, hands-on, and therapeutically minded support to families facing multiple and complex challenges. You will build trusted relationships through home visits, school meetings, and practical support—empowering parents and carers to strengthen routines, manage behaviour, improve attendance, and access services. Job Summary

We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking finance leader to play a central role in shaping the future of the finance team at St John Ambulance. Reporting to the Finance Director (who reports directly to the CEO), this is a high-impact position at the heart of our finance transformation journey—ideal for a self-motivated, qualified accountant who thrives on change and making an impact.

You’ll oversee the delivery of timely, accurate management accounts and play a key role in providing high-quality financial reporting to our Trustees and Finance Committee. About You

• Educated to degree level with a full professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Significant post-qualification experience (PQE) in senior financial accounting roles, with strong technical expertise.
• Proven track record in producing annual statutory accounts and successfully managing external audit processes.

About the Role

• Lead statutory and management reporting: Oversee the production of audited statutory financial statements and timely completion of the external audit. Ensure best practice in external financial reporting and take full responsibility for the accuracy and delivery of monthly management accounts.
• Own cash flow and balance sheet management: Lead the preparation of the charity’s monthly rolling cash flow forecast and ensure full ownership of the balance sheet, including timely and accurate reconciliations.
• Strengthen financial controls and working capital: Ensure effective financial processes and controls within transactional teams to manage working capital and drive continuous improvement in financial operations.
• Oversee compliance and tax: Identify, manage and control financial risks, including tax compliance. Provide expert technical accounting advice and ensure the charity remains fully compliant in all taxation matters, including VAT and gift aid.
• Drive counter fraud and governance improvements: Act as the financial lead for the charity’s control environment and counter fraud framework. Champion improvements in fraud awareness, culture, and control.

The post-holder will be responsible for deliver a range of support interventions for people newly diagnosed with HIV, and those re-engaging in their HIV care, who may be identified via Emergency Department Opt-Out testing in Liverpool.

About you:

We are looking for a confident fundraiser who thrives on developing new opportunities and is self-motivated and pro-active.

We would like you to have at least three years’ experience in fundraising with corporates and/or trusts and foundations, or have demonstrable transferable skills, particularly around networking/new business and writing proposals. The Role

Context and purpose of role

At the heart of the Ramblers lies our community of over 100,000 members and supporters, enabling us to fulfil our charitable mission across the length and breadth of Great Britain.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of excellent supporter service, coaching and empowering the Member and Supporter Experience Officers to meet the needs of our supporters. You will play a key role in fostering a positive experience for supporters, managing relationships with third-party suppliers, and driving continuous improvements across processes and systems. As a key point of contact for internal teams, you will traffic-control workloads, ensure smooth project delivery, and act as a champion for supporters across the organisation.

We are looking for someone with experience in working in high in-bound volume (calls/emails) supporter or customer service environments. The candidate must have experience in handling multiple enquiries across different channels and ideally in coaching, mentoring or supervising others.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Coaching

• Manage the Member and Supporter Experience Officers, providing the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent supporter service through tailored training and coaching.
• Lead regular check-ins and team huddles to review progress, share updates, and address any challenges or blockers.
• Support the monitoring of quality and productivity using satisfaction ratings, and performance measures. Take remedying actions, such as further training or support.
• Co-ordinate key business project delivery within the team, liaising with other teams, coaching the team, and supporting delivery.

Supplier and Project Management

• Manage relationships with key suppliers, including our payment processor, and fulfilment centre. Be responsible for briefing them on new projects and setting up procedures.

• Monitor supplier SLAs and performance measures, ensuring consistently high standards. Manage projects with third-party suppliers to time and budget.

• Proactively identify new solutions or efficiencies to improve working practices.

Operational Oversight

• Act as the first point of contact for incoming requests from other teams and campaign briefings, managing the team’s workload and rota.
• Oversee the scheduling and management of team rotas, ensuring adequate coverage for incoming enquiries, including peak periods and project delivery deadlines.
• Lead the induction and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to excel in their roles.
• Provide KPIs on request from the Head of Member and Supporter Experience. Deliver KPI, SLA and insight reporting that drives better decision-making.

High standard supporter care

• Support the team daily in answering incoming enquiries as part of the role.
• Develop and maintain a framework for monitoring the quality of supporter interactions across all touch points and teams through call monitoring, complaints and compliments reporting, surveys, mystery shopping, satisfaction feedback and other performance measures. Where needed, work with relevant managers in other teams to develop solutions.
• Regularly review the quality of interactions handled by team members (e.g., through spot-checking emails, calls, and case resolutions), offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Cross-Team Collaboration and Advocacy

• Work closely with teams across the organisation to build and maintain knowledge bases that can be used by all teams to respond to queries and concerns, and to support teams in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. 
• Act as an ambassador for members and supporters across the organisation, sharing insights with colleagues.
• Maintain strong relationships across the Ramblers, including Ramblers Cymru and Scotland, ensuring the team delivers a high standard of service aligned with organisational priorities.
• Attend project planning meetings to ensure high-quality supporter care and brief the team on new projects.
• Play an active role in key business projects championing the supporter voice.

Continuous Improvement

• Demonstrate a proactive approach to improving processes, reducing response times and enhancing supporter satisfaction.
• Recommend process improvements for key systems, such as the inbound enquiry system and CRM, in consultation with stakeholders.

Volunteer and Digital Engagement

• Manage office volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and supported to carry out their tasks effectively.
• Input into the development of new digital products (e.g., website and mobile) to enhance membership value and support volunteer-led recruitment and retention efforts.

London Youth Gateway is a sector leading service supporting 18-25 year-olds facing homelessness or rough sleeping across the capital. Our mission is to make sure young Londoners bounce back quickly and safely in times of crisis and to prevent or solve their homelessness for good. You will be playing a leading role in helping to shape the work of the partnership, its collaborative processes as well as its connections with each of the London local authorities.

Purpose

The Philanthropy Leads, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, are responsible for inspiring new prospective, cultivating and stewarding high-value donors into greater involvement with Christians Against Poverty. They aim to draw supporters closer to the work we do, deepening their relationship and support of CAP. Income from CAP¿s major donors is vital for the future expansion of CAP in the UK.

Each Philanthropy Lead may be allocated one or more area of Philanthropy engagement in order to specialise in, but will be expected to support in any area as required. Such areas include:

Along with seeking direct support for the organisation Christians Against Poverty, there is also an expectation for the postholders to support the raising of funds for the wider movement, particularly for local Church frontline partners.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Implementation & Fundraising 
• Implementation of a strategic plan to significantly increase major donor income, with a target of 17.5% of overall revenue within 3 years.
• Implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for major donor income, aligned with CAP's overall strategic priorities.
• Execution of market research and competitor analysis to identify new funding opportunities and best practice in Philanthropic fundraising.
• Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, in order to identify points of engagement and draft appropriate funding bids.
• Represent CAP at high-level events and conferences to build relationships with potential donors and partners.

Major Donor Development

• Manage a designated caseload of high-net-worth individuals or trusts, cultivating deep and meaningful relationships.

We are looking for a permanent and full-time member of staff to help develop and manage RSTMH’s profile within tropical medicine and global health. We need a passionate and creative communicator who can play a key role in meeting our communications objectives. This role is office-based in central London, with the option to work from home on Mondays.

RSTMH is a membership society formed in 1907, with around 1,800 members and Fellows in over 100 countries. We work to improve tropical medicine and global health by enabling and promoting research, sharing knowledge and convening networks through our members and Fellows and beyond. The Communications Manager will have the opportunity to develop and enhance RSTMH’s reputation as a credible and trusted voice in tropical medicine and global health.

This is a wide-ranging and exciting role. You will lead on implementing the organisation’s communications strategy, working with the leadership team to ensure it meets the aims of the wider RSTMH strategy. You’ll maintain and further develop the website and social media platforms, build links with media contacts, and source, commission and develop content. You’ll manage relationships with key suppliers, including website developers, strategic partners, digital media and creative agencies. You’ll also be responsible for delivering RSTMH’s newsletters to our members and Fellows, and global network of supporters.

We’re looking for someone ambitious and solutions-focused with a passion for communications to deliver creative and innovative content. The Role

• Implement RSTMH’s communications strategy, in line with the wider organisational goals
• Full ownership of the website, including content updating and monitoring for consistency and currency, managing any development work and integration with other systems
• Manage social media channels for RSTMH, and develop strategies to engage wider networks
