Job description

Prospectus are excited to be working with Autistica to help them recruit for a Corporate Partnerships Officer. This is a new position and is part of a wider team expansion. Autistica is proud to be in the top five of the Third Sector Best Charities to Work for 2020 list.

Autistica's mission is to create breakthroughs enabling autistic people to live happier, healthier, longer lives. Their objectives are simple; they want to close the autism life expectancy gap; end health inequality, and ensure autistic people have an equal access to a high quality of life. This is an exciting time to be joining Autistica as they embark on a major campaign to dramatically improve the lives of autistic people

As the Corporate Partnerships Officer you will join a dynamic and passionate fundraising team where you will be encouraged to have a voice and make your mark. You will ensure that Autistica is providing best-in-class account management to corporate partners, leading on day-to-day support given to a portfolio of partners. You will also build tailored proposals for corporate prospects and will promote benefits of neurodiversity in the workplace and the assets that autistic people can bring to specific sectors and employment roles, through Autistica's employment specific programmes.

To be successful, you will need to be a self-starter and will enjoy finding ways to present information in a compelling, passionate and persuasive manner. You will have previous experience of managing five-figure corporate partnerships (private or third sector) and you will be confident building relationships and partner management cycles. Crucially, you will be comfortable working proactively and at pace within a growing team.

At Prospectus we invest in your journey as a candidate and are committed to supporting you with your application.

We welcome candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds. Please let us know if we can help you with the application process in any way. We are more than happy to make any reasonable adjustments to enable all interested candidates to apply. If you meet the minimum requirements for the role and you declare a disability then you will be guaranteed an interview.

Autistica is fully flexible around home/office working and can support both. They are also happy to consider flexible working, part time hours and job shares. We can discuss these options with you.

In order to apply please submit your CV in the first instance and begin to prepare your supporting statement. Should your experience be suitable, we will send you the full job description and will arrange for a call and/or meeting to brief you on the role. You'll then have all the information you need to formally apply. We are looking forward to connecting with you soon.
