This newly created role will be part of our Corporate Performance team and will lead on the next phase of a groundbreaking project.This role sits under the Forest IQ team, along with two researchers and the Forest IQ Lead. This role will support the operational smooth running of the team, with a particular focus contracting and onboarding Forest IQ’s users.
Forest IQ provides major data-service providers and financial institutions with market-leading data about corporate performance on deforestation, conversion of natural ecosystems and associated human rights abuses. This will enable financial institutions to identify risks and opportunities to help them to deliver deforestation free portfolios by 2025.

The Project Manager will be a key member of the Charity and will play a significant part in developing and delivering the Life Chances Programme to our beneficiaries. The post holder will work closely with the CEO and is able to draw on support from the Admin Support Officer.
The Project Manager will support the success of the Charity’s core operations, the development and delivery of the Life Chances Programme, the lifecycle of projects and financial management from securing funding to reporting impact by ensuring the effective development and management of project opportunities, proposals, funding and finances, planning, delivery, evaluation and reporting.
Main duties and responsibilities
Project Management
· Develop, plan, manage, evaluate and report on diverse and inter-related externally funded and non-funded projects.
· Develop, monitor, maintain and deliver effective project management plans, liaising with project partners to ensure the completion of tasks, workstreams and overall project outputs, outcomes and aims.
· Liaise with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with Charity procedures.
· Deliver effective assessment and processing of community grant applications, including identification of need, due diligence, assessment and reporting for decisions on grant awards.
Funding
· Liaise and develop positive relationships with Charity stakeholders and project funders.
· Fulfil funders’ monitoring and reporting requirements.
· Support the team in planning future project opportunities by contributing to the development of grant funding bids.
Finance
· Support effective financial management, decision making and value for money by developing, monitoring and reporting on project and core operating budgets.
· Maintain accurate financial records for all projects and the Charity’s core operations, including via the Charity’s internal CRM.
Other
· Work with the CEO, Digital Marketing & Community Lead, and Charity Team to support the promotion of projects to diverse audiences.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
EXPERIENCE
· Ideal candidate will hold possess a Project Management Practitioner level qualification (e.g. APM, PMQ, PRINCE 2) or equivalent experience.
· The post holder will have experience in managing budgets, be skilled with Microsoft Office packages and be willing to learn new IT tools.
· A successful track record of delivery results within fundraising, managing programmes & partnership working or similar role for a minimum of two years.

World Child Cancer is seeking an experienced corporate and philanthropy fundraiser to join our growing team and play a vital role in improving the chances of survival and quality of life of children with cancer in under-resourced countries.
About World Child Cancer
Over 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. Childhood cancer is most often curable, with over 80% survival rate in high income countries. However, in many low-and-middle-income countries survival rates are often 25% or lower.
World Child Cancer’s goal is to help redress that inequity and improve the chances of children with cancer to survive and thrive in under-resourced countries. We currently work with local hospitals in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Mexico to enable children with cancer to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, providing financial, logistical and emotional support to address barriers to access treatment, training of healthcare workers and advocacy.
Overview of the role
This newly created Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager role will play a key part in raising income from companies and philanthropists to help achieve World Child Cancer’s mission.

Purpose of the post
The Finance Business Partner plays a crucial role within HDR UK, as the key point of contact and financial support for the Institute Office teams. The Finance Business Partner supports key non- finance stakeholders to provide timely and insightful analysis and reporting and supports with the alignment of financial plans to operational and strategic priorities. The role will support the HDR UK’s non- Core funds and programmatic areas and will be responsible for proactive fund financial management, supporting the Fund budget holders in ensuring appropriate planning and utilisation of the fund expenditure. Main responsibilities
- Work with Budget Holders to manage financial performance, forecasts, and budgeting including understanding financial opportunities and risk for the area of business partnership.
- Hold responsibility for the financial management of a number of large and strategic funds, including financial reporting to funders and maximising fund utilisation.

Your Day-to-Day as a Senior Business Accountant:

Join us as our Director of Finance and IT at War Child UK, a pivotal role within our Leadership Group reporting directly to Helen Pattinson, CEO. Your role is to lead our finance and IT, but as a member of our leadership group to take joint responsibility with other Directors for leading the organisation.
As Finance and IT Director, you'll lead the optimisation of our finance and IT systems to streamline recording and reporting of financial transactions. Your analytical skills will be essential as you explore cost and income centres, supplying vital data necessary to significantly enhance our fundraising efforts.
Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll play a strategic role in long-term financial planning, fostering collaboration across the War Child Alliance. Together with fellow leaders, you'll steward the wider organisation, ensuring War Child UK is ready for success and equipped with ambitious financial investment frameworks.
Success in this role also entails ensuring our IT systems maintain the highest standards of excellence, delivering accurate and timely financial performance insights. You'll contribute to a vision where War Child UK achieves extraordinary results within a financially sound Alliance, empowering members to maximise their impact while being accountable for every penny raised.
You will be a qualified accountant with exceptional strategic and operational experience. You do not necessarily need to have prior international development experience, although you will need to demonstrate that you can build effective working relationships with overseas counterparts. Experience of working within a complex fundraising environment would be highly advantageous though. For this role, we are also as keen to hear from experienced directors who are excited by what we do as we are from those for whom this would be their first senior leadership role.

Reporting into the Head of Finance and managing a credit controller, your responsibilities will include:
To be responsible for the accurate maintenance of the Student Billing module in the finance accounting system.
Manage and maintain an accurate debtor control record, adjusting student fee records to ensure that students have been correctly billed by raising invoices and credit notes accordingly.
* Ensure School fees are paid in line with agreed deadlines and liaise with students to resolve payment queries including setting up individual payments plans in a speedy, accurate and professional manner.
* Provide analysis of tuition fee income and provide information to management for monthly, quarterly, end of year financial reporting and periodic reconciliation purposes.
* Develop and manage communications plan for students regarding payment dates and methods of payment.
* Oversee the Sales Ledger, raising all invoices and credit notes for other income streams including Student Support Services, Short Courses, Research and other departments.
* Send accurate monthly statements to students/customers.
* Produce monthly sales ledger analysis including aged debtor report.
* To maintain accurate and appropriate credit control procedures in line with the school policy and proactively manage the collection of all outstanding debts.

- Act as liaison and first point of contact for commercial enquiries into the NFCC and dealing with them as appropriate. Enquiries may be from within the organisation, other fire and rescue services or elsewhere.
- To create and assist in the drafting of timely and well-informed reports, business cases and provide advice regarding commercial developments.
- Develop an effective network with Fire and Rescue Service sector groups and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain management processes and systems that provide for clear and understandable management information.
