About the role

You’ll support the Head of Risk and Assurance in ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Policy and Framework across the charity. You’ll manage day to day risk, internal audit and insurance operations and foster a strong culture of transparency and service improvement.

You’ll ensure that the Internal Audit programme aligns with the risks being faced by the charity. You’ll enable colleagues across the charity to feel equipped to effectively manage their risks.

What you'll do

• Design and facilitate risk workshops and training at Directorate level, with support from the Head of Risk

• Manage the regular review of risk registers, and support the Head of Risk & Assurance in developing and maintaining the risk management framework

• Manage the production of risk, internal audit and insurance reports as required.

• Use knowledge of risks being faced by the Charity to develop a structured, yet responsive, risk-based annual internal audit plan.

• Manage the annual Insurance renewal process, working closely with the Charity insurance broker.

About the role

This is a training and development role within the Children and Young People's Psychological Trainings programme (CYP-PT), for a practitioner training to deliver specialist, evidence-based psychological interventions to autistic children and young people and children and young people with a learning disability. The post holder will be based within Croydon Drop In's (CDI) ‘A for Autism’ service, delivering early intervention in community based settings and schools, while undertaking the CYP-PT Therapy Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) – Autism Spectrum Conditions and Learning Disabilities (ASC/LD) pathway – at University College London (UCL), delivered in partnership with the Anna Freud Centre. The post holder will develop and deliver adapted, evidence-based assessment and interventions for autistic children and young people and children and young people with a learning disability who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, working in partnership with children, young people, their families, schools and educational settings. The training and service experience will equip the post holder with the necessary knowledge, attitude and capabilities to deliver high-quality, adapted clinical practice and to operate within an inclusive, values-driven service. Importantly, we need someone confident with governance and risk, who is interested in how data, CRM and insight can improve member experience and decision-making.

You do not need to have worked in an organisation exactly like the RCM. Experience in a membership organisation, professional body, trade union, charity or values-led organisation would be helpful, but we are also interested in leaders from other settings who bring the judgement, curiosity and humility to understand our distinctive role.

We have a vacancy for a Part-Time Secretary for Prison Chaplaincy to provide support and advocacy for Free Church prison chaplains across England & Wales.

You will support and advocate for Free Church prison chaplains serving across England and Wales, working closely with the Free Churches Faith/Belief Adviser to His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service [HMPPS] the Free Churches Steering Committee for Prison Chaplaincy, trustees and chaplains. This is a strategic, outward‑facing role combining pastoral support, endorsement of candidates, advocacy, and partnership building with denominations, HMPPS and ecumenical bodies.
