We are flexible about both hours and where you work. The role is 37 hours per week full-time, but we welcome applications from people looking for part-time or other flexible working arrangements. We are also open to both office and home-based working; for colleagues based at our London office (N1), we operate a hybrid working model with an expectation of office attendance twice per week.

One of the roles will partner with our London-based services, so being based in or within commuting distance of London would be beneficial. However, we don’t want location to be a barrier and we welcome applications from people based elsewhere in the UK.

In the HR Business Partner role, you will partner with leaders and managers across the organisation, building strong relationships and developing a deep understanding of the services and business areas you support. As their key HR contact, you will provide expert advice and coaching on complex people matters, help managers build their confidence and capability, and support them to plan strategically for their people and align their plans with the wider people strategy.

You will also manage, coach and develop a team of HR Advisers, supporting them to build their expertise and deliver a high-quality HR service.

Alongside this, you will lead on complex change processes, including TUPE transfers and restructures, working collaboratively across HR, Services, and Implementation teams to implement change effectively.
If you have significant HR experience, strong applied knowledge of employee relations and experience supporting complex organisational change, we would like to hear from you. You might come from a generalist HR background or have specialised in employee relations or change, and you don’t need to have worked in the not-for-profit sector or held a formal management role before. Role overview 

Shine supports a community of over 15,000 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, including 10,000 adults (25+).

You will be delivering high-quality support and creating opportunities for adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their carers, supporting Shine members to lead healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives by improving condition management and fostering connections within the Shine community. 

This role will focus on adults (25+), you will be primarily working within the Adult Services Team. However, there will be occasions when you will work across age groups to ensure the best outcomes for our members. 

The role is home-based and ideally you will live within an hour commute of London, within Essex, Kent or Sussex as you will be attending clinics in London and the Southeast as required. There would be occasional travel required across wider areas and nationally including attendance at events, conferences and meetings at our head office in Peterborough. 

The role is full time 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday with working core hours 9am-5pm with some flexibility to cover events evenings/weekends.

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver innovative support across your region to improve health, social, and emotional outcomes for members. 

• Attend specialist clinics to engage with members and professionals. 

• Provide information, advice, and guidance to our adult members and carers, including hard-to-reach communities. 

• Support members to access benefits, services, and resources that promote financial stability, health, and independence. 

• Refer members to Shine’s Health team, internal specialists, or external agencies as appropriate. 

• Develop age-specific groups and peer support networks to reduce isolation and encourage social interaction. 

• Recruit and support Shine volunteers. 

• Contribute to regional and national events (face-to-face and virtual) based on member needs and interests. 

• Represent Shine at conferences, provide information, raise awareness among professionals, external organisations, and the public through presentations and training. 

• Promote Shine membership to individuals with relevant conditions.

Role Purpose 

The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic, operational and values-led leadership for Home-Start Norfolk, ensuring the charity delivers its mission, supports its families effectively and remains financially sustainable. Our Regulated Activities and Contract Scope

The Care Services Manager will have responsibility across our regulated and associated services, which currently include:

•  Domiciliary care (personal care in people's homes)

  •  Short Breaks and Emergency Respite (including sleep-in provision)

  •  Dementia Wraparound Support

  •  Day Break Day Services (currently unregulated)

We hold contracts and funding arrangements across several commissioners and funders. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that care and support is delivered in accordance with all relevant contractual and funding requirements.

The Role

The Care Services Manager will hold personal CQC accountability for the quality, safety, and compliance of our regulated services. While this is fundamentally a strategic leadership and governance role, our regulated services are currently at an important stage of development. As such, we are looking for someone who is equally comfortable providing visible, hands-on operational delivery when needed.

Initially, the successful candidate will spend time working closely with the day-to-day operation of the service, building strong relationships with Care Support Workers and the people we support, strengthening systems and processes, and ensuring consistently high standards of care.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in embedding best practice and supporting the continued growth and improvement of the service. As the service develops, the emphasis of the role will increasingly shift towards strategic leadership, quality assurance, governance, service improvement and future development.

The successful candidate will be able to recognise what the service needs at any given time and adapt their approach accordingly, remaining visible and involved operationally where appropriate, while driving long-term quality, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leading and Managing the Service

• Hold CQC registration and personal accountability for the quality, safety and compliance of all regulated care activities delivered by the organisation.

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership of the care service(s), being genuinely present and accessible to care support workers, coordinators, and senior staff, particularly in the early period of the role.

• Line manages the coordination and care team, providing regular supervision, clear direction, and honest feedback.

• Be willing to get involved in operational problem-solving when needed, covering gaps in coordination, stepping in on complex cases, supporting the team through difficult periods, while also working to build the capacity that, over time, reduces the need for this.

• Build and sustain a team culture where staff feel supported, valued, and clear about what is expected of them.

• Manage performance and conduct fairly and consistently, with appropriate HR support.

2. Quality, Compliance and Safeguarding

• Ensure the service always operates in compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC Fundamental Standards.

• Maintain continuous inspection readiness under the CQC Single Assessment Framework, understanding that ratings can be updated at any point, not just following a scheduled visit.

• Act as a named safeguarding lead, recognising, reporting, managing, and recording safeguarding concerns across all regulated services.

• Lead a meaningful quality assurance programme, involving audits, spot checks, care plan reviews, complaint analysis, and use findings to drive improvements.

• Submit CQC notifications accurately and on time and ensure the Statement of Purpose and all governance documentation accurately reflects what the service does.

• Monitor care quality through ECM data, visit records, staff feedback and regular engagement with service users and their families, remaining closely connected to the day-to-day service delivery to identify and address emerging issues before they escalate.

• Ensure care and support delivery across all services remains within the scope of relevant contractual and funding arrangements, and that any changes to the service scope, volume or specification are identified and escalated appropriately.

3. Care Planning and Service User Relationships

• Ensure every service user has a current, person-centred care plan that reflects their needs, preferences and risks.

• Oversee and contribute to care assessments and reviews, including involvement in complex cases, multi-agency reviews and situations where a senior presence is needed.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and carers, being accessible, responsive, and honest whether managing concerns or recognising success.

• Ensure that the service user experience and what it actually feels like to be supported by our service is at the centre of how quality is assessed, monitored and improved.

4. Safe Recruitment, Staffing and Workforce

• Ensure all staff are recruited safely and in line with statutory and regulatory requirements, with appropriate DBS checks, references, right-to-work verification, and safer recruitment processes completed before delivering regulated care.

• Manage all aspects of the Skilled Worker visa sponsorship process, including sponsorship applications, compliance monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements in line with Home Office regulations.

• Lead on workforce development, identifying training needs, commissioning training, maintaining records, and ensuring all staff are competent for the care they deliver.

• Ensure a regular and effective programme of one-to-one meetings, supervision, probation reviews and annual appraisals is maintained across the service, addressing performance, development, wellbeing, and any concerns in a timely manner.

• Support, and where appropriate, lead HR processes, including investigations, disciplinary, performance management, grievance, and absence management meetings, working closely with HR to ensure a fair, consistent and legally compliant approach.

• Ensure the on-call and lone working frameworks are in place, understood by all staff and working in practice.

• Participate in the senior management on-call rota, providing advice, support and decision making in response to serious incidents, safeguarding concerns, deaths, and any other urgent operational matters requiring immediate senior attention.

• Participation in a shared on-call rota, including evenings/over-night and weekends, and bank holidays where scheduled.

5. Working with Senior Leadership

• Work closely with the Head of Operations (Deputy CEO) reporting on service performance, escalating concerns, contributing to strategic decisions, and supporting the organisation's broader development.

• Contribute to commissioner relationships and contract management, including monitoring reporting, quality submissions and attendance at review meetings.

• Play an active part in shaping how the service develops, bringing operational knowledge and professional judgement to decisions about what the service does, how it is structured and where it grows.

• Demonstrate the confidence to communicate honestly, raise difficult issues and challenge constructively in the best interests of the service and the people we support.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications

· Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or actively working toward it with a clear and realistic            completion plan.

· Enhanced DBS with adults' barred list or willingness to apply immediately.

· Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Knowledge

· Strong working knowledge of the CQC Single Assessment Framework how evidence is gathered, what quality                      statements are assessed against, and what continuous inspection readiness means in practice.

· Comprehensive knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC Fundamental Standards.

· Knowledge of safeguarding adults' legislation and local procedures.

· Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and how it applies in domiciliary and community care

· Working knowledge of Working Time Regulations and how this practically applies to care rotas and on-call                            arrangements.

· Understanding of contractual compliance in a multi-contract or multi-funder care environment, and the implications of            changes to service scope or volume.

Experience

· Proven experience as a Registered Manager (or equivalent senior care management role) in a CQC-regulated                      domiciliary or community care service.

· Experience of being hands-on in a care management role, understanding when direct operational involvement is                  needed.

· Experience of managing safeguarding, making referrals, managing investigations, recording outcomes, and learning            from them.

· Experience of directly supervising and developing a care team including coordinators, senior carers, and care                        support workers.

· Experience of managing quality across a regulated service, completing audits, spot checks, care plan reviews and                complaint handling.

· Experience of CQC compliance and notifications, including operating under the Single Assessment Framework.

· Experience of managing across multiple service lines or contracts simultaneously, ensuring compliance with each                  commissioner or funder’s specific requirements.

Skills & Abilities

· Able to assess service performance, recognise what is working well, identify challenges and confidently                                  communicate these in a clear and constructive way.

· Willingness and flexibility to be hands-on when required, and confident enough to step back appropriately as the                  service develops.

Job Description

As the compliance lead and subject matter expert within Fair for You, the Head of Compliance is responsible for designing, establishing and controlling the compliance universe within Fair for You.  In doing so, the Head of Compliance is expected to write and implement policies and procedures to ensure that Fair for You is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations and to be able to detect and prevent / correct non-compliance.  The successful candidate will inherit an established and well-functioning compliance process, with the focus of the role being on maintaining high standards, providing strategic oversight, supporting the wider business and ensuring our compliance function continues to evolve in line with regulatory expectations.  

Roles, Duties and Responsibilities

Please note that this is an autonomous and strategic role, working 3 days per week (0.6 FTE).  The Head of Compliance will be expected to assume the SMF16 and the SMF17 role within Fair for You and report directly to the Deputy CEO.  This role assumes direct line manager responsibility for the Risk & Compliance Manager and the Customer Satisfaction Manager, who will assist in the completion of operational duties within this role and provide cover for time-critical matters on the Head of Compliance’s non-working days, escalating as required; people management skills are therefore required.

Strategic Compliance Oversight

With Consumer Duty at the heart of what we do, the Head of Compliance is responsible for creating and overseeing Fair for You’s strategic compliance with regulators and the regulatory system, specifically:

· Ensuring Fair for You’s policies are effective and sufficient to ensure compliance with Fair for You’s regulatory obligations;

· Implementation, maintenance and monitoring of those key policies, this includes the complaints register, conflict of interest register etc;

· Ensuring Fair for You’s controls are effective at countering counter the economic and financial crime risk that Fair for You might be subject to; and

· Preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports to the Board and key stakeholders (investors, regulators) including on the impact of the Consumer Duty. 

Operational Duties

The Head of Compliance is responsible for the successful implementation of operational activities to ensure regulatory compliance, specifically:

· ensuring that all compliance procedures, systems and controls and customer documentation are fit for purpose, up-to-date, compliant and effective across the business;

· ownership of Fair for You’s responsibilities under the Consumer Duty and SM&CR;

· maintaining the compliance manual, and all compliance procedure documentation;

· ensuring appropriate consumer outcomes to complaints and other issues arising from supervisory activities; clear analysis of complaints reporting and provision of insight to DCEO, CEO and Board;

· ensuring all notification and reporting requirements are met through completion of accurate reporting to regulators; and

Advisory

The Head of Compliance is responsible for regulatory horizon-scanning in order to ensure the business maintains a pro-active approach on all appropriate compliance issues, specifically:

· developing and maintaining effective interaction with regulators to proactively keep Fair for You ahead of, and well prepared for, regulatory change;

· maintaining an up-to-date and in-depth understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, as well as consideration of prospective regulatory changes;

· providing strategic advice and guidance to CEO, DCEO, the Chair, the Board and the risk committees for both Fair for You CIC and its charity owner, the Fair Credit Charity, enabling them to assess the effectiveness of compliance policies and procedures;

· overseeing employee training on compliance matters, including internal policies and procedures, the application of standards and guidelines, and relevant laws and regulatory requirements; and

· promoting and enhancing a strong compliance culture – to include presentations at staff meetings, delivering and writing training materials and sharing subject matter expertise.

Business Risk Assessment

The Head of Compliance is also responsible for the strategic oversight of the business risk assessment process ensuring that business risks are appropriately identified and assessed, specifically:

· contributing (with other members of the Fair for You team) to identify effective and appropriate business risk mitigation activities;

· maintenance of the Risk Registers for Fair for You and the Fair Credit Charity; and

PURPOSE OF ROLE

As part of Caudwell Youth’s five-year strategy to Go National, this role will lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s first online mentoring service.

The Project Manager for Online Services will oversee the pilot, implementation and ongoing management of the programme, ensuring safe, accessible and high-quality support for young people. Working closely with the Deputy CEO and internal teams, the role will shape the future of Caudwell Youth’s digital support offer.

Key Duties

• Lead the pilot and implementation of Caudwell Youth’s national online mentoring programme.
• Manage the digital platform where the online mentoring will take place, ensuring it operates effectively and provides a user-friendly service.

One Can Trust is a thriving local charity supporting individuals and families experiencing hardship across South Bucks. Alongside our food bank, we run a clothes bank, toddler groups and a community café. With a dedicated team of 11 staff and over 400 volunteers, we currently support around 360 people each week.

We are looking for a practical, organised and community-minded Warehouse Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day running of our warehouse operation. This is a hands-on role that combines stock management, volunteer supervision, health and safety responsibilities and general warehouse administration.

Main purposes of the job:

Sound Minds is recruiting a Head of Operations to join our team in Wandsworth.

The Head of Operations is a member of the senior leadership team at Sound Minds and leads the management and day-to-day operations of a vibrant community premises.

Sound Minds is in a period of review and consolidation, following growth of its programmes and having secured Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation status. The Head of Operations will further develop and implement robust systems to support this growth and the charity’s future aims.

The role leads on all operational, health and safety, premises, IT, systems, human resources, evaluation, and reporting activity. The Head of Operations manages the delivery of Sound Minds’ Peer Support service and will act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. They deputise for the CEO as required.

They will assist the CEO on maintaining key relationships with external stakeholders and external communications.

Sound Minds is a creative place, and the Head of Operations will need a passion for organisation and administration.

Salary: £42,833 per annum(pro rata) & 3% contribution to pension

Hours: 28 hours per week

This fixed term contract ends on 16th June 2030 and is renewable depending on funding.

Strong IT skills are essential for this role. You will be required to have a DBS (criminal records check) and satisfactory written references before starting.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

This is an exciting time to join us in our High Value fundraising efforts at Crisis. We are in the private phase of a £30m campaign to acquire 100 homes, providing stable housing for people experiencing some of the most severe forms of homelessness. At the same time, we are delivering a bold ten-year strategy that aims to see the beginning of the end of homelessness by 2034.

This campaign is about more than purchasing homes. It's about proving that a different approach is possible, demonstrating how housing can provide lasting stability, influence future policy and practice, and help disrupt the systems that drive homelessness. High Value fundraising will play a central role in making that vision a reality, giving fundraisers the opportunity to build relationships with major donors, trusts and partners around one of the most significant and ambitious areas of Crisis' work.

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, tenacious new business fundraiser to join our team and win new high-value corporate partnerships that support our housing delivery strategy, the delivery and growth of our Skylight services, and national policy and campaigning work.

As our Senior National New Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating and winning six and seven figure new corporate partnerships across priority sectors. This is a role for a senior new business specialist who thrives on building strong relationships externally and winning big.

You’ll build and convert relationships with major corporate prospects and create compelling commercial, and strategic high-value propositions that are tailored to your prospects’ priorities and strategies. You’ll identify opportunities from high-profile COTY partnerships to strategic collaborations, that unlock value for both corporate partners and Crisis.

This role will work closely with colleagues across Crisis to identify innovative new partnership opportunities, develop and drive forward your sector strategies, influence senior stakeholders, and bring ambitious opportunities to life.

You will be part of a go-getting partnerships team and brand, marketing and fundraising department with ambitious income growth plans. This exciting role is vital to helping us achieve our ambitions.

About you

• An experienced high-value corporate new business fundraiser and relationship builder.
• We’re looking for someone who is a competitive and a self-starter, who can navigate and influence a complex organisation, distil information and package up new high-value propositions at pace.
• Specialist in building and cultivating multiple corporate prospects (from cold) through your pipeline, including COTYs, corporate foundations, strategic partnerships and cause-related marketing.
• Experienced at identifying, pitching and successfully securing six and seven figure corporate partnerships
• Someone who loves building external relationships, always seeking out new opportunities and building networks.
• Strong communication skills, an ability to influence upwards internally and externally, and ability to write succinct, commercially compelling applications, proposals, pitches and vote strategies.
• Commercially savvy, we’re looking for someone who understands their priority sectors and can adapt industry priorities, motivations and funding trends into corporate new business opportunities for Crisis.
• Someone who has experience spotting the partnership opportunities that others may miss and is proactive and solutions-focussed enabling them to turn opportunities into proposals that can be converted into sector-leading partnerships.
