The Centre for Homelessness Impact exists to improve the lives of people experiencing homelessness through better use of data and evidence.

IN A NUTSHELL:

This is a pivotal role at the intersection of finance and operations, helping to ensure the smooth and effective running of key organisational functions. The Finance and Operations Lead will play an integral role in overseeing the charity’s financial operations, supporting grant reporting and wider business development initiatives, and driving operational efficiency across the organisation.

Collaborating closely with the senior and wider teams, the Finance and Operations Lead will play a key role in financial management, and operational effectiveness, contributing directly to the success of our initiatives.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:

• Be the main point of contact for all finance and operational queries

• Manage the organisation’s core financial operations, including monthly Management Accounts, project finances, VAT returns and financial reporting, while working closely with external bookkeepers to ensure effective financial management and compliance, while working closely with the COO on financial oversight and planning

• Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting, Mid Year Forecasting and audit processes, preparing financial information, liaising with budget holders and external accountants, and ensuring timelines, reporting requirements and supporting documentation are delivered accurately and on time, while working closely with the COO on final review and strategic adjustments

• Support the Head of People and Development with the delivery and implementation of the internal People Strategy (specifically focusing on refining recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as providing support with grant reporting and budgeting requirements for funders)

• Manage day-to-day operations across the organisation, including onboarding new staff, supporting HR processes, coordinating office management and equipment setup, liaising with IT support providers, arranging organisation-wide cyber security training, and ensuring the smooth running of operational processes while identifying areas for improvement

• Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and the Head of Development and People to align financial and development goals

• Identify ways to enhance operational processes to support the growth of the organisation.

• Support the Engine Room team to establish effective organisational systems, routines and operational processes that support collaborative, person-centred and efficient ways of working across the organisation.

• Work closely with the Senior Team to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to governance processes, including coordinating board paper inputs and monitoring organisational KPIs

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS:

Criteria:

• Proven experience in finance and operations in a charity/ Third sector (Essential)

• Experience in fundraising/development initiatives (Desirable)

• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal  with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences (Essential)

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT:

• Both full and part-time considered.

• Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 (pro rata if part-time), depending on experience.

The Sir Martin Gilbert Learning Centre is an educational charity whose mission is to educate young people about who Jews are and the contributions they have made to society. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) provides strategic and operational leadership across all frontline services, accommodation provision, organisational infrastructure, and compliance functions within the charity.

We have created an exciting new position in our team for an ambitious and confident relationship fundraiser. Working as part of the Partnership Team and line managing one Partnerships Officer, the Partnerships Manager position will secure critical income from new and existing corporate partners through compelling pitches and excellent stewardship.

Corporate Partnerships Development

About The Role

Do you have the skills to manage contracts, lead and support a team, and work collaboratively within a multi-agency pathway to improve outcomes for people affected by dementia?
We’re excited to offer an opportunity to join Alzheimer’s Society as a Local Services Manager for Norfolk and Suffolk. In this role, you’ll provide leadership and oversight for locally commissioned dementia support services, ensuring they are high-quality, person-centred, and responsive to local need. You’ll work closely with partners across health, social care and the voluntary sector, using insight and lived experience to shape service delivery and continuous improvement.

This is a home-based role, with regular travel across Norfolk and Suffolk, and occasional travel across the wider region for meetings, engagement activity and partnership working. Mileage expenses will be paid from the Norfolk and Suffolk border.

About you

You will have:

- Experience in managing or supporting service delivery, ideally within health, social care or community settings or transferable experience from related sectors.

- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across a dispersed team.
- Have organisational and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and monitor performance.
- Be able to travel regularly across Norfolk and Suffolk and maintain a strong local presence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide operational and contractual oversight of the Norfolk and Suffolk dementia support service, ensuring delivery in line with the contract.
- Lead, manage and support a team of Dementia Advisers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support and strong performance
- Work in close partnership with other Local Services Manager to ensure consistent, seamless service delivery across Norfolk and Suffolk.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, NHS partners and wider pathway stakeholders.
- Use performance data, quality assurance and lived experience insight to identify opportunities to strengthen services and improve outcomes for people affected by dementia.

This is a role for a creative, audience-focused communicator who understands how great storytelling drives philanthropic action. You will own all communications channels, email, web, social and beyond, and act as the guardian of the Trust's tone, brand and editorial standards, ensuring that everything produced reflects the heritage, quality and ambition of one of Britain's most storied institutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Team: Delivery/ Delivery Coordination Office 

As the Resource Planning Manager, you are responsible for understanding how work is carried out across the Trust. This includes looking at activities, processes, projects and programmes to make sure the right people and resources are available when needed. 

Your main focus at the start will be on the Delivery directorate. In this area, you will design a clear and practical resource management approach that helps managers plan and use resources more effectively. 

You will also work with teams across the whole Trust. Your role is to make sure each team receives the support and resources they need in a timely and efficient way, so that work can be completed smoothly and without unnecessary delays. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Develop clear and practical processes and procedures that support teams in sharing resources effectively. This means making sure people, skills and tools can be used across different programmes and teams in a coordinated and efficient way, helping to avoid gaps or duplication. 

• Lead on embedding the Access Resource Planner across the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust. You will act as the main point of contact for the system and support others in using it effectively, helping to ensure it becomes a trusted and widely used tool. 

• Designing simple and effective processes that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and minimise delays caused by resources not being used well. This will help projects run more smoothly and avoid common challenges that slow progress. 

• Track and report on how resources are used. By looking at past decisions and identifying patterns or trends, you will support better planning and forecasting for future projects. 

• Design and put into place a clear resource management framework. This framework will guide how resources are planned, allocated and reviewed, helping teams work in a more coordinated and consistent way across the Trust. 

This role would be ideal someone who likes bringing structure and clarity to complex work and enjoys understanding how different pieces fit together. It would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively across teams, and feels motivated by improving how things are organised so that work runs smoothly and efficiently.

The Head of Research and Involvement is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering APF’s research and involvement ambitions.
