The Food Justice Alliance
The Cambridge Food Justice Alliance is a network of local organisations working together to address food insecurity in Cambridge and take strategic, collective action for lasting food justice. The Alliance strengthens connections across the city, supports partners to share knowledge and experience, identifies shared priorities, and coordinates activity to help residents access fair, dignified and sustainable food support. Its work is guided by a steering group with representatives from Cambridge Sustainable Food, Cambridge City Foodbank, Cambridge City Council, Cambridge United Charitable Trust, Abbey People CIO, Cambridge Ethnic Community Forum and Church of the Good Shepherd. The post holder will undertake a broad range of facilities management, maintenance, compliance, health and safety, customer service and administrative duties across multiple sites, ensuring that all buildings are maintained to a high standard and statutory compliance obligations are met.
The role combines practical maintenance skills with excellent customer service and strong organisational ability, supporting the day-to-day operation of three busy community facilities.

Carry out and record routine statutory compliance checks including:
Health & Safety
Security Responsibilities

Administrative Responsibilities
