We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to join as Office Manager and Executive Assistant. You will be the main point of contact for our Senior Management Team, Trustee Board and Advisory Panel members and have the inside track on how the charity plans and implements both its strategic growth and its day-to-day operations. You will also act as Office Manager in our Head Office, and be part of our Facilities Team supporting our sites across the network.

The role is challenging and varied. You will work with a wide range of our stakeholders, both internally and externally, taking a professional yet friendly approach – you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will have excellent organisational and analytical skills and be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, excellent written skills and will be highly efficient. You will need to be able to gain the respect required to act as the voice of the CEO.

The role at a glance

Contract: Part-time (30 hours per week), permanent

We are a delivery organisation providing frontline educational services for young people. Our Head Office team is based on the site of our North Kensington centre in West London. The role

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Income & Engagement to join our senior leadership team. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and implementing robust income generation strategies to diversify and grow our voluntary and traded income streams. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and/or fundraising, building strategic partnerships and driving innovation in income generation. As a key leader in our organisation, you will be responsible for a team of c.10 people, and work collaboratively across the charity to enable us to grow sustainably and ensure that we have the support to reach and impact more young people

Key responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy:

• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing income generation team of 10 people, including two direct reports (Head of Partnerships and Head of Philanthropy)
• Develop and execute a comprehensive income generation strategy and plans that align with the charity’s mission and goals
• Oversee all income generation and stakeholder engagement activities, maximising the growth potential and visibility of Future Frontiers to deliver impact
• As a member of the Senior Leadership Team and wider leadership team, contribute to discussions and decisions around Future Frontiers’ performance and plans for the future
• Play a key role in the development and delivery of charity-wide initiatives and embedding an inclusive and enabling culture

Partnerships and Business Development:

• Lead the team to identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with businesses, foundations, and other organisations
• Motivate and enable the Partnerships team to develop new business, retain existing partners and meet stretching sales targets
• Develop and grow high value partnerships through attending meetings, sharing impact and exploring wider opportunities for collaboration 

Fundraising and Product Development:

• Equip and empower the team to develop compelling grant applications, fundraising campaigns and events to attract new supporters and further engage existing ones
• Collaborate and innovate across the organisation to develop new products and services that align with the charity’s mission, generate income and support diversification
• Stay abreast of trends, opportunities and challenges in education, employment and the charity sector, enabling Future Frontiers to plan ahead, embrace opportunities and mitigate for emerging risks 
• Marketing and Communications:
• Lead collaborative efforts across Future Frontiers to develop marketing and communications plans and content that align with the charity’s objectives
• Act as an ambassador for Future Frontiers, championing our work and impact with supporters, stakeholders, prospects and the wider public
• Enhance the charity’s reputation through effective brand management, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all channels

Performance and Accountability

• Prepare and manage the Income & Engagement budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and working closely with the Finance & Operations team to accurately account for income and expenditure
• Take overall responsibility for achieving income targets and developing sustainable, diversified income streams that support the charity’s long term growth 
• Monitor and report on income performance, providing regular updates to colleagues, the CEO and Board of Trustees
• Oversee the production of the Annual Impact Report and Annual Report & Accounts 
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and best practice

About you

Knowledge and experience:

• Proven experience in developing and delivering successful income generation strategies (Essential)
• Demonstrated success in growing income through diverse streams, including one or more of fundraising, sales, partnerships, philanthropy and product development (Essential)

Job Description

The Chartered College of Teaching is currently working on a number of exciting projects, and is recruiting a Teacher Development Specialist to support this work. This is a fixed term position which will focus on supporting the delivery of a key strand of our work relating to teacher and leadership development in the context of educational technology (EdTech) implementation. By joining our team as a Teacher Development Specialist, you’ll be helping us to support teachers, champion great teaching and raise the status of the profession. 

The role will run until the end of October 2026 in the first instance.

The Opportunity

The Teacher Development Specialist will play a key role in supporting our work around teacher and leadership development, and delivering one of our key projects focusing on understanding effective practice in relation to building expertise through collaboration. Drawing on their deep understanding of research, evidence and practice around teacher development, the Teacher Development Specialist will look to identify and build on existing practices and will seek to understand how as a profession we might encourage innovation and knowledge-sharing across the education sector. They will work with internal colleagues and wider stakeholders to understand how these practices might best apply to the field of Education Technology (EdTech).

This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone who is interested in using research and evidence to build collective understanding of effective practices across the sector. 

Generating insights 

You will work as part of an internal project team, leading on a key deliverable relating to strengthening expertise through collaboration, specifically within the context of Educational Technology. 

You will:

• Draw from literature, published research and theory around teacher development and school implementation to generate actionable insights about effective practice.

• Gather insights from a range of key stakeholders, including teachers, school leaders, policy makers and sector experts to understand and analyse existing practices, identify effective approaches and identify potential barriers or levers which might influence effectiveness of identified approaches.

Disseminating learning

You will spend some of your time disseminating what you have learnt:

• producing high-level summaries and reports to draw together recommendations and inform future work in this field.

Wider team activities

You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues from across the organisation as a member of the core project team, contributing to project meetings, working collaboratively to synthesize findings, develop recommendations and support wider elements of the project as required.

Help build South East London's renewable energy future

South East London Community Energy (SELCE) is looking for a Community Renewable Energy Project Developer to help deliver one of London's most exciting community-owned renewable energy programmes.

Working alongside our experienced Renewable Energy Projects Manager and CEO, you will develop community-owned solar projects from initial feasibility through to installation. As your experience grows, you will progressively take ownership of your own projects, developing technical, commercial and stakeholder management skills. Unlike many commercial renewable energy roles, this position provides exposure to the complete project lifecycle, combining technical design, commercial analysis, stakeholder engagement, funding development, planning, procurement and project delivery.

You'll work with schools, charities, leisure centres, faith organisations and businesses, helping them reduce energy costs and carbon emissions while generating long-term income that funds action on fuel poverty.

We're looking for someone who already has a solid grounding in commercial solar and wants to expand their skills across the full project development lifecycle while making a tangible difference to local communities.

Today, one person is diagnosed with leprosy every three minutes. It is a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. The physical effects of the disease are brutal, but the social effects are even worse. Severe stigma means that people can be thrown out of their families and communities. Rejected and isolated, they are left with no opportunities and no hope. This is not how God wants people affected by leprosy to live. Our work aims to restore life in all its fullness.

The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is the world’s largest leprosy-focused organisation, a pioneer in our field, with 152 years’ experience serving people affected by this disease. We work in nine countries across Africa and Asia.

TLM is a Christian charity, serving people of all faiths and none. You will represent the Mission’s purpose and ethos to external audiences. In this role you will pray with supporters, team members, and people overseas. You’ll also produce Christian communications. There is therefore an occupational requirement for the Senior Partnerships Executive to be a committed Christian.

To be successful in this role you will need to have extensive experience in business development and networking and have a comprehensive understanding of recruitment and selection.

You will need to be a motivated self-starter, with an ability to deliver output against demanding schedules. You will also need to have strong presentation and administrative skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate empathy and an understanding of the Armed Forces community, including the unique challenges and strengths related to their employability. • Lead the creative development, design and production of high-quality, impactful marketing and communications materials across print, digital, photography and video channels for the Charity
• Be an active and influential member of the core Brand Refresh project group, delivering the project to time and budget, strengthening brand awareness, consistency and impact.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Fundraising, Marketing and Digital teams to produce effective marketing and communications which meet audience objectives, interpreting briefs and deliver creative solutions that achieve campaign objectives.
