This is a revised role designed to support Fourth Monkey in creating appropriate arrangements to
support the student experience and work closely with staff supporting the academic experience,
admissions and Fourth Monkey’s practitioners leading and delivering our courses. The role will include
individual delivery of support for students, signposting them to online and digital support services
offered by Falmouth University and developing and extending our own support services for students. It
is essential that the post-holder has experience of implementing (at whatever level of support)
appropriate safeguarding procedures to support students, including those with mental health crises.

The Strategic Litigation Team Manager will work under the guidance of the Head of Strategic Litigation and collaborate closely with the casework, media, policy and mass engagement teams to progress our portfolio of cases and amplify the impact of our litigation.
The types of claims in our portfolio vary, but frequently include public and civil law claims, interventions before UK and regional/international courts, and actions before complaints bodies and tribunals. The Strategic Litigation Team Manager will also contribute to the team’s work of proactively identifying new litigation opportunities to further the organisation’s strategic objectives. In addition, the role will encompass work on Reprieve’s strategic United Nations engagement and international litigation. The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that builds the capacity of the Global South to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM) geoengineering, a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. We seek a Fundraising / Development Manager to manage relationships with our existing funders and to help bring in new donors and partners to diversify our funding base. Role
We now seek a full-time team member to build on this base. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and working closely with the Founder & CEO and the Chair of the Trustees, the Fundraising / Development Manager will support and coordinate fundraising efforts aimed at securing multi‑year, diversified funding. He / she will also introduce robust processes for pipeline management and donor stewardship, and will support and coordinate the complete donor lifecycle (from identification to cultivation to solicitation and stewardship) of a portfolio of top prospects. The post holder will receive initial onboarding support from the Senior Philanthropy Advisor. As fundraising grows, the team may expand in the future.
Initial priorities include expansion beyond the current donor pool, with a strong push to engage new funders, and putting in place the systems (CRM, reporting cadence, key performance indicators) to support growth at scale.
