About the role
Come and join our small but brilliant Membership and Learning team. We have an ambitious strategy to strengthen the network through growing a culture of continuous learning, improving member insight and developing targeted learning.
We’re looking for someone who can support the team to develop, co-create, train and deliver inclusive and exciting learning that encourages creativity, curiosity and critical thinking in the areas of philanthropy and grant making. Rose Voucher Project Officer, Southwark Rose Vouchers for Fruit and Veg Project
The Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project in Southwark has been successfully supporting families with young children to ensure fruit and vegetables are a part of their everyday diet since 2018. As we enter the seventh year of the project, we are now looking for a new member of staff to join the 1st Place Rose Voucher Project team and support our work in delivering the project, while measuring its wider impact on families. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience of working in a community setting and an understanding of impact and evaluation to take on a key role in the project, involving ongoing interaction with families and professionals.
Job Summary
As Rose Voucher Project Officer, you will be working alongside the Southwark Rose Voucher Project Lead to forward the development of the Rose Voucher Project in Southwark. Your key areas of responsibility will be registering new families onto the Rose Voucher Project, overseeing the two Rose Voucher distribution sessions which take place at both our centres, supported by our dedicated Rose Voucher volunteers, and coordinating and supporting the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Project. You will also provide support to our network of other Rose Voucher distribution centres in Southwark to ensure they are working in a coordinated way and according to agreed processes.
You will be a motivated individual, with excellent written and communication skills, and proven experience of working in a community setting where service users are valued, listened to and respected. Previous experience working with and signposting families is essential to ensure that our Rose Voucher families are aware of the many services and activities available to support and increase their health and wellbeing. Girls Not Brides is the only global organisation uniquely focused on creating and sustaining a worldwide movement to end child, early and forced marriage and unions (CEFMU) and ensuring that this movement leads to tangible change for the girls at risk or affected by the practice. INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE
Girls Not Brides is seeking an experienced digital communications professional to manage the Girls Not Brides website in English, French and Spanish, including website development, maintenance, continuous improvement planning, infrastructure, architecture, and user journey. You will be responsible for implementing a website improvement project and a new members area. This role will also be responsible for developing and producing performance data, evaluation, and reporting across our digital channels. We are looking for someone who has a passion for managing websites, using data to improve performance and engagement, and using digital platforms to drive movements. The successful applicant will support across our digital channels. This role sits in the Communications Team and reports to the Communications Manager. You will work closely with external website developers to deliver a website that showcases Girls Not Brides and our role as the global movement to end child marriage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Girls Not Brides website (70%)
- Lead the development and implementation of the website improvement strategy and project plan, with support from the Communications Manager.
- Recommend and manage changes to the website architecture, front-end design, features, integrations, and user-journey improvements.
- Manage the day-to-day of activity of Girls Not Brides website, including uploading content in 3 languages (English, French and Spanish), optimising content for web, updating static pages when needed, and recommending updates and upgrades to the CMS.
- Responsible for managing website projects, including the upgrade, update and support and maintenance pipeline, as well as larger-scale changes to website functionality and architecture, managing external contractors to produce the work required on time and within budget.
- Research and implementing best-practices for search engine optimisation (SEO) across website copy and architecture.
- Produce and manage a clear, well-documented approach to web analytics, producing regular reports, monitoring user behaviour and website traffic, carrying out benchmarking, identifying KPIs and providing actionable insights.
- Support content writing for the website, including writing website copy and blog posts.
- Collaborate with the learning team in development of knowledge and learning hub.
- Collaborate with the member engagement team to improve member journey and offering.
Digital channel evaluation and reporting (20%)
- Set-up, maintain, and manage website analytics using the Google suite.
- Monitor and evaluate website success, including functionality, engagement, and traffic, producing regular reports, and providing recommendations.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of other digital channels, including social media and email marketing, producing regular reports, and providing recommendations.
- Monitor, evaluate and improve compliance of the website, including GDPR and accessibility best practices.
Digital communications support (10%)
- Lead communications digital knowledge management activity, including internal file systems, and asset management.
- Manage the email pipeline and support email marketing, including copywriting and content generation for regular newsletters, making recommendations to improve engagement.
- Make recommendations for our digital tools, ensuring they are fit for purpose and follow the latest trends and best practice.

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federal corption of over 170 organisations which provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. Purpose of the Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer role:
As Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the implementation and maintenance of a rolling programme of prospect identification, research and the nurturing of relationships. Leading on maximising support through the corporate fundraising streams, the post holder will draft and submit applications among other approaches to prospective funders and donors. About The Hygiene Bank
Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted. The reality of low income is that it restricts people’s options, leaving us caught between being able to heat our homes, pay the rent, eat, or be clean. It is washing hair, bodies, faces and clothes in the same cheap washing up liquid used for the dishes. It is not being able to replace a toothbrush when needed or sharing a toothbrush because one each just isn't an option. It is having to choose between shaving foam and razors or the transport fare to a job interview.
Hygiene Poverty is the hidden crisis facing the UK. In 2022, The Hygiene Bank published groundbreaking research into the incidence and impact of hygiene poverty. It found that over 3.1 million adults across the country are currently experiencing hygiene poverty and that it is both alarmingly widespread, increasing and disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable. It stops people from participating in society, feeds the mental health crisis and blocks routes out of poverty. It is simply unjust.

Job Description
The Fundraising Officer will be a key member of The Hygiene Bank’s income generation and wider team, with a responsibility to help fulfil the charity’s fundraising plans. The Prevention Programme is currently in its fifth year as a key part of The Children's Society's national programme team. 37 hours per week
£29,155.68 per annum (DN grade)
The location for the role is flexible within the UK. The successful candidate will be home-based with opportunities to work at a nearby Children's Society office if and when appropriate.
While this role specifically covers the East of England, it is not a requirement that the person must be based there (though it is preferable), but must be willing to undertake travel to the region when required.
The Prevention Programme
The Prevention Programme is currently in its fifth year as a key part of The Children's Society's national programme team. Funded by the Home Office, we work in close partnership with organisations across the public, private and third sectors to achieve our goal of preventing Child Exploitation and Abuse, Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking across England and Wales.
The Prevention Programme is an exciting, fast-paced programme which drives change and innovative practice in the prevention of child exploitation and abuse at a local, regional and national level.
In 2020 the Programme won the Children and Young People Now partnership award and we were finalists for the safeguarding award in 2022. These awards are the gold standard for everyone working with children, young people and families, and provides recognition of the achievement of services across the third sector.
We're looking for a highly motivated individual, with a good understanding of working with children and young people and strong partnership working and communication skills. These role will involve a mixture of, facilitation, training delivery, convening, resource creation and the coordination of multi-agency working groups to achieve long lasting change across different sectors and geographical areas.
Police officers are asking different questions, there's been arrests following the work, victims are getting extra support and being identified at different points. They said that was directly as a result of the work with The Children's Society.' Local Authority Stakeholder, East Midlands

-Join The Children's Society's award-winning Prevention Programme to influence and encourage new and innovative approaches to prevent child exploitation and abuse, working to ensure all child victims of exploitation are recognised including those who commit crime as part of their exploitation.
-Have the opportunity to support and influence and develop positive change in police, social care, health and private sector practice including at the frontline and strategic leaders.
-Join a team of Prevention Officers across England and Wales and contribute to the prevention and disruption of child exploitation and abuse across a range of organisations.
-Challenge stereotypes, discrimination and wider culture and practice which harms victim identification and support in an informed, professional and solution focused way.
