You will have experience of developing projects and negotiating financial proposals with corporate and business partners. You will understand the nature of corporate partnerships with large academic, not-for-profit or public sector institutions. You should also have experience of working in a complex organisation, and be able to work within its internal regulatory framework (financial, legal, ethical etc.).

It would be beneficial if you have knowledge of, and networks in, the AI and tech and/or advanced manufacturing sectors, and/or in growth markets in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). ABOUT THE ROLE 

Team: Fundraising and Supporter Engagement / Strategy and Engagement 

As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will help the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust build strong, meaningful partnerships with organisations. Your work will focus on researching new opportunities, planning how to grow partnerships, and developing approaches that support both short term and long term income for the charity. 

A key part of the role is building and maintaining relationships. You will do this through clear communication, regular updates, and supportive stewardship. You will also write engaging and easy to understand partnership proposals that show how organisations can benefit from working with the Trust, while also helping to advance our mission. 

You will be working closely with the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team, who are motivated, passionate, and supportive. Together, you will promote the Trust’s work and create partnerships that help more people to walk, wheel, and cycle. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Developing a new business strategy that increases sponsorship income from corporate partners.
• Creating partnership offers that provide value to both sides. These should attract companies that share our values and can support our projects, products, and programmes.
• Securing new sponsorship and significantly grow income by developing clear and persuasive proposals. This includes shaping each proposal through regular engagement with corporate contacts and coordinating input from multiple teams to produce strong, evidence-based submissions.
• Providing excellent stewardship to all partners. This includes personalised communication, meaningful recognition, tailored events, and clear reporting. The goal is to build long term, positive relationships with both prospects and existing partners. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with delivery colleagues to develop engaging and persuasive communications, developing strong relationships with partners and the rewarding challenge of fundraising!

Job Profile

We are looking for an Advocacy Assistant who is keen to contribute to the work of CAFOD’s advocacy work, especially our work in Parliament. You will work closely with the policy and campaigns teams in contributing to bringing about long-term change for the poorest and most marginalised. The post will be responsible for monitoring key issues in Parliament and supporting work with the CAFOD All-Party Parliamentary Group. It provides direct support to the Director of Advocacy and Communications and ensures our advocacy and development education grants programme is well administered. You will be interested in advocacy work and have had some experience in campaigns, policy or parliamentary work, maybe gained in a voluntary capacity. You’ll be very well organised, with an eye for detail and completing tasks on time.

Mansfield College is seeking an exceptional fundraising professional to join its high-performing Development team, at an exciting moment in the College’s history. We are looking for an outstanding individual to lead the College’s annual (or ‘regular’) giving programme, and create and deliver engaging stewardship opportunities for donors at all levels.

Mansfield’s annual giving programme is central to the College’s ongoing success and generates vital and significant income for the College every year for every aspect of life and work within our academic community. About the Role

The Head of Business Development will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s Business Development Strategy, leading the Business Development team to secure new opportunities, and ensuring the sustainability and growth of NYA’s income streams.

Key Responsibilities

As Head of Business Support, you will:

• Lead, motivate, and support the Business Development team to deliver ambitious growth targets.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to secure new commercial opportunities and funding from public, voluntary, and private sector partners.
• Spearhead new strategic initiatives for business development, identifying and pursuing innovative opportunities for growth and diversification.
• Build and maintain high-value relationships with clients, funders, and stakeholders, ensuring NYA’s offer is visible and compelling.
• Oversee the development and management of the sales pipeline, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
• Work closely with the Director of Growth to align business development activities with NYA’s strategic objectives.
• Engage directly with trustees, including managing the relationship with the Finance and Growth Committee, preparing reports, and presenting business development performance and strategy.
• Lead on market research, business planning, and the development of commercial proposals and pitches.
• Represent NYA at meetings, events, and conferences, promoting the organisation’s reputation and offer.
• Support the Director of Growth in reporting to the CEO and Board on business development performance and strategy.

About the Role

As a Centre Assistant, you will help ensure the effective, efficient and safe running of the visitor centre, retail space and surrounding facilities. You will provide outstanding customer care, recruit members and promote retail opportunities, as well as contribute to achieving financial targets and Key Performance Indicators.

We actively seek to break down accessibility barriers hindering people from visiting the reserve and as such, nurture an inclusive environment. You will play a key role in ensuring every visitor, from individuals and families, to school groups, or visitors with additional needs, receives a positive and memorable experience.

You will deliver high-quality support before and after visits by responding to enquiries via email and social media. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with the preparation of event materials, social media content, and other written communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering the highest standard of customer care across both retail and visitor welcome areas.
• Providing a warm welcome and inspiring visitors about the reserve and its wildlife.
• Actively promoting and encouraging support for the RSPB, including membership and retail sales.
• Operating the till, handling payments and following all cash handling and security procedures.
• Maintaining attractive, commercially effective retail displays and appropriate stock levels.
• Processing deliveries and supporting stock control.
• Monitoring and assisting with social media content.
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of family activities, events and engagement activities in a fun and innovative way.
• Ensuring the visitor centre, retail space, facilities and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard of presentation and safety.
• Working with the management team to achieve targets, following all health and safety, operational and administrative procedures.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• National 5, or equivalent, in Maths and English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Experience in customer service.
• Strong people engagement skills with the ability to enthuse others about wildlife and nature.
• Ability to manage and respond positively to customer needs and feedback.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, and to work effectively in a team.
• Ability and willingness to work Saturdays weekly (working days would be Fridays and Saturdays), work flexibly, including weekends and Bank Holidays and work extra hours to cover holidays.

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience working in a retail, visitor attraction or customer-facing environment.
• Experience in sales or membership recruitment
• Merchandising skills.
• Till operation and payment handling experience.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.

Additional Information

• This is a Permanent/Part-Time role for 9.5 hours per week.
• The postholder will be required to work additional hours throughout the year to cover holidays.
