About the Role  

ITE Tutors lead the development of trainee teachers to competence and expertise by the end of their initial training year. They will make sure that trainees effectively develop their practice culminating in recommendation of QTS and also academically with the award of a PGCE.

Tutors will design and deliver the curriculum and monitor its application and implementation in schools by trainees, supported by their mentors. They will foster professional relationships with schools and mentors to ensure trainee success and the success of the pupils they serve.

Tutors review progress of cohorts and this information is utilised to enhance success of the cohort and to feed into continuous improvement at a programme level, and in the partnership with placement schools. Tutors will contribute to promoting the NIoT ITE programme and will also be involved in recruitment of trainees.

The Hepatitis C Trust runs national projects where peers draw on their lived experience of drug use and hepatitis C to support others. We are now recruiting for a role to join our Bristol & Severn team for a fixed term of 6 months.

As part of an experienced team, this role will promote hepatitis C awareness, blood borne virus testing and referral to treatment, for people living with hepatitis C. The role will support volunteer peers and increase the project’s reach to underserved communities. You’ll be providing vital harm reduction interventions including needle, syringe and naloxone provision across Bristol & Severn.

Therapeutic Management

We are seeking a highly efficient, collaborative professional with a keen eye for detail to work closely with the CEO in a supporting role. This role will be critical to the functioning and effective governance of the organisation, providing a broad range of support as required. We are a busy team supporting a large number of vulnerable people and working hard to deliver impactful services in a challenging external environment. In a small team with limited resources, we all wear multiple hats and this will be a varied and busy role juggling tasks across multiple areas.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity for a highly organised person who is as comfortable delivering public-facing services as they are working alone in deep focus to complete an administrative task or write a report. The ideal candidate is confident speaking to and supporting others, and enjoys administrative tasks, creating and maintaining structure and working in a supportive capacity.

As Legacy Executive for Battersea, you will have the opportunity to gain further skills and experience of the fast-growing charity Legacy sector. In this role, you will ensure the fulfilment of the wishes of those animal lovers who have been kind enough to remember Battersea in their Will and in turn will be of direct help to some of the most vulnerable animals in our society.

In this role, you will:

• Provide administrative support to the Legacy Administration team, who are responsible for the legacies left to Battersea.
• Manage your own caseload of pecuniary legacies, including corresponding sensitively and effectively with family and friends of the people who have left a legacy to Battersea.
• Have the opportunity to manage a caseload of non-contentious residuary cases, maximising the gift to Battersea.
• Build relationships with supporters, executors, family members and co-beneficiaries to maximise Battersea’s legacy income and protect the reputation of the charity.

UK-Med is a frontline medical aid charity. Born of the NHS, we’ve been working for over 30 years towards a world where everyone has the healthcare they need when crises or disasters hit.

Our HR and Membership Team ensure we have the right people with the right expertise available at the right time. We work with around 50 core staff members and the UK-Med Register, a group of over 850 health and humanitarian professionals who are ready to deploy international in our emergency responses. We maintain the capability to staff any emergency response required, including being able to provide a team of 60 health professionals to staff a fully functional field hospital anywhere in the world within 72 hours.

We are recruiting for an HR Apprentice who will support all HR processes with a particular focus on the end-to-end recruitment and vetting of health professionals and key support roles. This apprenticeship will provide you with hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn and grow within an international humanitarian context.

Our ideal candidate will be eager to learn, able to work at pace, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and have a passion for building a career in HR. You will have strong planning and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
