Role purpose:

Drive the growth of the primary education sector, leading on centre acquisition, income generation, and customer experience.

Develop and deliver integrated sales and marketing strategies, including digital lead generation, network development, key segment outreach, and data-led campaign planning.

Act as the sector lead, using insight to shape positioning, monitor market maturity, and influence internal and external strategy for long-term impact.

Key responsibilities:

Planning

Shape and deliver the Primary Sector Development Plan.

Sales & growth delivery

• Drive income and centre growth targets across all relevant programmes.
• Develop tailored acquisition and conversion strategies by segment, including cold outreach, warm lead nurture, events, and campaigns.
• Track and report against sector income targets, centre growth metrics, lead conversions, and ROI using dashboards and data analysis.

Marketing and lead generation

• Design and test sector-wide digital campaigns in collaboration with marketing teams and, where relevant, external agencies.
• Manage audience segmentation, personalised journeys, email marketing, and paid social media campaigns targeting school leaders, MATs, and parents.
• Plan and deliver events related to the Primary sector and represent the organisation externally when required.
• Contribute towards content strategy across case studies, impact stories, webinars, and sector PR/editorial opportunities as required.

Customer Experience (CX) & retention

• Lead on sector-specific centre onboarding, retention strategies, and cross-sell pathways.
• Be responsible for mapping and reviewing the customer journey, reducing friction for customers, and removing internal barriers.
• Develop Customer Experience led comms plans to ensure consistent, high-quality touchpoints that support relationship building and long-term value.

Collaborate across teams and support innovation

• Contribute to team planning meetings, training sessions, and department-wide initiatives.
• Support the induction of new team members and contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused team culture.
• Be an engaged member of the Engagement and Marketing Directorate and carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Business Development. 

 Skills, experience, and knowledge

• Proven experience leading sales, sector development, or programme growth.
• Experience in designing and delivering multi-channel marketing or outreach plans, ideally across digital and in-person formats.
• Demonstrable success in achieving income and acquisition targets within a complex stakeholder environment.
• An understanding of education systems in the UK, particularly the primary sector.
• Experience of working on your own initiative, taking a pro-active approach to your work.

• Experience with campaign management tools and marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
• Experience working directly with or selling into primary schools, MATs, or local authorities.
• Strong understanding of the UK primary education landscape, including MATs, independent schools, and local authority priorities.
• Understanding of education inspectorate frameworks, and how they impact school decision-making.
• An understanding of awarding body function and responsibilities.

The role

This is a pivotal new role designed to increase the Board’s operational effectiveness, unlock external relationships, and strengthen communication between Trustees and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

The post holder will work closely with the Chair, Trustees, Independent members where appropriate and Scope’s executive team to ensure high-impact follow-through between meetings, improving visibility of board contributions, and supporting strategic external engagement with ambassadors and corporate partners.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in governance support, senior stakeholder coordination, or non-profit/NGO board facilitation, and who thrives in a diplomatic, behind-the-scenes role where confidentiality, attention to detail, political nous and relationship management are paramount.

Responsibilities include:

· Support the Chair by ensuring Trustees’ skills are mapped and kept up to date to ensure that Trustees are contributing efficiently and meaningfully to delivering Scope’s strategy.

· Coordinate introductions and referrals from Trustees to key partners and potential ambassadors, work with teams to ensure leads are followed up thoughtfully. Maintain a confidential log tracking these important relationships.

· Act as main point of contact between the Executive Leadership Team and Board, promoting open communication through updates and invitations, ensuring prompt responses to Trustee input. Help identify opportunities for Trustees to get involved in internal activities.

· Work with the governance team to track actions and ideas from Board and committee meetings, keep Trustees updated on progress, and arrange interim calls or working groups as needed.

· Share Trustee contact details (opt in), nurture informal connections, and provide support as required, while collaborating closely with the Governance team to ensure there’s no duplication of effort.

It’s an exciting and important time for our charity as we work to help more people out of homelessness and poverty as part of an ambitious strategy. 

The newly created role of Federation Development Lead will sit within the Partnerships and Federation Development directorate, to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives, as part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty to change their lives for the better while using our voice to achieve social change. 

The principal responsibility will be to support our ambition to become a best practice national body, responsible for leading on and supporting the development of key projects within Emmaus UK and the wider federation.

This will include providing leadership to support Emmaus communities across the UK to prepare and respond to the introduction of the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act, you will require an understanding and commitment to best practice and legislative requirements related to the provision of supported housing, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into user friendly support, training, guidance and policies and procedures

The role will also provide a critical role in the implementation and delivery of Emmaus UK’s ambitious plans to seek registration as a provider of social housing. You will provide the project management and technical skills required to support the successful delivery of the application process, ensuring that risk and regulatory requirements are considered and acted upon at each stage, maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders externally and across the federation.

As the Federation Development Lead, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and development of the Emmaus movement within the UK, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting the overall success of the federation. The Work Rights Centre, in partnership with the LEF Fellowship Programme, is looking for a Trainee Solicitor to join our ambitious and driven team. We are a charity set up by migrants and for migrants, and every day our multilingual team of legal advisers stand up for their employment rights and secure their immigration status. 

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with a strong sense of justice, who is looking to build a career in a legal profession. This role will suit someone who values impact, and the opportunity to make a real  difference in the lives of vulnerable migrant workers and disadvantaged Britons.

You will be able to learn from three experienced solicitors, exercise your skills as an adviser, and progress your career in a friendly and supportive environment. The LEF Fellowship Programme will cover the cost of your mandatory legal training and exams. By the end of two years you will have had the chance to complete your SQE training and gain the required practical experience to fully qualify as a solicitor.

The role

As the Trainee Solicitor,  you’ll work on a stimulating range of issues across two wide areas of law -  Immigration (in Year 1) and Employment (in Year 2). You will learn how best to support vulnerable clients with limited English language and digital skills, how to spot signs of modern slavery or manage safeguarding concerns.

Working with our immigration team, you will help clients understand and secure their immigration status in the UK. You will support clients who have limited leave to remain (e.g. on employer-sponsored visas, Ukraine Visa Schemes, or pre-settled EUSS status) or who are entirely undocumented. Working with our employment team, you will work on cases involving non-payment of wages, non-provision of work, unlawful deductions, race and gender discrimination, or unfair dismissals. Crucially, you will have the opportunity to understand the real-life intersection of the two areas of law, as they are often experienced by the same clients. 

This is a brilliant opportunity to gain well-rounded experience across all stages of the legal process, including interviewing clients, collecting information and assessing evidence, taking down witness statements, providing over the phone and written advice, and collating evidence bundles. 

Alongside your legal work and SQE2 study, you will complete an independent social justice project aligned with your personal interests and objectives of the charity. This might entail legal research, sourcing strategic cases, or compiling data on the impact of the current policies. Working on this project will give you an opportunity to conduct strategic legal work contributing to systemic change.

Our charity was established in 1992, to provide care and support to people in Sussex, living with and affected by HIV. People taking effective anti-retroviral medication (ART’s) can live long lives, with HIV becoming undetectable and untransmittable.

Whilst people who are living with HIV can live longer, many develop other physical co-morbidities as they age and many experience social and self- stigma. Our service users are often from marginalised groups, who often experience inter-sectional discrimination and health inequalities. Many of our service users experience socio-economic disadvantage and have multiple and complex needs.

The Sussex Beacon offers a range of services to people who have been living with HIV for decades through to those who are newly diagnosed.  Our services include:

In addition to our HIV services, The Sussex Beacon has announced that it is to become a fully inclusive Hospice, providing dedicated Hospice care to the LGBTQ+ community.

The Sussex Beacon has two charity shops in Brighton and an active fundraising team, who help raise the money we need to keep our services running for the people who need them across Sussex.

The Role

This is an exciting time for The Sussex Beacon, as we are about to launch our new 2030 Strategic Plan and move to a new era of delivery, through the evolution of our end of life and palliative care for the LGBTQ+ community.  The Sussex Beacon will be the first Hospice of its kind in the country tackling stigma and health inequalities for those who are most marginalised in our community.

This role will secure, manage and grow income from corporate partners, supporting The Sussex Beacon’s mission to provide specialist care and support for people living with HIV and its new LGBTQ+ Hospice provision. This role is responsible for building long-term, strategic relationships with businesses, creating tailored partnership opportunities, and contributing to the charity’s wider income generation strategy and its five-year fundraising plan. The postholder will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximise corporate engagement and fundraising potential.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Partnership Fundraising at The Sussex Beacon

The Sussex Beacon has a proud history of working with corporate supporters who are passionate about making a difference. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will lead on identifying new corporate prospects, developing compelling proposals, and managing a portfolio of existing partners. They will create and deliver partnership plans that may include sponsorship, employee fundraising, cause-related marketing, and volunteering. By aligning business objectives with The Sussex Beacon’s values and impact, the postholder will ensure meaningful and sustainable relationships that benefit both parties.

Team Beacon

Team Beacon is the charity’s fundraising event brand, bringing together supporters through challenge events, campaigns, and volunteering. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will work closely with the fundraising team to integrate corporate teams into Team Beacon activities, encourage staff engagement, and develop sponsorship packages for major events such as The Brighton Half Marathon, which we own, and community challenges. This collaborative approach enhances visibility and fosters a sense of shared purpose among partners and supporters alike.

Business Networking Events

The postholder will represent The Sussex Beacon at a variety of business networking events, including LGBTQ+ network events, across Sussex and beyond. These events offer valuable opportunities to connect with potential partners, showcase the charity’s impact, and build strategic relationships. The Fundraiser will be proactive in identifying and attending relevant events, from Chamber of Commerce meetings to local business expos, ensuring The Sussex Beacon maintains a visible and professional presence in the corporate community.

Other Duties

· Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and income through the charity’s CRM system.

· Prepare regular reports and updates for the Head of Income and senior leadership.

· Work with the communications team to highlight successful partnerships and case studies.

· Support the wider fundraising team during peak periods or major campaigns.

· Stay up to date with trends and developments in corporate fundraising and CSR.

· Responsibility alongside fundraising for corporate events such as The Sussex Beacon relay and 5k inflatable course.

About the Role

As Head of Properties, you will oversee all aspects of property and facilities management, ensuring that ITF’s offices and residential properties are safe, compliant, efficient, and aligned with organisational goals.

You will lead the London-based Properties team, manage contracts and suppliers, oversee budgets, and drive sustainability across the estate. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, operational leadership, and hands-on management.

About You

You’re an accomplished estates or facilities professional with a proven record of managing complex property portfolios. You’ll bring both technical knowledge and strong leadership skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to operational excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven property management:  Substantial experience managing a multi-site or global property portfolio, including facilities management and residential properties as well as experience in generating income from conference suite or facilities hire.
• Expert knowledge of UK legislation and sustainability practices: In-depth knowledge and practical experience applying UK property compliance, health, and safety law.
• Financial and procurement management skills: Experience in line management, contract negotiation, budget management and financial reporting and working with external contractors or service providers.
• Exceptional communication skills: Fluency in English is essential, with the ability to report clearly to Directors and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels. Advanced Microsoft 365 skills including analysing information and reporting.

Primary location of role

This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in Birmingham, Coventry, or the surrounding areas. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London or Sheffield offices.
