Job Title: Freelance Facilitator
Reporting to: Senior Programme Lead

Salary: £120 per day (including travel) plus £25 to attend meetings with a school (if required) and £50 for attending half day training or £100 for full day training. Expenses can also be claimed for programme snacks and travel to training.

Power2 is a fast growing and energetic children and young people’s charity that has supported 27,000 young people since 2001. Programme Facilitators work with significant autonomy and authority. They must embrace responsibility and are accountable for their work. They work collaboratively alongside young people, operating as a mentor as they empower young people to develop self-esteem, become resilient and engage with school and their own future. They give each young person the time, the confidence and skills to engage with their education.
You will work in schools and community settings to support young people and their families to ensure that at-risk children and young people make the most of their potential and improve their life chances. Work will include 1:1 support and delivery of Power2’s core programmes.

Community Engagement Officer
This role is a FT maternity cover contract over a 15 month period, 38.75 hours pw with some weekend and evening working included. Overseen by our Head of Fundraising, this role primarily covers running the Shelters events alongside supervising our non animal related Volunteers overseeing the running of our two Charity shops , actively recruiting and managing new corporate sponsors and donors including our Helping Hands offering and attending general networking events.

Title: Community Engagement Officer
Responsible to: Head of Fundraising
Post Objective: Working under the direction of the Head of Fundraising, to take responsibility for any community engagements. This being Corporate led commitments, events and management of Volunteers and the Charity Shops.
Responsibilities :-
· In conjunction with the Head of Fundraising and Fundraising team oversee regular Corporate groups attending the shelter, encouraging them to fundraise beforehand and afterwards. Support and lead their CSR day at the shelter.
· Responsible for the acquisition of new corporate partners and the effective stewardship and development of existing corporate relationships to maximise long-term support for the organisation.
· Take the lead on any General Shelter talks within the local community.
· Collaborate with the Education team and support them with workshops where requested and relevant.
· Manage and oversee events on the day of happening, including problem solving, welcoming guests/supporters, directing event set-up, communicating with staff and organizing vendors. Ensure all event equipment such as gazebo’s, tables, chairs, information stand, marketing materials, etc are available and loaded onto vehicles the night before and then unloaded when returned.
· Have overall responsibility for the promotion and performance of the onsite and offsite Charity Shops liaising regularly with and managing the Onsite Shop Supervisor and offsite Shop Manager. Ensure that the EPOS system incorporating the Retail Gift Aid process works correctly and captures GA where possible.
· Actively promote and coordinate the collection of items for fundraising recycling, via the individual Charity Shops.
· Coordinate the distribution, collection and careful recording of money spinners , individual money collection tins and food collection bins.
· Pro-actively seek out new collection sites and times, gaining local council licences where necessary and be involved and co-ordinate these. Includes street collections ( Christmas and Race week) via Cheltenham Borough Council, Pets At Home store collections and regular supermarket collections.
· Ensure events are well manned by Volunteers and as much support is given as possible to all activities profiling the Shelter.
· Post and monitor adverts for and then recruit and induct new Volunteers for various non animal related roles as demand dictates within the Shelter.
· Monitor, encourage and support those volunteers in all aspects of daily life within both the Shelter and at all external events.
· Record regular hours of all Volunteers, hold thank you events and organise recognition certificates for long service Volunteers.
· Attend various Networking events to make new contacts and keep up to date with all local and national Volunteering groups and news.
· Promote the Animal Shelter in a positive and pro-active manner by improving systems and methods and provide an exemplary lead to staff.
· Provide excellent customer care when in contact with members of the public, supporters, sponsors ,and other’s presenting a professional image at all times.

•Prepare monthly management accounts with cash flow forecasts, modifying the format as needed to suit the preferences of senior management and the Board of Trustees.
•Prepare the annual organisational budget and mid-year reforecast.
•Improve existing budget templates to enable straightforward and transparent budgeting for donors.
Support to country offices
•Collaborate with the Programme Finance Lead on a monthly basis to reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring that reconciling items are cleared promptly.
•Support country office teams in fulfilling any reporting and financial compliance requirements.
•Conduct internal process reviews (internal audits) of country offices where required.
•Review the bi-weekly payment runs for the UK office and the monthly country office fund requests, ensuring cash flow planning is in place for these payments.
•Ensure asset registers are maintained appropriately.
Administration
•Support staff in conducting procurement in line with our procurement policy.

The role

Windmill Hill City Farm is an established community hub in central Bristol supporting local people to live active, healthy and fulfilling lives. The farm has over 200,000 visits each year, a life-changing health and social care volunteering programme, a well-respected outdoor learning programme as well as an award-winning café and bustling day-care nursery.
A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Individual Giving Officer to join the Fundraising team in our Central Services department. The role is responsible for shaping and leading the individual giving fundraising programme, raising vital income to continue the charity’s education, health and social care work, develop the site and keep the farm gates open for the community.
You’ll be responsible for using your fundraising experience to develop the individual giving strategy, delivering inspiring, data-driven campaigns and working towards financial targets. As a highly motivated person, you’ll thrive having the independence to design your own programme of work, experimenting with innovative fundraising techniques and increasing the charity’s income from individual giving to really make a difference to the lives of local people.

Strategic Leadership: Deliver CAAS’s strategy, fulfil our legal obligations, evaluate and improve performance, report on progress, ensure CAAS remains well positioned for the future
Operational Leadership: Ensure robust systems, processes and policies, assess and manage organisational risk, build sustainable delivery mechanisms, oversee effective digital, communications and fundraising activity, maintain our case for support and tender for and manage contracts
People & Culture: Foster positive working cultures, promote staff wellbeing, ensure staff are focussed on delivering CAAS mission, drive staff development
External Relationships: Influence and advocate for change, act as lead ambassador for CAAS with funders, professionals and other stakeholders

Rosebuds Preschool has a great opportunity for a Preschool and Family Operations Lead, to drive the quality and development of our award-winning services for children, young people, and families at the Max Roach Centre. This role emphasises a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach to early years education, play, and child initiatives.
What does your role look like:
Quality Oversight: Ensure high-quality early years learning and care at Rosebuds Preschool. Develop quality assurance frameworks to evaluate service effectiveness in addition to the formulation of a meaningful programme of family and child centred activities within our Play and Family Support initiatives at the centre.
Program Development: Design and manage family and child-centered activities in our play, and Family Support initiatives. Collaborate with practitioners to enhance educational offerings and align with best practices.
Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Promote integrated working across early years sectors. Engage in collaborative planning with educators, social services, health providers, and community organizations.
Leadership and Management: Advanced Early Years management knowledge, understanding and experience is fundamental to this role. Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering professional development and continuous improvement.
Community Engagement: Organise year-round activities reflecting the Max Roach community's needs. Build relationships with partners to create a robust ecosystem for families.

Requirements:
Looking for an individual that can inspire and develop a team, is willing to learn and has a passion for working with children, young people and their families. With a recognised qualification in Early Years / Childcare at Level 3 with a proven track record of 5 year's experience in a management / leadership role in an early years setting.
Experience of:
devising and applying a high quality curriculum for young children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
managing a team of early years professionals to improve the quality of EY practice.
working with external groups / partners / organisations in a EY provision in a way that supports the child and its’ family in a holistic way.
Oversight and designed lead for Safeguarding children, Health and Safety.
Monitoring activities / services using a database system.
Managing and working within a designated budget.
Role Title: Preschool and Family Programmes Lead
Hours: 35 hours per week, 8 hours per day Monday to Friday (Hours will include some afterschool wraparound, occasional evenings and weekends).
We value work life balance and are willing to consider term time only and or 4 day week.
Salary: £38,000 (FTE)
Location: Max Roach Centre, in person
Holiday: 28 days inclusive of bank holidays and Christmas 2 weeks allocation.
