The Role
What will I be doing?
- Creating and delivering email marketing communications to members, stakeholders and other target audiences.
- Working with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop the IOP’s email marketing strategy, including analysing results and making recommendations for future campaigns and newsletters.
- Upgrade our email templates with graphics, personalisation and optimisation.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure the delivery of high quality, effective offline and online marketing communications materials that meet set objectives and targets, adhere to brand guidelines and deliver consistent messages.
- Contribute to the development of integrated marketing communications plans and activities working closely with the Communications and Marketing team and building relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Evaluate effectiveness of email campaigns, using robust analysis and monitoring tools.
- Copywriting, editing and proofing a range of online and offline marketing communications.
Projects you work on may include:
- Developing engaging communications and content for our IOP members.
- Utilising copywriting and proofreading skills to tailor content for different audiences.
- Promoting the work of the IOP and the importance and impact of physics.
Who will I work with?
- Key relationships will be within the marketing team and wider comms, campaign and digital teams.
- Working closely with colleagues in the membership team.
- Getting to liaise with project teams around the organisation from education to science and innovation.

- Experience of Email Marketing including creating email campaigns, audience segmentation and optimisation.
- Experience of broad marketing mix including working with designers, delivering publications and marketing assets, and planning marketing campaigns.
- Experience of copywriting, editing and proofreading.
- Experience creating and delivering campaigns in one or more email marketing platforms.
- Good interpersonal skills, used to building relationships across teams.
- Experience of project management, balancing priorities and delivering to tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Experience of working within brand guidelines would be useful
- Experience of working within a charity or membership organisation
- Some experience of organisational data strategy and CRM

Role Summary
As Communications & Operations Officer, you will strengthen how Acumen Academy UK communicates and delivers its mission - supporting bold social leaders and amplifying their stories of change.
Your focus will be on communications: creating and sharing campaigns that tell the story of our Fellows, programmes, and partnerships. Alongside this, you will play a key operations support role, ensuring the smooth running of our programmes, events, and participant communications.
Working closely with the UK Director, Senior Programme Manager, and Acumen Academy’s global marketing team, you’ll help shape how we reach new audiences, engage our growing community, and turn insights into action - while developing your own professional skills and networks.
This role is a full-time role and has a salary of £25,000 to £28,000 per year (depending on experience).

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Mass Fundraising, you will lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of our Gifts in Wills and In Memory programmes. You’ll shape strategies that drive sustainable income growth, ensure operational excellence, and deliver exceptional stewardship for supporters, families and executors.
You will oversee all aspects of legacy marketing, legacy administration and in-memory giving, ensuring compliance, accuracy and sensitivity in this specialist area. You will also provide clear reporting and forecasting to track performance and identify future income opportunities. Working collaboratively across the charity, you’ll embed best practice, enhance supporter journeys and maximise long-term income opportunities.
As a senior leader, you will guide and develop a skilled team of five, championing a culture of collaboration, learning and data-led decision-making.
About You
You’ll be a strategic, compassionate and resourceful leader with a strong background in legacy fundraising, legacy administration and/or in memory giving. You’ll bring both technical expertise and emotional intelligence — able to oversee sensitive stewardship activity, manage complex matters confidently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Significant experience in legacy fundraising, legacy administration and/or in memory giving
- Strong understanding of legacy marketing, supporter journeys and charity-side legacy processes

The Retail Manager with e-commerce will have responsibility for the five Danaher Charity
Shops providing strong leadership for shop managers to drive and enhance the
profitability and attraction of the shops, ensure standards and administrative procedures
are streamlined and stock levels are properly controlled with supplies also made available
for online sale. Building an online, e-commerce, function is a key priority for this role.
A high level of organisation and communication is required in this role and a hands-on

The purpose of the Director of Funding and Communication role is to secure sustainable financial resources and build a strong, trusted brand that amplifies the organisation’s mission to share evidence and expertise to end parasitic infections in affected communities.
This is a unique opportunity for an exceptional leader in innovative income generation in the international development sector to lead Unlimit Health’s income generation strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and leading the implementation of comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure diversified income streams, while overseeing compelling storytelling and brand visibility to align fundraising efforts and impactful communications with our strategic priorities.

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Partnerships Manager.
