In this senior role, you'll leverage your expertise in influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building to engage and steward a diverse network of high-value supporters. You could be from a philanthropy/fundraising background or come from a commercial role where you are used to meeting and exceeding financial KPIs. What will I be doing?
Manage a portfolio of prospects, donors and senior volunteers with a primary focus on raising gifts of £100,000 and beyond, with opportunity to lead on £1m+ capacity relationships
Line manage two Philanthropy Managers; supporting their fundraising activity and personal development
Build robust and collaborative relationships to manage the supporter pipeline and deliver first class donor experiences
Qualify prospects and utilise senior volunteer insight to develop the engagement and stewardship of the portfolio through the full cycle of giving and renewal
Maximise the use of the CRUK engagement offer, including high value special events and inspiring research content to cultivate prospects and steward donors to an exceptional standard
Provide regular reporting and track metrics against goals to support portfolio reviews and ensure the portfolio remains on track to deliver organisational goals
Partner with leadership, including scientific leadership and Philanthropy colleagues to develop and implement strategies for gifts of £100,000 - £1m+ and provide guidance to senior leadership on prospect strategies
With support from senior colleagues contribute to the fundraising strategies for Leadership Giving objectives
Develop a strong working knowledge of CRUK, in particular our fundraising campaign priorities of Future Leaders, the Francis Crick Institute, Cancer Grand Challenges and Translation & Innovation.
What are you looking for?
Extensive knowledge of soliciting gifts from both warm and cold prospects at the five, six and seven figure level, or transferable experience of securing new business in a commercial sales environment
Experience of either line management, matrix managements, supervisory experience, mentoring or coaching junior members of a team or comparable experience where you have motivated people to achieve goals and outcomes.
Experience of working across complex organisations, navigating ambiguity
Proven track record of major gift fundraising in the voluntary sector or similar transferable experience gained in the commercial sector, including having met/exceeded KPIs and financial targets over a sustained period
Proven experience of building effective long-term relationships with high level individual stakeholders and/or senior volunteers including delivering significant income from and through senior volunteers
Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work with, and communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of individuals e.g. internal colleagues, institutional leaders, external collaborators, stakeholders and donors
Working knowledge of the principals of major gift fundraising to include identification, research, solicitation and stewardship

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy Corporate Partnerships Team. Reporting into the Corporate Partnerships Manger, the post holder will work with the Corporate Partnerships Team to deliver the corporate fundraising strategy.
The post holder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate partnerships, stewarding supporters, organising and managing corporate events as well as supporting with content for corporate partner communications.
Key Responsibilities will include:
To assist the Corporate Partnerships Team in delivering against their financial and non-financial targets as specified within the corporate fundraising strategy.
Income generation.
- Management of your own portfolio of corporate accounts which includes providing outstanding donor stewardship to maximise supporter experience, engagement and funds raised.

Communication and stewardship

Variety, the Children's Charity is excited to recruit for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the fundraising team as we launch a new multi-year partnership in January 2026. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Lead account management of a large national corporate partnership, delivering a six-figure fundraising target and giving first class stewardship to ensure engagement with all staff across multiple sites in the UK
● Develop engaging marketing and communications for the partnership and develop new business materials for their suppliers and customers, to get them involved in the partnership
● Travel across regional offices for fundraising and volunteering, engaging staff and working with our beneficiary schools on engagement events
● Write and deliver quarterly impact reporting, making presentations at head office with partnership updates
● Track income and expenditure for the partnership
● Develop new business by introductions from the partnership and also work across the Northwest to develop new leads for the corporate fundraising pipeline

MAIN BENEFITS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday - Friday
25 days holiday (we also normally give between Christmas and New Year off, but this is not contractual). In addition, after one year's continuous service, there will be an extra 2 days annual holiday added for every complete year of service, up to a maximum of five days' extra holiday.

Key Accountabilities
Share meaningful content and powerful stories
- Lead the creation of specific charity key messaging and a case for support per project (e.g., Christmas, appeals) and ensure this is adhered to throughout all communications

- Work closely with our fundraising teams on a content plan and delivery of communications, understanding the importance of stewardship, internal communications and our calendar of events

- Create and submit content for UHBW’s Viva Engage that increases awareness and engagement with the charity, working closely with the internal and external UHBW communications teams to utilise other UHBW channels where available
- Lead on the content and design of Reach, our supporter newsletter, creating engaging and impact driven content
- Commission new photography and video, including obtaining permissions and consent for use. Monitor our image database to ensure it is compliant with GDPR.

Champion our marketing campaigns

Main purpose of the role

Main Responsibilities:
- Play a leading role in the development and delivery of ICC’s fundraising strategy and the success of direct marketing, telemarketing and online campaigns to generate cash, regular giving and Gift Aid.

Purpose of the Role
This role sits at the heart of a collaborative, fast-moving team, supporting others to deliver brilliant digital campaigns while owning the technical foundations that make it all possible. You will lead Bite Back’s digital strategy delivery during a period of parental leave. You will also lead reporting and insights for the Digital Communications team, designing and implementing PPC and SEO strategies, and project managing website development projects. Additionally, you will manage the budget for the website, email marketing and social media.
You’ll need strong organisational skills to stay on top of multiple platforms, confident communication to coordinate with suppliers and teammates, and the initiative to lead on projects or solve issues independently. While much of your work will involve behind-the-scenes problem-solving, you’ll be a vital partner to colleagues across campaigns, content and operations. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking the lead on digital strategies and operations, but equally happy working as part of a team that values clarity, trust and shared ambition.
