About this role:
As Process Improvement Specialist, you will:

• work closely with colleagues across the organisation to identify and implement process efficiency and automation opportunities, from start to finish,
• develop and maintain process documentation, such as procedures, process maps and guides,
• regularly analyse data to understand the effectiveness of processes across the organisation, paying close attention to detail at all times,
• complete process mapping and reviews in order to maximise efficiency, coming up with solutions to complex problems swiftly.

About you:
To be successful in this role you should be truly process driven, with experience of implementing new processes and streamlining existing ones, with a knack for understanding a problem, analysing, and then fixing it. You’ll need to be a people person, as you’ll be business partnering colleagues and ‘meeting them where they are’, as they map out their processes and identify areas for improvement. You’ll need to be very detail orientated, and it would be beneficial if you have some Six Sigma certification to support your experience in process improvement. Additionally, you’ll need a commitment to the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust.

About this team:
Under the leadership of the Chief Operating Officer, the Finance, IT, Governance and Risk, Efficiency and Sustainability, Facilities and Legal teams provide professional business advice and central support to Dogs Trust. These traditionally ‘back-office’ teams work closely with the rest of Dogs Trust to enable them to work more efficiently and effectively to deliver our mission. Current turnover is in excess of £110m and is still growing and staffing levels are approaching 1,500 FTE. The Efficiency and Sustainability function is being introduced as a new department in a response to the growing need to work in a more cost effective, sustainable and strategically commercial way.

Community Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover)

Role Purpose

The Community Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover) role will be a critical piece of our Community Programmes team, which provides support to founders at every stage of their startup journey. The Community Programme offering includes a roster of events including panels, masterclasses and workshops, as well as mentoring and coaching opportunities, and peer-to-peer engagement opportunities. We work with an exciting range of partners across the private and third sectors to connect underrepresented founders to networks and capital that will help launch and grow their mission-driven businesses.

We are looking for a driven, process-oriented self-starter who is interested in a role that will expose them to a variety of activities across the Community portfolio. As the Community Engagement Manager, you’ll work directly with the Co-Head of Programmes to ensure the systems we need are in place to support the team to deliver their support offering and that we are constantly learning and evolving our programme offering from Founder feedback and engagement.

You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering programmes and events for the graduate community, as well as contribute to our community engagement strategy – helping us to set up new aspects of our programmes and collaborating with programme managers and coordinators across the portfolio to contribute to a more engaged community of entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities

Graduate Community Engagement

• Maintain the community engagement strategy for enhanced engagement between founders and a more cohesive founder journey across all stages
•  Maintain the end-to-end design and management of the founder experience in the graduate community platform (Circle)
• Helping founders to widen their networks and facilitate connections that can provide critical support and direction via our graduate community platform
• Work collaboratively across the Programmes team to ensure entrepreneurs who engage with Hatch are connected to the best programmes, resources and offers for them
• Maintaining a list of partnership perks for the  community
• Understanding both founder needs and partnership opportunities and coordinate the creation of  relevant resources, content and perks to meet these
• Attend ecosystem events and speak on behalf of Hatch, and engage the wider team in doing the same
• Helping to ensure consistent relationship management and communication with partner organisations

Programme delivery and development

• Reviewing existing insights and conducting research to refine existing and new peer-to-peer programmes for Hatch founders and graduates
• Engaging mentors, experts and facilitators, where applicable, to support with the leadership of peer-to-peer programmes 
• Planning, facilitating and evaluating networking opportunities for founders to build and foster  community engagement
• Developing and managing  support  opportunities for our graduates to increase their access to capital, contracts, and connections
• Working collaboratively with Marketing and Communications team to drive engagement through founder and graduate communication channels
• Managing the content strategy and maintenance of the Resource Hub, to ensure accessibility of content for founders outside of a cohort programme

Systems and administration

• Maintaining the KPI tracking system to record programme founder participation, feedback and learning outcomes
• Feeding into the development of a new CRM system to help us better manage our founder and partner relationships
• Supporting the development and maintenance of our calendar of activities, showcasing engagement opportunities to our founders and the public
• Reviewing and suggesting improvements and innovations  to systems and implementing system changes

Monitoring and evaluation

• Supporting the collection and collation of feedback from volunteers, mentors and founders in order to monitor and improve participant experience
• Working with the Fundraising team to report on Community Programme KPIs, anecdotal feedback, and to support with the generation of case studies, for funder reports and fundraising pitches
• Collecting and analysing relevant data for the resources webpage, graduate community platform, as well as keeping up to date with any relevant tech updates and training required for monitoring the data

Other 

• Gaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of Hatch’s work, priorities and future plans and acting as a spokesperson for the charity when required
• Representing Hatch externally at speaking  and networking opportunities

Person Specification 

• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
• Comfortable collecting and generating insights from data for reports

Schools2030 is a global programme focused on holistic learning and teacher leadership. The programme brings together a diverse coalition which includes educators, school leaders, civil society, researchers, international organisations and government across ten countries and 1,000+ schools and non-formal education centres. The goal is to improve quality teaching and holistic learning, and to foster resilient education systems across the world, including for those living in remote regions and those facing multiple forms of marginalisation and crises.

Schools2030 teams and partners across 10 countries and globally generate a considerable amount of evidence and data essential for programme learning and impact. This includes various types of data: learning assessment data collected annually across all countries by Schools2030 Assessment Partners; qualitative evidence on programme implementation and processes collected annually by Learning Partners in each country; Impact Evaluation data collected at baseline, midline and endline by Schools2030 Global Evaluation Partners; and research evidence and findings produced by our growing network of Schools2030 Research Partners.

The Evidence and Impact Manager position within Schools2030 is a new role for the programme. This individual will lead on the synthesis, analysis and consolidation of all evidence and data from across countries and globally. The objective is to inform local, national and global agendas aimed at advancing holistic learning and fostering teacher leadership for education systems transformation across Schools2030’s 10 countries. The Evidence and Impact Manager will also lead on dissemination of this evidence at both global and national levels. This involves working closely with the wider Schools2030 Global and National focal points to ensure effective and strategic sharing of Schools2030’s impact evidence with global audiences. Furthermore, the Evidence and Impact Manager will consolidate and disseminate key data and insights relevant for forging expanded partnerships, facilitating annual donor reporting, and engaging externally with strategic partners for the Schools2030 global coalition. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND CORE TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

Evidence synthesis and analysis:

• Coordinate the efforts of Schools2030 National Learning Partners in each country, consolidating their annual reports and drawing lessons learned from across the 10 countries. This will inform global programming and evidence dissemination, fostering cross-fertilizing of key data and insights within and across relevant Schools2030 national partners and teams.

• Coordinate with Schools2030 Global Partners on Assessment, Data and Evaluation to consolidate, synthesise and analyse evidence from across programme workstreams.

• Coordinate with Schools2030 Research Officer to consolidate, synthesise, and analyse evidence from across Schools2030 network of Research Partners.

• Lead the development of Annual Schools2030 Global Evidence, Learning and Impact reports and preparation materials for external dissemination events/forums, drawing on all the above-mentioned partnerships and workstreams related to evidence and impact.

Evidence dissemination and curation:

• Oversee the development of Schools2030 Learning Database and Dashboard in partnership with Schools2030 Assessment and Evaluation Partners

• Lead the dissemination of Annual Schools2030 Global Evidence, Learning and Impact reports and key findings, using Schools2030 and AKF communication channels as well as other global opportunities and convenings.

• Establish and spearhead Schools2030 Evidence and Impact Community of Practice, compromising Schools2030 team members as well as national and global learning and assessment partners.

• Establish and spearhead Schools2030 sharing and learning dissemination forums aimed at external partners, facilitating the exchange of Schools2030 key findings and insights.

• Collaborate with the Schools2030 Global Communications team to enhance the Schools2030 website for sharing and showcasing evidence from across the programme countries and global workstreams for schooland systems-level uptake.

• Collaborate with the Schools2030 Research Officer to identify key global and national research fora to disseminate and connect Schools2030’s emerging evidence (i.e. UKFIET, CIES, GEEAP, the What Works Hub, and BE2).

Strategic leadership and engagement:

• Lead the development and operationalisation of a Learning and Impact Strategy for Schools2030, in partnership with the Schools2030 Research Officer.

• Contribute to Schools2030’s resource mobilisation, proposal development and donor reporting by drawing in relevant Schools2030 data and insights as needed.

• Contribute to AKF’s global indicators framework and integrate Schools2030 evidence and impact into wider AKF Education Improvement Programme priority areas of focus, including, but not limited to education access, quality, and systems-level change.

• Incorporate key research, evidence and data from Schools2030 partners (and beyond) about best practices related to advancing holistic education in and through teacher agency and leadership.

• Conduct regular reviews of Schools2030 data and evidence to inform decision-making, identifying emerging trends or issues, and recommending adjustments to programme strategies and activities as needed.

• Engage with key stakeholders, including Schools2030 donors, as well as other key stakeholders, including academic institutions, to share findings, solicit feedback, and foster collaboration in advancing Schools2030 goals.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, BEHAVIOURS, ATTRIBUTES

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, international development or a relevant field; Doctorate preferred

Skills

• Proven track record in synthesising and analysing complex data and evidence across different countries or contexts and from different research/study designs

• Experience in quantitative and statistical analysis

• Experience in digital data collection, analysis and visualisation software, for example PowerBI, Microsoft Azure

• Excellent writing skills, including extensive experience preparing and delivering reports

• Highly effective communicator, including extensive experience preparing and delivering presentations 

• Experience coordinating partnerships and/or projects across diverse contexts

• Able to work to deadlines and effectively manage competing priorities

You will join us at an exciting time to improve primarily our supporter journeys but will also focus on audience experience across the charity, including our support services, fundraising, campaigns, and marketing activity.  You’ll be taking stock of our current journeys - working with a wide range of stakeholders to evaluate what is working well, where there are overlaps and pain points, and how we can make improvements. You will then continually champion the needs and expectations of our audiences in the development of new journeys and activities, working as part of other transformational programmes to deliver a first-class experience for our audiences. 

You’ll also be providing clear and practical support to steer teams to work in a more audience-centered way and your approach will be based on data-led insights, making use of a suite of exciting new tools and audience analysis we have recently undertaken.

Public Voice is a partner in the Haringey Advice Partnership (HAP) which is delivering the Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service in Haringey from April 2022 to March 2025 with an option to extend for a further four years. Our role is to provide information and signposting for health and social care enquiries and develop the outreach and engagement activity to identify needs in the community and target specific community groups who are less familiar with IAG services.

The HAP Project Manager is responsible for managing Public Voice’s overall contribution to the Haringey Advice Partnership and project, ensuring Public Voice meets and reports on its targets and outcomes. This includes leading the outreach activities for HAP on behalf of Public Voice, arranging and attending drop-in sessions across the borough, and working in close collaboration with a variety of community stakeholders to reach those in need of HAP support.The Project Manager will be an active member of the HAP programme management team.

The Role 
 
Last autumn, Yorkshire Cancer Research opened the first Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre – a fully integrated Cancer Rehabilitation Centre, Café, Shop, Donation Centre and Office, all under one roof.

We are currently looking for a Deputy Café Manager to join our Café team. Reporting to the Café Manager, you will be involved in the day to day running of the café, serving food and drink in a positive and welcoming manner. This role would ideally suit someone working in a similar position looking for a new challenge or for someone looking to step into their first management role.  
 

Specifically, you will: 

• Play an active part in running our Café in Harrogate, supporting the Café Manager in implementing processes and ways of working.

• Support the Café Manager to maximise the income and profit of the Café through active stock management, replenishment, and rotation. 

• Manage the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the Café in the absence of the Café Manager. 

• Support the Café Manager to ensure the Café is presented to the highest standards.

Princess Court is a 24-hour Mental Health Supported Housing Service that provides a person-centred holistic approach to promote the recovery of the people who live here and help them regain their independence. The individuals entering the service have high-level support and care needs that can include serious mental illness and/or a history of substance misuse.

Our role is to support them, identify and meet their diverse needs and help them on their personalised recovery journey.

This challenging front line role comes with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, contracts, staff and building maintenance. As well as ensuring the very best delivery and offering direct employment support to Service Users, you’ll be responsible for promoting the service and managing all referrals. Line managing and provide supervision to front-line staff, providing individual and group support sessions to Service Users, ensuring data entry to MI & reporting systems is accurate and timely, and taking responsibility for the service budget – these are just some aspects of this varied and vital leadership role.

To succeed, you’ll need a proven relevant background that includes experience of managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs and, ideally, an understanding of the CQC Framework.
