Head of Programmes is a key role with significant scope to grow as the charity evolves. You’ll lead on the day-to-day delivery of our programmes, including our largest single programme, Maths Circles: a small-group-based maths enrichment programme engaging talented young mathematicians nationwide. You will coordinate a large community of volunteers as well as our in-house team of part-time and freelance staff to deliver an excellent experience for students, parents, tutors and partners.
You will need to be genuinely enthusiastic about using our CRM and Google Sheets to track progress and excited about martialling the charity’s data to communicate clearly with colleagues, partners and trustees. You will take ownership of programme reporting and KPIs, using insights to identify and implement delivery improvements and demonstrate impact.
You will communicate regularly with our diverse community – including speaking directly to young people and parents to resolve issues, recruiting and training education professionals and meeting with partners to organise and manage projects. Beyond programme delivery, you’ll play a crucial part in fundraising, communications, recruitment and planning and will occasionally deputise for the Foundation Director in representing the charity externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of programme operations

The role will focus on growing the value of funding from large trusts and foundations globally, as well as from corporate foundations and institutional funders via consortium partnerships with larger conservation actors.

The role will lead a team of two, work collaboratively with fundraising colleagues based in the US and UK to secure visibility with and develop strong long-term partnerships with new Trusts and Foundations; and work closely with colleagues in Kenya to ensure strong project delivery and grant management. - Lead the implementation of the Trusts & Foundations (T&Fs) programme with a particular focus on growing the portfolio of large T&Fs in the USA, UK and European markets;

Overview
Working with the Head of Fundraising, you will play a key role in securing income from corporate partners and major donors to support AVUK’s bold 10-year plan. These partnerships are central to our long-term strategy to transform the landscape of Auditory Verbal provision, ensuring that every family who wants their child to learn to listen and talk can access a publicly funded Auditory Verbal programme in their local area.

Corporate partnerships strategy
- With support and guidance from the Head of Fundraising, lead the development and delivery of AVUK’s corporate partnerships strategy in support of our overall fundraising goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities at a five and six figure value, unlocking new opportunities that contribute to a £130k partnerships budget this year.
Business development & income generation
- Work closely with your fundraising and comms colleagues to create compelling proposals and pitches that resonate with corporate and major donor audiences and help you to secure new gifts / partnerships.

The Donmar has an exceptional ability to raise private funds, and the vital importance of fundraising is recognised across the organisation and embedded in the overall strategy. Each year we raise around half our income through fundraising from a varied number of sources, with corporate income representing around a third of the fundraised income. The Development team is led by the Director of Strategic Development and Fundraising, and comprises 11 people.
Purpose of role
The Head of Corporate Partnerships will join the Development department at a time of rapid and exciting growth for the team, with a remit to lead a high achieving and ambitious team of three to achieve significant revenue targets through partnerships and sponsorships, oversee a successful corporate masterclass programme and research and implement new opportunities to generate revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities
Partnerships and Sponsorships
- Work alongside the Head of Philanthropy and Head of Trusts and Events to deliver the Donmar’s Development strategy in line with the wider Organizational strategy and following our core Donmar values.
- Lead the Corporate Development team to maximise revenue from corporate partnerships and the Donmar’s growing corporate masterclass programme.
- Report to and work closely with the Director of Strategic Development and Fundraising to set ambitious yet realistic annual targets for the corporate team.
- Lead on new business, personally generating significant income through identifying prospective new corporate partners and delivering effective cultivation strategies, including engaging appropriate members of the Board and Development Committee.
- Take a commercial approach to income generation at the Donmar, identifying and developing new opportunities for further growth.
- Exploring new partnerships models in collaboration with our Partners, co-creating projects and being excited about change and innovation.

Principal Role
- Develop and deliver Back Up’s corporate fundraising strategy, focusing on securing long-term, high-value partnerships with organisations aligned to our mission.

High Trees Community Development Trust is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Community Action to join our senior management team and lead one of our core service areas.
This is an exciting and important role within our work, continually shaped by the needs and priorities of the communities we work alongside. While the focus of our Community Action service evolves year on year, it always centres on social action, capacity building, and strengthening community voice.
This coming year will see this work expand rapidly, following High Trees’ successful bid to deliver the local authority contract for capacity building support to voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations across Lambeth.
