The Development Events Manager’s role is to organise a portfolio of events and support on the delivery of larger annual fundraising events. They are responsible for creating and delivering a variety of events that align with supporter benefits, in order to engage potential supporters and further develop relationships with existing supporters. The role works collaboratively with the fundraising and membership teams in the department, to best meet the needs of supporters and maximise income.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing events and strong project management skills. They will have excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative as well as in a team. They will be used to working in a fast-paced environment and to managing multiple events simultaneously.
The successful candidates will have the following:
- Experience of effective events management and successful project management
- Excellent and proven organisational skills
- Good budget management skills, including tracking expenditure and projecting income

This pivotal role will support the charity’s research and evaluation consultancy work through Brilliant Consulting. The Senior Research and Evaluation Officer will join a small consultancy team and will be managed by the charity’s Director of Research and Impact. The consultancy team is part of the charity’s wider research and impact team, who collectively have two areas of responsibility: evaluating and reporting the impact of the charity’s programmes and providing research and evaluation consultancy and strategy support to education organisations.
The successful candidate will have strong research skills, including in quantitative research, and will be able to communicate technical information and findings to university access and success practitioners and educators. They will also demonstrate professional skills in relation to stakeholder management and project management and will champion the charity’s values and embody them in interactions with colleagues and partners. While this role can be based at any of our offices throughout the UK, some travel will be required (mainly to London) to attend in-person meetings.

The role will best suit someone who
- Has a degree in a subject involving applied research (e.g., economics, education, policy, psychology, sociology, statistics).
- Has quantitative research skills, ideally with experience of constructing comparison groups and running statistical models to understand impact.

About the role
You will lead on all financial reporting, planning and compliance, and ensure financial information is accurate, timely and useful for decision-making. You will also manage one member of staff (Finance Administrator) and work with colleagues across the organisation to support budgeting, forecasting, project costing and grant applications.
Key responsibilities
Board & Leadership
- Advise the CEO and Board on all financial matters, ensuring all legal and financial requirements are met.
- Attend Board and relevant sub-committee meetings.
- Provide financial input for the Strategic Business Plan and other analysis as required.
Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, restricted/unrestricted funds and balance sheet reporting.

- Produce a six‑month reforecast.

Tax
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns, ensuring correct application of partial exemption rules.
- Review gift aid and GASDS claims to ensure compliance and maximise income.
Payroll
- Ensure compliance with pensions, NMW and tax regulations.
- Oversee P11Ds and payrolling of benefits (where applicable).
- Support and oversee the Finance Administrator with SAGE payroll and keep up to date with relevant tax/employment law changes.
- Review payroll before submission.
Other responsibilities
- Manage high‑level cashflow and work with the Finance Administrator on daily cash monitoring.
- Line-manage the Finance Administrator.
- Support departments with project budgets, cashflows and grant applications.
- Develop and update financial systems and controls as the organisation evolves.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure cost‑effective purchasing (including IT, utilities and contracts).
- Contribute to the wider SMT.
- Maintain the chart of accounts in SAGE and ensure monthly reconciliations and journals are completed.
- Keep up with CPD requirements.
- Carry out other duties as required.
Essential criteria
- Experience working in a charity, with strong knowledge of Charity SORP (old and new).
- Experience using SAGE 50.
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA).

In this dynamic position, you will be the driving force behind our Estates and Facilities helpdesk. You'll coordinate both reactive works and planned preventative maintenance, ensuring requests are triaged effectively, urgent issues are resolved swiftly, and service disruptions are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.
Day-to-day, you will line-manage and empower a team of two Facilities Administrators, fostering a positive, inclusive, and values-led culture through coaching and training. You'll also act as the crucial bridge between our clinical, retail, and rehoming site teams and our external contractors. This means identifying the right technical experts for the job, deploying them effectively, and closely monitoring their performance against agreed service levels.
System management is a key component of this role. You will manage our CAFM system to log and track jobs, analyze data to identify recurring trends, and produce reports that drive better decision-making. Working closely with the Health & Safety team, your vigilance will ensure our spaces remain secure, compliant, and well-maintained while delivering excellent value for money. You will have a deep understanding of CAFM systems and how they can be used and further developed to offer a better service to our internal customers.
This is a fixed term role until March 2027. It is a hybrid role with two days a week based out of Victoria pet hospital. There will also be occasional travel to other sites.
About you:
You are a highly organized, service-oriented professional who stays calm and communicates clearly, even when juggling competing priorities or navigating urgent situations. Taking ownership of an issue and seeing it through to resolution is second nature to you. You will have a working knowledge of CAFM or similar service management systems, and know how to get the most out of them to improve our ways of working.

Reporting to the Head of Public Fundraising, but working across the wider department and beyond, this role will:
- Lead our first Supporter Experience Strategy, uniting teams across the organisation.

About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a Legacy and In Memory Marketing Manager to help grow and deliver WWF-UK’s legacy and in memory fundraising programme. This role will lead the planning and delivery of engaging multi-channel marketing activity that inspires supporters to consider leaving a gift in their will or giving in memory, helping to build long-term support for our mission.
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of campaigns across direct mail, digital, events and web, working closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications and data teams, as well as external agencies. Alongside delivering high-quality campaigns, you’ll play an important role in strengthening supporter journeys, embedding best practice in legacy marketing and championing legacy and in memory giving across the organisation.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys combining creative thinking with strong planning, analysis and collaboration to deliver meaningful supporter engagement.

About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a Senior Media Manager (News) to help shape WWF-UK’s news agenda and deliver high-impact media coverage that supports our mission. This role leads the delivery of proactive and reactive news strategies, securing high-profile coverage across national, regional and specialist media outlets and ensuring WWF’s voice is clear, credible and influential.
Working closely with colleagues across science, conservation, policy and campaigns, you will guide how WWF shows up in the news cycle, providing strong editorial judgement and ensuring timely, well-messaged responses to a fast-moving external environment.
