About this job

We’re looking for a proactive Production Manager to drive the planning, coordination and delivery of digital, creative and content projects that support our engagement goals.

This is a key delivery role within our Digital delivery and planning team as part of the Engagement department. You will help to traffic and coordinate a wide range of small‑to‑medium projects, ensuring work is well‑planned, on track and clearly communicated.

You’ll play an important role in stakeholder management, keeping projects within agreed timeframes and resourcing constraints, while supporting the smooth flow of work across our department.

You’ll work closely with digital project managers and specialists within our team and stakeholders across the organisation, helping turn ideas into high‑quality output.

What you will do

You’ll be responsible for:

• Reviewing incoming briefs and leading an effective triage process to ensure work is prioritised, scoped and resourced appropriately
• Working closely with people across the team to ensure we communicate effectively with teams who commission work with us, from across the organisation
• Account management and monitoring of progress, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders at every stage
• Managing the day‑to‑day traffic, our production inbox and updates, scheduling and coordination of projects, working together with people across our department and external suppliers
• Supporting the digital project managers and senior leads by:
  • Developing and maintaining project plans and scope of work outlines
  • Writing up meeting notes and actions
  • Undertaking basic risk assessments and reporting 
• End‑to‑end coordination and management of smaller projects where relevant
• Effective resource management, reporting and evaluation to inform better planning
• Driving continuous improvement in production workflows, helping to embed consistent, efficient and scalable processes across the team
• Supporting with the running of the quarterly planning cycle, including team coordination and communications to all relevant stakeholders across the organisation
• Monitoring and reporting on progress

Who we are looking for

• Experience coordinating or managing digital, content or creative projects
• Confidence juggling multiple workstreams and keeping projects on track
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with project management or workflow tools
• Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working collaboratively with creatives and stakeholders
• An interest in digital delivery, planning, content production and continuous improvement

About the Role:

You will provide high quality support to all victims and witnesses of crime and Anti-Social Behaviour, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also you will contribute to cover for the Helpline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for service users referred in to the service, completing comprehensive impact and risks assessments using agreed processes and a tailoring the response to each individual's needs.
• Manage a caseload of service users who require more immediate and short term interventions, referring on those with more long term needs either internally or externally.
• Develop support plans where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service and provide accurate and timely performance information for internal and external use.
• Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns including both child protection and vulnerable adult issues.
• Ensure that everyone is aware of their rights under the Victim's Code of Practice and the Witness Charter..
• Comply and keep up to date with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including data protection legislation, confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all outcomes and Key Performance Measures are met relevant to the local contract.

Ideally you will have:

• Experience of delivering a service and working directly with service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting
• Experience of working in an outcomes focused service
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system and the impact of crime
• Knowledge and understanding of Domestic Abuse processes and services
• Experience of engaging with vulnerable victims of crime who may have complex needs

• Develop engaging promotion of new opportunities to Associates to increase the number and diversity of applicants.

• Work with the Programmes team to encourage Associates to apply for and participate in the Exclusive Opportunities programmes.

EXCLUSIVES OPPORTUNITIES PARTNERSHIPS MANAGEMENT:

• Take ownership of a small portfolio of upReach's existing exclusive opportunities partnerships, managing day-to-day relationships with support and guidance from the Exclusives Programmes and Partnerships Manager.

• Support the Exclusives PM in managing their broader portfolio, including relationship stewardship, partner communications, and coordination of activity.

• Collaborate with Partnerships Managers to review and renew employer partners collaborating with upReach on work experience and internship programmes.

• Assist the Exclusives Programmes and Partnerships Manager in high-quality prospecting and relationship-building activity, contributing to income-generating partnerships that also deliver high-impact opportunities for Associates.

• Collaborate closely with the Exclusives Programmes and Partnerships Manager and the Marketing & Communications team to co-create high-quality content and campaigns that showcase our partnerships - including case studies and social media promotion.

• Contribute to impact reporting for the partnership portfolio by gathering data and stories that demonstrate partnership outcomes and drive continued engagement.

Based at the Waste and Recycling Visitor and Education Centre, you’ll design and deliver engaging education programmes, community outreach and digital learning that drive positive behaviour change. Working closely with local authorities and partners, this is a hands‑on role where your work will make a visible difference to places and people every day.

Working as part of Groundwork’s Local Projects Team, you’ll be based at the unique Waste and Recycling Visitor & Education Centre (WRVEC), run by SUEZ on behalf of local authorities and coordinated by Groundwork. From here, you’ll design and deliver engaging education activities for schools, community groups, residents and businesses, both at the centre and out in the community.

You’ll work closely with Gateshead, Sunderland and South Tyneside Councils and a wide range of partners to raise awareness of waste and recycling issues, encourage positive behaviour change, and expand the reach of the education centre through creative marketing, outreach and digital learning.

This is a varied, hands‑on role combining education delivery, community engagement, partnership working and project development. This role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to make a real environmental impact.

• Delivering waste and recycling education sessions in person and online

Purpose and scope

You’ll be part of the policy and campaigns team, responsible for ensuring they maintain its position as a credible, influential stakeholder in the eyes of government, NHS systems and their physician members.  

You’ll join the organisation just as it publishes a new strategy and decides new areas of policy focus. You’ll play a critical role in developing and delivering the public affairs strategy to ensure that the organisation is an effective advocate for its members.

You will lead and manage our public affairs work, designing and delivering influencing strategies and contributing your expertise to policy development and campaign planning for a range of policy issues. You’ll maintain a proactive awareness of issues within the UK health sector, politics and the media and identify opportunities for influencing and policy development. You will have demonstrable experience of developing and delivering successful influencing strategies, using a range of parliamentary influencing tactics to achieve policy change.

You will lead and manage the organisation’s stakeholder engagement. You will ensure we have the right relationships at the right level to achieve our influencing aims and maintain a network of contacts across the sector, in parliament, including political advisers, and the civil service.

You will be as comfortable speaking to parliamentarians and briefing senior leaders for meetings as you are writing consultation responses and policy briefings. You will be able to engage with the policy detail, while appreciating the bigger political picture and the organisation's place in it.

You’ll need a sharp eye for detail and be able to quickly and accurately interpret and communicate complex information. You will provide the president, senior officers and senior staff with public affairs advice, brief them for meetings and play an active role in engaging external stakeholders in NHS systems and the wider sector yourself.

The policy and campaigns team – which is part of the wider communications, policy and research directorate – is a fast paced, collaborative and innovative environment. You will help us shape our objectives and continuously improve how we work.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a proactive awareness of issues within the UK health sector, politics and the media and identifying opportunities for influencing and policy development
• Working proactively to identify opportunities for parliamentary engagement to grow the profile of the organisation.
• Building and owning relationships with Ministers Parliamentarians, their staff and civil servants, arms-length bodies and other sector stakeholders organisations relevant to their policy and campaigns aims.
• Providing public affairs advice to senior officers and staff, as well as their boards, committees and other activities as appropriate
• Managing a robust horizon scanning and political intelligence monitoring service to the senior officers, senior staff and the organisation as a whole.
• Owning a policy portfolio and developing proactive and reactive policy positions, working in partnership with senior officers, their members, communications colleagues and other staff and organisations. 
• Working flexibly and proactively without close supervision, undertaking a range of work such as writing briefings, letters, policy positions and consultation responses.
• Working with the media team to develop our client's voice with communications approaches that ensure high impact for their influencing and campaigns work.
• Preparing senior officers and staff for stakeholder meetings, supporting them in those meetings and yourself representing the organisation at meetings and events.
• Managing an adviser and developing them to the best of their ability.
• Any other duties commensurate with your post, including deputising for the head of policy and campaigns and executive/deputy directors of communications, policy and research, and managing budgets.

Experience

• Play a significant role internally and externally in communicating the organisation’s policy position, raising organisational brand.
