This is a key role with the potential to shape the UK’s research and policy narratives on race and inequalities with one of the country’s leading think tanks on race and social justice. You will bring extensive experience in leading a diversely skilled communications team, a track record of dealing with politically sensitive communications issues, and a deep understanding and passion for our work in furthering racial justice.

You demonstrate an aptitude for collaborative teamwork and the ability to work independently on your initiative. It is expected that the postholder will be inspired by the work of USPG and in agreement with its Christian ethos and that they will be comfortable writing in a way which reflects this.

The Head of Partnerships will play a key role in managing Inter Mediate's relationships with institutional donors, foundations, governments and philanthropic partners. You have excellent written communication skills, strong project management skills, and superb interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Role Overview
The Head of Partnerships and Development will lead Multibank Scotland’s partnership and development activity.
This is a senior, outward-facing role for someone who can identify opportunities, make clear and compelling asks, build trust quickly and turn ideas into practical partnerships. We are looking for someone who creates momentum and follows opportunities through, rather than someone focused solely on networking or stakeholder management.
The role will lead the day-to-day development pipeline across corporate partnerships, product supply, strategic relationships, expansion opportunities, funding proposals and supporter stewardship.

As part of our annual leave policy, all employees receive three additional days of annual leave on top of their standard allocation of 25 days. These days are designated to cover the period when our UK office closes at the end of the calendar year, allowing all UK WaterAiders to take a well-deserved break.
These days are automatically scheduled and cannot be changed or moved. Annual leave is accrued based on your start date. If sufficient leave has not been accrued by the time of the closure, the 3 days will be taken as unpaid leave or pro-rated, depending on your circumstances.

We are looking for a communications officer on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover an internal secondment within our team. You will be an enthusiastic, creative individual who wants to pursue a career in communications. You will be excited by the prospect of improving and maximising our communications impact.
