Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain application components using Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and related technologies.
· Implement user interface elements and application logic in line with existing designs and patterns.
· Collaborate closely with your product owner, testers, and other team members to understand requirements and contribute to user-focused solutions.
· Participate fully in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) and work within agreed sprint commitments.
· Apply established MOD standards for security, accessibility, and performance across all development tasks. Take part in estimating, code reviews, testing, and documentation to support quality and maintainability.
· Contribute ideas for improvements and raise technical issues through the team’s established processes.
· Resolve bugs and minor enhancements raised by the Service Operations Team, prioritised and assigned to sprints as part of the development workflow.
· Suggest improvements and raise technical issues through established team processes.
· Continue developing knowledge of Oracle APEX and best practices through day-to-day delivery and supported learning.

Key Purpose
The Safeguarding Manager is a pivotal leadership position at RABI, responsible for spearheading the organisation’s dedication to safeguarding and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone connected to our work. You will lead the operational development, implementation, and oversight of RABI’s safeguarding policies and procedures, while line-managing and mentoring the Safeguarding Officer.

External Engagement & Collaboration
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with safeguarding bodies, regulatory authorities, and sector partners.
- Represent RABI at external safeguarding forums, networks, and working groups.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in Volunteering, Fundraising, Partnerships, and Service Delivery to embed safeguarding into all projects and services.
- Ensure staff and volunteers fully understand escalation routes and safeguarding expectations.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) in a complex organisation.
- Proven experience in leading, managing, and developing a team within a safeguarding or related operational context.
- Up-to-date specialist safeguarding training for adults and children.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance, and trauma-informed approaches to practice.
- Strong risk assessment skills, with ability to manage complex cases and make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication, report-writing, and record-keeping skills.
- Experience providing safeguarding support and guidance to staff and volunteers working with at-risk adults, children, and families.
- Proficiency with safeguarding data recording systems.
- Highly organised, with ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, capable of influencing and engaging diverse stakeholders.
Desirable:

Overall Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to manage great quality, high impact marketing, brand and communications to support our funding, fundraising and supporter goals liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
· Lead the day-to-day running and strategic direction of the charity in line with the Board’s vision.

· Maintain and forge new community partnerships (e.g. with voluntary organisations, NGO’s, other charities and social enterprises) to enhance volunteering, education, and wellbeing services.
· Spearhead the development of our IT Platform, focusing on a robust website and a Beneficiary Management System (CRM) for efficient reporting, data capture, and engagement.
· Oversee digital marketing and communications, including newsletters and social media content.

- Highly Personable & Engaging: The ability to build strong relationships with staff, volunteers, beneficiaries, and partners is critical.
- Management & Leadership: Proven experience managing staff and leading the operational delivery of projects and programmes. A resilient, determined and confident team player, comfortable with making decisions and highly customer focused coupled with demonstrable people management skills.
- IT Literate: Comfortable managing and driving the development of digital tools and systems (e.g., Google Workspace, CRM, Quickbooks, Trello, Excel).
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexibly in terms of hours and location, with a base in South Wales.
- Presentation and Reporting Skills: Excellent presentation and reporting skills are essential, as you will be required to present to the community and beneficiaries and be able to write effective reports to the Board of Trustees and Funders.
- Project Planning: Experience of supporting the creation of project plans, including prioritisation and scheduling of conflicting tasks and effective use of available resources and budgets.
Desirable Experience
- Third Sector Knowledge: Experience working professionally within a charity or non-profit organisation.

Mae Marauders Men's Health yn elusen ddeinamig yn Ne Cymru sy'n ymroddedig i wella iechyd, lles a ffitrwydd meddyliol dynion trwy gysylltiad a chefnogaeth. Ni yw'r gymuned lle gall dynion gerdded, siarad, a thyfu gyda'i gilydd, wedi'i ategu gan y model Pum Ffordd i Les (Connect, Be Active, Give, Take Notice, Learn).
Rydym wedi sefydlu sylfeini cadarn, gan gynnwys cyllid wedi'i sicrhau gan Gronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Fawr dros dair blynedd, Bwrdd llawn o Ymddiriedolwyr, a rhaglen gynyddol o 8 digwyddiad bob wythnos, gan gynnwys Cerdded a Sgyrsiau a Hybiau Chwaraeon.
