Role purpose:
To play a pivotal role in growing income from trusts, foundations and statutory funders by proactively identifying opportunities, cultivating high-value relationships and developing compelling funding proposals that align with Earthwatch's strategic priorities. This role will focus on raising funds from trusts and foundations, working closely with the Director to meet organisational funding targets.
Key deliverables:
Relationship Development and Management:
- Identify and develop new funding opportunities and build relationships with trust, foundation and statutory funders at a senior level.
- Manage all aspects of the trusts and foundations fundraising cycle, including prospect research, application development, stewardship, retention and long-term funder engagement.
- Cultivate relationships with other charitable organisations to expand Earthwatch’s network of partners and collaborate on joint environmental initiatives.
- Maintain excellent stewardship of funders through regular communication, impact reporting and relationship management, supporting long-term engagement and repeat funding.
- Represent Earthwatch at donor and networking events.
Proposal Writing and Grant Applications:
- Lead the preparation of compelling funding proposals, tailored to meet the specific interests and priorities of potential funders.
- Ensure proposals are timely, impactful, and demonstrate clear outcomes.
- Work closely with the Finance team to develop accurate project budgets, ensuring all proposals are cost-effective and financially viable.
- Manage a portfolio of prospects and funding opportunities, contributing to agreed annual income targets.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Oversee the end-to-end grant management process, including timely submission of progress reports and financial narratives to ensure full compliance with donor requirements.
- Maintain a comprehensive reporting process via the CRM, providing accurate income generation updates, dashboards, and pipeline forecasts.
Collaboration and Team Support:
- Work closely with colleagues across the organisation, particularly the Income Generation, Programmes, Communications, and Finance teams, to ensure that funding proposals and reports are aligned with Earthwatch’s programs and objectives.
In undertaking these roles, the postholder should also have regard to:
- Acting as an ambassador for the work, vision and values of Earthwatch Europe.
- Ensuring continuous development of skills and knowledge required for the post, undergoing training and performance review as required.
- Working within all the policies and procedures of Earthwatch Europe, ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and all legal and contractual obligations associated with the post.

As a Shop Manager for Alder Hey Children’s Charity, you will deliver sales, Gift Aid and profit targets to generate income for our charity. You will empower and lead a diverse shop team, including volunteers, always demonstrating our Charity Values of:

The Shop Manager will be an integral part of the wider Charity team.
Income Generation
- Accountable for the shop’s performance in relation to all sales targets and Gift Aid targets and KPI’s. Ensuring that the results are communicated to the shop team and that all staff and volunteers are aware of, understand and are working to meet/exceed the agreed targets and KPI’s.
- Actively drive stock generation through community engagement and donor relationships
- Ensure maximum stock availability through effective stock control and shop replenishment.
- Continually review the rotation, quality, and replenishment of stock in order to maximise sales.

- Maximise the shop’s opening hours and ensure the shop is open and managed by the shop team in the managers absence.
- Accountable for planning the shop rota, including both shop staff and volunteers to ensure cover at all times.
- Ensures that the new staff members and volunteers are provided with the appropriate induction process and training for their role.
- Provide and support ongoing training and development.
- Train and develop shop staff and volunteers in customer service standards, operating standards and retailing skills.
- To work and treat staff and stakeholders in accordance with the Charity’s values

The Role

The Crisis Space is an out of hours service that creates a safe space for adults to access timely compassionate support from trained recovery workers.
The Service Manager will have responsibility to line manage two Team Leaders, and overall leadership for the staff team working within the service. Child Bereavement UK is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role will play a vital part in helping Child Bereavement UK turn up the dial across our corporate partnerships fundraising.
As our Corporate Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Corporate & Commercial team to grow income from new and existing corporate partners, commercial collaborations and wider business development opportunities.

This role will join an ambitious programme developing the capacity of the Libraries Connected public library networks. The role is part of a small team of two Regional Managers, supported by an Administrator.
By developing our existing regional networks into formal, resourced structures we can enable the regions to:
- Secure investment for the service and for the libraries from regional and devolved / combined authority funds.
- Create unique regional offers to meet specific needs across and within the regional areas.
- Deliver at scale. For example, the Yorkshire & Humber regional network has 15 library services, and 348 library buildings.
- Create opportunities for cost saving – through joint procurement and shared / collaborative services.
- Share good practice and experience on a formal and integrated basis.
We have 9 regional networks in England, covering all library services and ranging in size from 9 to 33 services. Within each region they provide hundreds of library branches, thousands of staff, and serve millions of service users. They have a long tradition of working together as peer support networks and to deliver activities such as festivals, marketing, and staff training.

Pathway's Business Development Manager plays a key role in our small core team, working with staff across the organisation to develop our offers to NHS partners and building and managing relationships with external funders and partners from the statutory, charity and corporate sectors. Reporting to the Chief Executive the postholder plays a leading role in developing strategies to increase our impact, diversify our revenue streams and support the spread and replication of evidence-based models of care and service improvements, emerging from Pathway’s own work and our wide inclusion health networks.
The main tasks are:
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
Research and identify opportunities to spread Pathway's models of improved care, including new routes to NHS commissioners, budget holders, and innovative funding mechanisms. With senior support, identify target contacts and generate leads to develop and diversify Pathway's revenue streams and carry out planning to adapt to the external environment.
2. Grant Writing & Funding Applications
Lead and co-ordinate the development of high-quality grant applications and service business cases, working across Pathway's teams to gather evidence, articulate impact, and make compelling cases for support to NHS commissioners and Trusts, charitable foundations, and corporate partners.
3. Relationship Management
Build, manage and track relationships with NHS commissioners, system partners, clinical champions, corporate partners and funders through new and existing mechanisms. Represent Pathway externally, developing a deep understanding of commissioners' and funders’ needs, and propose ways Pathway can plan to meet them. Help staff, Fellows, and close partners to understand these needs and how Pathway may need to change in response.
4. Marketing & Communications
Work with the Communications Manager to develop promotional campaigns and marketing materials that increase Pathway's impact and externally generated income. Maintain a strong working knowledge of Pathway's care innovations and service models, and promote these in an NHS-appropriate style. Keep abreast of developments in the NHS to ensure Pathway's communications and marketing activities connect with current health service concerns.

Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest, working in partnership with Turning Point and Antidote, provide the City and Hackney Integrated Recovery Service (Substance Use). The service is based in each of City and Hackney’s neighbourhoods in order to be accessible, local and inclusive. A full integrated service will contribute to recovery, social inclusion and improving the quality of life of all our service users in the City of London and Hackney borough. A full integrated service, shaped by the community needs and voices of service users, carers, families, communities, all staff and volunteers will contribute to recovery, social inclusion and improving the quality of life of all our service users in the City of London and Hackney borough.
The service has three elements: Out There, Everywhere- specialist outreach, in reach and engagement, Building Blocks- low, medium and hi intensity support pathways, and Get Connected- building on our local, individual, and shared assets to provide recovery capital and peer support.
This role will connect the staff teams and service users to wellbeing opportunities within the local community. The role will promote the City & Hackney Recovery Service within the local community through events, social media and local community engagement. They will identify the needs of the client group and provide adequate support.
This role will lead on management of subcontractors, coordinate quarterly contract monitoring and build partnerships including commissioners, GPs, politicians, and other stakeholders to increase collaborative and effective service in City and Hackney’s neighbourhoods. The role will also lead to support MindCHWF’s policies and delivery in the blended service in order to provide efficient and high-quality service.
Job Role:
1. Nurture external partnerships across specific areas and being responsible for overseeing and ensuring all appropriate pathways are in place and reviewed
2. Maintain and enhance appropriate key relationships with statutory and VCS partners who co-locate/joint work with or refer into the service
3. Lead on expanding the partnership network on an ongoing basis by identifying opportunities to streamline delivery and maximise joint working

23. Lead on changes to the service website, review this site and consider how we could optimise promoting the service this way.
24. Lead on liaison with TP External Affairs and Marketing teams. Create and manage a service promotion plan.
25. Lead on negotiating, writing, collating and storing all MOU’s, RA’s ISA’s and all other written agreements with partner agencies relating to co-location and joint working.
26. Manage the service’s digital footprint including google reviews, and control or delegate the management of the service’s social media channels to boost our digital engagement with the local community.
27. Create a regular C&H Recovery Service newsletter to share with partners and stakeholders.
28. Engage with local media and politicians where appropriate to promote the service and position the service effectively politically within the borough.
29. Oversee the work we do with commissioners and public health teams on the PH Van and Hot Spot Activity including attending meetings relating to these with the council. Ensure a rota and staffing is organised for these outreach exercises months in advance.
30. Continue to manage the contracts and joint-working agreements with the GPSC scheme and our separate GP alcohol satellites with a view to setting up at least two more GP satellites in the borough.

Ocean Generation is a UNESCO-endorsed Ocean education charity turning Science into Storytelling. We make Ocean Literacy accessible through film, pop-culture, and education programmes that empower practical action. Established in 2009 by film producer Jo Ruxton MBE, our award-winning documentary ‘A Plastic Ocean’, was named by Sir David Attenborough as “one of the most important films of our time” and ignited mass public awareness about the impact of plastic pollution. As our Partnerships Manager, you'll help secure the funding that enables more people around the world to understand, value and act for the Ocean.
Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, ambitious charity where you'll have genuine ownership of a portfolio of corporate partners and trust funders while helping to shape Ocean Generation's fundraising strategy and long-term growth.
Account Management & Stewardship
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners and selected trusts and foundations, delivering excellent relationship management, stewardship and reporting.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality partnership reports, impact updates and funding reports that demonstrate the value of support and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Act as the Funding Relationship Lead for their portfolio, ensuring reporting commitments, stewardship activity and internal coordination are managed throughout the life of each partnership or grant.
- Identify opportunities to renew, grow and enhance existing partnerships, maximising income and engagement.
- Maintain accurate partnership activity, reporting deadlines and pipeline information within Salesforce, monitor partnership performance, manage the fundraising pipeline, and contribute to income forecasting and pipeline reporting.
- In addition to partnership management responsibilities, manage community fundraising activities and events when required, contributing to the wider fundraising programme.
Business Development & Income Generation
- Develop and secure new corporate partnerships by identifying, cultivating and converting prospective supporters into long-term partners.
- Prepare compelling funding proposals, partnership pitches and applications tailored to corporate and trust funding opportunities.
- Develop attractive ESG partnership opportunities and other funding propositions that align with Ocean Generation's mission and strategic priorities.
- Work closely with the Co-Executive Director (Partnerships) and Philanthropy Lead to identify, develop and secure strategic fundraising opportunities.
Partnership Activation & Organisational Collaboration
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to develop engaging partnership opportunities and ensure the successful delivery of partner benefits.
- Work with the Communications team to create partnership resources, campaigns, newsletters and impact content/case studies that strengthen engagement and increase visibility.
- Ensure fundraising activity complies with charity regulations, fundraising best practice, and Ocean Generation's values and ethical standards.
- Contribute as a proactive member of a small, agile team, supporting colleagues and identifying opportunities to maximise the impact and profile of fundraising activity.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Experience in corporate fundraising, partnerships, business development/sales or account management.
- Proven ability to secure, manage and grow fundraising partnerships to achieve income targets.
- Excellent relationship management, communication and proposal writing skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with experience using a CRM and managing multiple priorities.
- Commercially minded, proactive and able to work independently within a small team.
- Confident interpreting budgets and fundraising performance data.
Desirable
- Some experience working with trusts and foundations and/or major donors.
- Knowledge of ESG, CSR or corporate fundraising partnerships.
- Experience using a fundraising CRM such as Salesforce, Beacon or Raiser's Edge.
- An interest in environmental or conservation issues and a commitment to Ocean Generation's mission.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.

- Salary of £30,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- A permanent role, full-time (37.5 hours per week), with consideration given to candidates seeking a part-time equivalent over four days.

Job purpose
To grow NEYDL's earned income across two distinct strands: securing commissioned services and contracts with local authorities and other organisations in the North East; and developing a national market for NEYDL's training products and DigiDAD platform, enabling professionals and organisations across the UK to improve the support available to young dads in their communities.
Hours - Full-time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm), with occasional evening and weekend working expected to meet the needs of the charity. Four days per week considered for the right candidate.
Location - Hybrid, home-based with regular travel to Gateshead and nationally
Key responsibilities
Income generation and business development
•Identify and develop opportunities to secure commissioned services and contracts with local authorities, NHS bodies, family hubs, children’s services, early help teams and voluntary sector organisations
•Lead on the sale of NEYDL’s training products to professional audiences nationally, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
•Where relevant to other business development activity, make professionals aware of DigiDAD as a free resource and refer interested contacts to the DigiDAD Engagement Officer for onboarding and follow-up
•Develop and maintain a BD pipeline, setting annual targets in conjunction with the CEO and reporting progress to the board
•Identify new markets, audiences and partnership opportunities and make evidence-based recommendations to the CEO on where to focus BD effort.
Proposals, tenders and bids
•Lead on the development of proposals, tenders and commissioned service bids, working closely with the CEO and programme team to develop compelling cases
•Maintain awareness of relevant commissioning frameworks, procurement processes and funding opportunities that align with NEYDL’s offer
•Ensure all proposals and tenders accurately reflect NEYDL’s costs and margins and are consistent with the organisation’s financial requirements
Relationships and profile
•Build and manage relationships with commissioners, buyers, strategic partners and sector networks nationally
•Represent NEYDL at sector events, conferences and networks, raising our profile with the professional audiences we want to reach
•Work collaboratively with the DigiDAD Programme Manager to align BD activity with the growth of the DigiDAD platform
•Support the launch and positioning of NEYDL’s new national brand, contributing to marketing and communications activity that supports commercial growth
Organisational leadership and management
•Contribute to organisational strategy and annual planning as a member of the senior management team
•Report on BD performance and progress against targets to the CEO and board
•Work closely with the DigiDAD Engagement Officer (managed by the DigiDAD Programme Manager) to ensure a joined-up approach to professional audience engagement

Targets
Year 1 milestones
The following milestones have been agreed with our primary Year 1 funder and represent the BDM's near-term priorities:
By six months:
- Approaches made to at least 25 contacts, including commissioners in all Family Hub areas in the North East and warm VCSE collaborators
By twelve months:
- Marketing and outreach completed with at least 100 contacts (warm and cold)
- Training delivered at least 10 times
- Indicative conversion targets achieved: approximately 3% of cold contacts and 25% of warm contacts progressing to a training booking (these are assumptions to be tested and refined through year one)
- Evaluation and review of year one learning completed; year two targets developed
Longer-term targets (to April 2029)
The following targets relate to the areas of work this role will contribute to, alongside the DigiDAD Programme Manager and wider team:
- Professionals trained through NEYDL's training products: 50 by April 2027; 350 annually by April 2029
- New professional DigiDAD registrations: 750 by April 2027; 1,400 annually by April 2029
- New young dad DigiDAD registrations: 510 by April 2027; 1,000 annually by April 2029
The Business Development Manager will play a central role in building the relationships and income pipeline that drives the training targets. DigiDAD registration growth is led by the DigiDAD Engagement Officer and wider team, with the Business Development Manager contributing through referrals identified in the course of other work.
Alongside these targets, NEYDL currently holds commissioned service contracts with several local authorities: Durham, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Gateshead. A key priority for the Business Development Manager will be to maintain and strengthen these relationships, ensuring contracts are renewed and the value of our work to each commissioner is clearly evidenced. Beyond existing contracts, we are keen to secure commissioned funding in areas of the North East where we currently have limited or no presence.
