What you do

Main purpose of post

This is an important role in the fundraising team which is responsible for identifying, developing, and converting opportunities to generate income to achieve Weston Park Cancer Charity’s strategy. This role will support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to secure income generation through corporate organisations. It carries an income target aligned to the grade of the post holder, within an overall corporate income target of over £400,000 per annum.

You will be expected to understand Weston Park Cancer Charity’s unique offer, the needs and priorities of our corporate partners and be capable of taking our propositions and clearly shaping them to create mutual value for the communities we support and our partners.

Key Responsibilities

 · Responsible for an income target of which aligns with the grade of the post, contributing to an overall corporate income target of over £4000k pa.

· Delivers income growth through gifts from corporates, workplace fundraising and public facing corporate donations.

· Support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager in developing and implementing a comprehensive corporate partnership strategy which is data driven and demonstrates strong ROI.

· Develop and deliver concepts and ideas, from early discussion through to detailed proposals, working with colleagues across the charity. 

· Contribute to maximising sponsorship of our key programmes such as Big Purple Bus and Grant-Giving for cancer research and other initiatives.

· Write detailed, accurate and compelling bids and proposals that clearly articulate how Weston Park Cancer Charity are the preferred choice to meet the partner and project objectives for Charity of the Year or long-term strategic partnerships.

· Work with our events team to promote opportunities for corporate partners to support the annual events programme e.g. tables at events , team challenge events

· Succinctly communicate the impact of our work, ensuring it inspires and clearly matches the requirements of potential corporate partners and major donors.

· Be a key interface for external corporate enquiries and act as an external ambassador, undertaking significant networking across the region and representing the charity at key meetings and events.

· Be responsible for the management of an agreed number of accounts, providing excellent relationship management.

· Ensure that the resource and capability exist to deliver partner/funder requirements and proactively identify and seek to fill any gaps.

· Ensure we collect detailed and continuous feedback so that we learn from experience and effectively evaluate both successful and unsuccessful funding proposals and initiatives.

· Develop and maintain a prospect pipeline that is realistically capable of meeting agreed income targets and reflects both the strategic priorities of Weston Park Cancer Chairty and the external funding priorities of our corporate partners

· Maximise Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) opportunities, work place fundraising and volunteering, and Gifts in Kind.

The engagement directorate is responsible for growing awareness, trust and engagement with Breast Cancer Now - so more people get support and give support. It leads the £47m we raise annually today and our ambition to grow this to £69m by 2029/30, alongside a new £60m Campaign.

Cerebra understands that if you have a child that doesn’t sleep, the whole family suffers. Many children with neurological conditions suffer from disrupted sleep. Our sleep advice service provides bespoke advice and support so that everyone can get a good night’s sleep.

Legal Rights Service

Our Legal Rights Service provides help and support to families of children with neurological conditions when they are faced with barriers and difficulties in accessing statutory support services they are entitled to. The service provides information on their legal entitlements.

Book and Toy Library Service

Our specialist postal lending library contains a wide range of books for both adults and children, plus a selection of sensory toys specifically chosen for children with a neurological condition.

Innovation and Product Design Service

Our Innovation Service designs and builds bespoke products that cater to the specific needs of children with neurological conditions. The aim of the service is to make products that are desirable and exciting, therefore promoting social inclusion, peer acceptance and enabling children to participate in everyday activities that are so often close to them.

Information Products

Cerebra publishes different information products to help families with a child with a neurological condition. Our information products offer comprehensive, up-to-date support and research-driven strategies to assist families with a wide range of issues.

Buzgi and Toy Adaptation Service

Cerebra designs and builds bespoke assistive equipment for disabled children, this includes creating custom mobility aids, switch‑adapted toys, and other innovative solutions to help children access play, learning, and independence.

The Bugzi - a mini powered wheelchair for children offers many children their first experience of independent mobility. It uses either a joystick or switches and adaptable seating for complex needs, and helps develop spatial awareness, confidence, and early mobility skills. The Bugzi is available through a national loan scheme.

Additionally, we operate commercial services (including a web shop) to supplement our income to support children and their families.

To enable Operation Smile’s global surgical activities, OSUK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors, community fundraisers and trusts and foundations.

We have created an exciting new position in our team for an ambitious and confident relationship fundraiser. Working as part of the Partnership Team and line managing one Partnerships Officer, the Partnerships Manager position will secure critical income from new and existing corporate partners through compelling pitches and excellent stewardship.

The position will build on existing partner relationships with high-profile businesses like Superdrug, the Perfume Shop and Johnson & Johnson, aiming to grow their contributions, as well as making approaches to new prospects in relevant sectors, working closely with the Director of Partnerships.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Corporate Partnerships Development

• Ensure achievement of annual income target for corporate partnerships
• Take primary responsibility for managing the current pool of medium and large corporate partnerships, including global partners (working with Operation Smile Inc), to ensure their growth and longevity – strategic input into the growth of each partner will be essential
• Develop and implement plans for partner activity to maximise all income channels, including corporate philanthropy, employee engagement, cause-related marketing and more
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of new corporate fundraising prospects, creating propositions/proposals and making approaches, working with the Director of Partnerships
• Enhance our employee engagement and community fundraising offer with simple, easy-to-do fundraising activities, linked to key moments in the calendar

Overview

Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) is a pioneering charity aiming to improve the health, wellbeing, educational attainment and employability skills of the local community.

CACT are seeking two enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced individuals to deliver a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Flexible Support Fund employability programme, focusing on 16–24-year-olds living in Greenwich and Bexley who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). In collaboration with the DWP, CACT Employability Officer/s will design and deliver a ‘Youth Hub’ offer to support and guide young people to into Education, Employment or Training opportunities.

Job Purpose

· To work as a member of the ‘DWP Youth Hub’ project team to engage and enable young people to reach their full potential with education, training and employment opportunities.

· The project will provide one-to-one mentoring sessions with wraparound support.

· The postholder will identify and recruit a caseload of young people to support into and sustain their engagement in Education, Employment and Training.

· The programme will provide an opportunity for young people not in education, training or employment in Greater London area to access training and work experience to enable them to attain the skills and confidence to gain employment.

· The post holder will have a broad range of experience in building relationships with individuals from a range of backgrounds, alongside an ability to build and maintain relationships with employers.

· The post holder will co-ordinate and deliver one to one and group coaching sessions. Sessions will address essential skills for employment and provide practical support, interview coaching, careers information and guidance.

· The post holder will facilitate and / or signpost to wellbeing workshops and physical activity sessions to develop improved mindset, healthy lifestyles, mental health and self‐care. Working with multi-agency partners the post holder will seek to identify the barriers that have prevented young people from engaging in education and employment and help them to develop strategies to overcome these challenges

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

· To provide one to one and group employability coaching sessions; in the community and online, enabling participants to identify, assess, and address barriers to engaging with education, employment, and training, as well as sourcing the most appropriate support.

· Work with young people to understand their strengths and develop person centred, targeted plans to help them achieve positive outcomes. Create individualised progress plans, which include identification of the wraparound support that needs to be provided (e.g., support to access housing or mental health services).

· Work closely with community groups and agencies such as Skills Academies Hubs, Local Integration Hubs, Job Centre Plus, to identify and recruit young people that would benefit most from the programme.

· Support a caseload and develop, contribute to, and deliver interventions to engage young people in education training and employment.

· To develop relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that a suitably diverse life skills and employability offer that meets young people’s needs and abilities.

· To work with local key worker support service to address any barriers to inclusion for young people they are working with.

· As required contribute to multi-agency planning and assessments of young people

· To identify meaningful work placement opportunities for young people internally and externally through partnerships with local businesses, and to manage and support work placements through work placement visits

· To maintain oversight of young people participating in work placements to help them settle in, meet the expectations of their employer or training / education provider, perform at their best, and achieve their action plan goals.

· Regularly review and monitor the progress of young people on the programme and guide interventions / wraparound support.

· Maintain a record of distance travelled which demonstrates how far the participant has travelled since joining the project, for example, in terms of personal development, increased confidence, and greater levels of motivation.

· To maintain a working knowledge of education, safeguarding and effective practice in supporting young people into education, training and employment.

· Attend training events, supervision meetings and other team, formal and informal meetings as required to contribute to professional, service and self-development.

Schools North East is approaching its 20th year as the region’s dedicated, independent voice for schools. Over that time, we have grown into a highly successful, dynamic and influential charity, representing over 1,150 schools in the North East and 400 specialist schools nationally.

We are now recruiting a highly motivated Deputy Events Manager to join our small but very successful team to provide maternity cover on a fixed-term basis for up to 12 months. This is an important delivery role within Schools North East, supporting the Events Manager to plan and deliver a high-quality events programme that provides practical support, insight and connection for schools across the North East and beyond.

The role requires someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership of allocated events from planning through to evaluation. You will support the delivery of a diverse programme of conferences, webinars, roundtables, training sessions and stakeholder events, helping to ensure that every event is well-run, financially sound, professionally delivered and valued by delegates, speakers, sponsors and partners.

This is a hands-on role in a busy team. You will need to work at pace, manage multiple deadlines, solve problems calmly and build strong working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, venues, speakers, sponsors and school leaders. You will also contribute ideas to improve the events programme, support income generation through delegate engagement, sponsorship and exhibitor activity, and help maintain the high standards associated with Schools North East events.

The Role

The Deputy Events Manager will support the Events Manager in the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of Schools North East’s annual events programme. The role will take responsibility for allocated events and projects, ensuring that each one is delivered to a high standard, on time, within agreed budgets and in line with the charity’s strategic priorities.

This is a key operational role within the Events team. You will work across conferences, online events, webinars, roundtables, training sessions, stakeholder events and other activities that bring together school leaders, business professionals, policymakers, commercial partners and wider education stakeholders. You will help ensure that delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors experience Schools North East events as professional, purposeful and valuable.

Working closely with the Events Manager, you will contribute to the smooth running of the events programme by managing event logistics, coordinating suppliers and venues, supporting speaker liaison, maintaining accurate event information, contributing to marketing activity, supporting sponsorship and exhibitor delivery, and ensuring strong customer service before, during and after each event.

You will also play an important role in evaluation and continuous improvement. This will include gathering feedback, reviewing delegate and sponsor experience, identifying practical improvements, and helping the Events Manager to use evidence and insight to strengthen future events.

The Events Manager retains overall accountability for the events strategy, annual programme, income targets, budgets, commercial growth and team leadership. The Deputy Events Manager will contribute to these areas by delivering allocated events effectively, supporting income-generating activity, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that operational delivery reflects the quality and ambition of Schools North East. You will also deputise in the absence of the Events Manager.

Join our team

This is an important role in the organisation, working with a team of similarly motivated and like minded people with a strong desire to succeed, make a difference and support education in our region. In your role, you will support and be supported by the wider Schools North East team, which includes a dedicated Events team, Finance & Admin team, Marketing & Communications team, and Policy team.

Key tasks will include, but are not limited to:

Event Delivery and Operations

• Lead on the planning, coordination and delivery of allocated events, from initial briefing through to post-event evaluation
• Manage event logistics, including venue arrangements, delegate information, speaker requirements, supplier coordination, event materials, AV requirements and on-the-day delivery
• Ensure allocated events are delivered on time, within agreed budgets and to a consistently high standard
• Maintain clear event plans, timelines, task lists and records, ensuring colleagues have the information they need to support delivery
• Provide excellent customer service to delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and partners before, during and after events
• Support the Events Manager in ensuring that operational processes are effective, consistent and fit for purpose across the full events programme 

Programme Support and Development

• Support the Events Manager to deliver a comprehensive annual events programme aligned with Schools North East’s strategic priorities
• Contribute practical ideas for event content, formats, speakers, delegate engagement and continuous improvement
• Use delegate feedback, event data and stakeholder insight to help identify opportunities to strengthen the programme
• Support the development of online, hybrid and face-to-face events, ensuring that each format is well planned and professionally delivered
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure events reflect current priorities for schools and provide tangible value to members and stakeholders

Income, Sponsorship and Commercial Support

• Support the delivery of income-generating events, including delegate bookings, sponsorship packages, exhibitor activity and partner engagement
• Help identify potential sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and partners for allocated events
• Liaise professionally with sponsors and exhibitors, ensuring agreed benefits are delivered accurately and on time
• Support the Events Manager with the preparation of information needed for sponsorship, exhibitor and delegate income monitoring
• Contribute to the development of commercial opportunities while ensuring that events remain mission-aligned and credible with schools

Financial and Supplier Management

• Manage event-level budgets for allocated projects, tracking expenditure and income against agreed plans
• Obtain quotes, liaise with venues and suppliers, and support cost-effective procurement for event delivery
• Maintain accurate financial and operational records to support budget monitoring, invoicing and post-event reporting
• Support the Events Manager and Business Manager with the preparation of event information for profit and loss reporting
• Ensure contracts, purchase orders and supplier arrangements are managed in line with organisational processes 

Marketing, Communications and Engagement

• Work with the Marketing & Communications team to support effective promotion of events
• Provide accurate event information, deadlines, audience insight and content for mailers, website listings, social media and delegate communications
• Support audience engagement by helping to identify target groups, school networks and stakeholder contacts for allocated events
• Ensure delegate communications are clear, timely and professional
• Help maintain the Schools North East brand and reputation through high-quality event materials, communications and customer service

Team Working

• Work closely with the Events Manager, Events Coordinator(s) and wider team to ensure effective delivery across the events programme
• Coordinate tasks for colleagues, temporary staff, interns or volunteers where required for specific events
• Contribute positively to a small, busy and flexible team, undertaking practical tasks as required to support the wider aims of Schools North East

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is an exciting time to join upReach as we begin a new phase of our digital transformation. We are investing in the systems, tools and ways of working that will help us support more students, improve the experience of the upReach team, and deliver our mission more effectively.

We are looking for a thoughtful, organised and motivated Junior Digital Transformation Manager to join the Product Team and play an important role in turning this ambition into practical, lasting change.

Technology plays a central role in how we support students, collaborate with partners and operate as an organisation. Working with the Director of Product, colleagues in the Product Team and teams across upReach, you will help deliver our digital transformation strategy. 

You will coordinate projects from initial discovery and planning through to implementation, training and continuous improvement. You will work closely with internal users, technology suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure digital changes are practical, inclusive, well-managed and aligned with organisational needs.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to significant organisation-wide projects at an early stage, helping to shape how upReach uses technology in the years ahead.

You do not need to have previously worked in a digital transformation role. You may have developed relevant experience through project coordination, operations, process improvement, technology implementation, product management or another role involving organisational change.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving how things work and helping people use technology confidently.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

You will support the delivery of upReach’s digital transformation strategy by helping teams adopt better tools, systems and ways of working, including the responsible use of AI.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the rollout and adoption of new digital tools, systems and AI-enabled solutions.

• Supporting digital transformation projects from planning through to implementation and review.

• Working with teams across upReach to understand their workflows, challenges and technology needs.

• Identifying opportunities to use AI and automation to improve efficiency, quality and user experience.

• Gathering and summarising feedback from users during testing, rollout and post-launch.

About the role 

We’re looking for a Senior Content Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. What you’ll be working on: 

• Regularly planning and producing content for the CharityJob blogs. 

• Updating the content calendar with article revisions and new content in line with business needs, seasonal trends and sector updates.

• Continually monitoring and maintaining our existing blog content, including optimising performance, working with our external agency to fill content gaps and conducting keyword research to improve organic content reach. 

• Leading on SEO across the organisation, including managing our relationship with our external agency, acting on their recommendations and liaising with our in-house development team. 

• Working closely with the Senior CRM Manager to write copy for promotional and service emails and trigger campaigns. 

• Working closely with our external agency to manage digital PR campaigns to raise awareness of CharityJob and our products with trade, local and national press. 

• Editing product copy to make sure that the right messages and prompts appear in the right places and in the right tone of voice across our website and products to help achieve business objectives. 

• Producing supporting or customer-facing documents for our sales team. 

• Writing guides and other long-form content, and briefing designers to deliver a finished product. 

• Managing content produced for and with CharityJob’s partner organisations.

• Copyediting and proofreading copy and documents across the organisation. 
   

This job is for you if: 

• You understand the role of content marketing in the overall marketing strategy and customer journey. 

• You have excellent copywriting skills, particularly for email campaigns and landing pages. 

• You have a good knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics (AI search would be a bonus) 

• You can highlight key feature benefits in new software products and distil these into engaging content and copy.

You'll play a crucial role in supporting the administration and coordination of learning and organisational development initiatives within the Charity. Working closely with the Learning & Organisational Development team, this role ensures the smooth implementation of training programs, development initiatives, and cultural change projects across the organisation.

You'll provide efficient administrative support for learning and organisational development activities, managing the Learning Help inbox, promoting training courses/events internally, as well as developing, maintaining and supporting the LMS.

About the role

Working closely with and supported by the Head of Brand & Corporate Partnerships, you will play a vital role in identifying and securing new brand partnerships, nurturing existing relationships, and helping to deliver ambitious income and impact targets.

Job Description  

The Partnership Officer will be a key member of The Hygiene Bank’s income generation team and wider central team, with a responsibility to help meet the needs of our existing partnerships and support in fulfilling the charity’s income generation plans and strategy. 

Key Responsibilities 

You will support the management of our brand partners, working with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships. Your role will be to source new brand relationships, set up meetings for the team and support existing brand partnerships. 

• Work closely with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships to identify and outreach to target brand partners, working to engage their support for the charity

• Account management of new and existing partners 

• Meticulous record keeping, ensuring the pipeline and the opportunity database are current and up to date.

• Contribute to the organisation and team's annual plans, strategies, and budgets. 

• Develop, monitor, and maintain systems and processes including Salesforce and account management plans. 

• Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as newsletters, brochures, and partner impact reports.
