PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The post-holder will provide high-quality administrative, financial and organisational support to the Community of Our Lady of Walsingham, ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the Community's office and supporting the delivery of its mission. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● To support the Community Leader by undertaking all administrative duties related to the two properties in Dereham and Walsingham and the smooth operation of our expanding mission.
● Ability to demonstrate and exercise discretion and confidentiality in terms of all data and data subjects.
● To be a point of contact for all telephone callers and visitors, ensuring that they are welcomed with courtesy and respect and enquiries handled professionally.
● Take responsibility for maintaining and updating book-keeping systems and processes to ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and available for audit.
● Undertake monthly reconciliations to provide robust audit trails for banking, receipts and payments.
● Maintain routine updates to the Community website, including news items, events and content, liaising with external website developers where required.
● Take responsibility for maintaining and updating all data records and new implementing systems when needed.

Music as Therapy International is looking for an ambitious, creative and relationship-focused Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising as we enter an exciting new phase of our development.

About the role
As our Fundraising Manager, you will have a genuinely influential role in making that ambition possible. This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full breadth of charity operations while helping us expand access to Classics education for young people in state schools across the UK.
You'll work directly with our Chief Executive and colleagues across fundraising, communications, programme delivery and operations. Rather than being confined to a single project, you'll gain exposure to how a national charity actually works: from supporting trustee meetings and finance processes to helping run events, improving systems and maintaining our Salesforce database.
No two days are the same. One day you might be preparing papers for a trustee meeting, processing invoices or supporting organisational planning. The next you could be helping coordinate a national event, improving administrative processes or ensuring our data is accurate and up to date.
We designed this role as a developmental opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the charity, education, cultural or non-profit sectors. You'll receive support, mentoring and practical experience that will help you develop highly transferable skills in project coordination, governance, administration, finance and organisational management.
