Against Malaria Foundation (AMF) was founded in 2004 and is a charity that fights malaria in a highly effective, accountable and transparent way.

We do this by purchasing and distributing multiple millions of long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLINs) at a time in nationwide universal coverage campaigns. This is the most cost-effective way of preventing malaria. AMF receives donations from the public and in the last financial year received US$147 million and, in our history, now over US$820 million. AMF is particularly data-focused and monitors and reports on net use and drives and supports innovation to improve the effectiveness of malaria programmes.

AMF is the world’s third largest funder of nets.

AMF has been rated a top charity for all of the last 16 years by independent charity evaluators GiveWell, Giving What We Can and The Life You Can Save who focus on impact and cost-effectiveness.

We are a team of 15 highly motivated individuals with different skills and experience. Each person has an important role to play. All team members work remotely with constant communication between them. While the team is small, the impact is big - our net distributions protect millions of people. Our largest programme is in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where we are funding 52 million nets to protect 94 million people for distribution during 2025 to 2027. We have ongoing multi-million net programmes in other countries including Chad, Guinea, Nigeria, South Sudan, Togo, Uganda and Zambia.

Role Description

Our activities and commitments are steadily increasing, and 2026-2029 is expected to be a very busy period of distributions, with over ~70m nets planned for distribution in 2026 alone. In light of this, AMF is recruiting a Senior Operations Manager to join the operations team and play an important role in ensuring the success of the net distributions. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal and intellectual skills who is able to work collaboratively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking on significant responsibility by leading on several of AMF’s programmes.

The role will include involvement in all stages of a distribution campaign (pre-agreement, net procurement, post-agreement, during distribution, and post distribution) across two main areas: 

1. Work with National Malaria Control Programmes (NMCPs) and distribution partners

2. Work with AMF’s independent monitoring partners

Further information

The Senior Operations Manager will lead on several of AMF’s programmes. They will work closely with NMCPs and distribution partners, in country partners, AMF independent monitors, cofunding partners, the AMF Operations and Technology teams to ensure the success of AMF distributions. 

More specifically, they will manage the distributions through the following stages

1. Pre agreement

• Establishing the funding gap

• Establishing the net need, malaria burden, insecticide resistance data

• Working with the Ministry of Health to negotiate and put in place an agreement for the programme

2. Net procurement

• Working with AMF’s procurement lead to order nets in time for the distribution

3. Post-agreement

• After signature of the agreement, working with countries and distribution partners to put in place the plans for key elements, in particular

  • Digital data collection

  • 5% verification

  • Net tracking

• Tender for and select an independent partner for distribution monitoring, and work closely with this partner that will be AMF’s eyes and ears in country

4. During the distribution

• Track information coming from all partners

• Analyse with the support of AMF’s analytics team registration and distribution data and take actions if needed

• Account for all AMF nets

5. Post distribution

• Tender for and select an independent partner for post distribution monitoring, and work closely with this partner to carry out surveys at 0, 9, 18 and 27 months post-distribution

• Share results with in-country partners and encourage appropriate actions to be taken

Through these stages, it will be important to maintain strong relationships with the key partners, notably the National Malaria Control Programmes, distribution partners and cofunding partners to ensure that distributions are carried out according to the agreements signed between the Ministry of Health and AMF. 

These relationships will ensure that solutions can be found constructively to issues that arise during implementation of AMF’s programmes.

Aside from the areas above, there will be other work related to AMF Group Operations, dependent on the candidate’s skill set.

We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal and intellectual skills, who works collaboratively in a team and relishes responsibility and the opportunity to learn and develop their abilities. Strategic Campaign Leadership

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Senior Marketing Officer to join Kinship’s Marketing Team to help us reach more kinship carers with our support offer. You’ll bring strong experience in delivering effective, insight-driven digital marketing campaigns across channels, including social media, email, web, paid advertising and content marketing.

• Help embed a new email marketing platform to support the delivery of our email marketing strategy, including segmentation, automated journeys testing and reporting.

• Support the delivery of marketing strategies and activities to grow brand awareness and increase engagement with kinship carers and other key audiences.

• With the Head of Marketing, work with services teams to understand our target audience, and identify opportunities to integrate Kinship’s holistic support offer - including our peer support service and website advice content/ Kinship Compass - into training marketing activity where appropriate.

This role will help to build relationships with over 80 businesses across all industries including healthcare, finance, insurance, digital, sustainability and more, generating more than £420k each year to support Hospice UK’s work.

The role

You will support all aspects of Hospice UK’s commercial partnership activity, helping to build, steward and develop long‑term relationships with corporate partners, who want to collaborate with hospices. This includes working directly with organisations to secure sponsorship, exhibition space and partnership opportunities. Personalised communications will help move businesses from one‑off activity to longer‑term strategic partnerships.

A key part of the role involves conferences and events. You’ll help secure exhibitors and sponsors for our annual National Conference (1,000+ attendees) and our one‑day conferences, supporting activity from launch through to delivery, including marketing materials, pipeline management, proactive sales and administration.

About the team​

The Investment Team is responsible for selecting portfolio partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our portfolio partners to improve and scale their impact.

The Investment Team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.

The team is made up of 19 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.

The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. The Portfolio Director has 5 direct reports: a Deputy Portfolio Director, three Sector Leads (who lead our work in School engagement, School attainment and Employment Sectors) and an Impact Lead. Sector Leads line manage 6 Investment Directors. Investment Directors line manage Investment Managers (currently 6). Investment Directors and Investment Managers tend to primarily focus on a sector but might have mixed portfolios, depending on need, experience and interest.

We’re currently looking for a Senior Workplace Officer, offered on a fixed term basis of 12 months to help us deliver our mission. This a full-time position working 35 hours per week with flexible days that suit individual needs while delivering on business needs. This role will be mostly based in our London office with weekly flexibility where practical.

The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

• Act as ‘the conductor’ of our rented office and meeting room spaces working with both internal and external stakeholders to provide consistently positive, welcoming, and inclusive experience.
• Directly line managing the receptionist and the AV technician, as well as oversee temporary or permanently based contractors to meet the building resourcing needs.
• Budget management inclusive of actuate recharging, invoicing external companies, and spending monitoring.
• Oversee the delivery of the front of house service and standards of the IOP staff office through supplier relationship management, maintaining stock levels, and effective logistics tracking.
• Ensure compliance and health and safety regulations, safeguarding requirements, security, alcohol licence requirements and any other relevant IOP policies.

Projects you may work on include:

• Being part of the organisation committees for all IOP events working closely with the departments involved.
• Review of our building revenue and how we can maximise this without conflicting with IOP operations.
• Space management and storage both onsite and externally.

Who will I work with?

You’ll work closely with a range of colleagues and stakeholders, including:

• Membership, Conferences, Science & Business Insights, Compliance, and CEO office IOP teams.
• Members and external partners who rent meeting room space or use our member facilities.
• Our tenants and serviced office companies.

Ideally, we hope you’ll apply if you bring:

Essential:

• Significant experience with organising events including using room booking systems, catering provisions and AV operational knowledge.
• Experience of line management and supplier management. 
• Experience with budget management including invoices processing and raising.
• Experience of working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, ensuring expectation are met and communication is regular and clear.
• An IOSH Managing Safely certification or similar is essential.
• Be first aid and emergency marshal qualified is essential.

Nice to have:

• Working for charities to understand budget restrictions and be creative with solutions.
• Working within the rented meeting room space industry and with knowledge of marketing or price pitching.
• Hold an alcohol licence (please note they must be willing to hold one).

What the job involves

As part of our Customer Engagement and Experience team, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional supporter experience, from ordering shop items and receiving fulfilment materials to ensuring Gift Aid contributions are processed accurately and securely.

This job share role combines operational ownership, relationship management and compliance oversight. You’ll be trusted to run essential day-to-day activity and improve the systems that sit behind them.

You’ll build and manage strong relationships with fulfilment suppliers, holding them accountable to KPIs and ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll also manage the day-to-day running of our online shop, including product development, stock forecasting, supplier coordination and performance monitoring.

You’ll keep fulfilment operations running efficiently by identifying improvements, resolving bottlenecks and making sure teams across the charity have what they need. Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of Gift Aid administration, ensuring claims are accurate, compliant with HMRC requirements and supported by clear audit trails.

By monitoring Gift Aid performance, you’ll analyse trends and recommend improvements, keeping internal teams informed and skilled in best practice. You’ll also support Fundraising teams with compliance checks, offering guidance and helping to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.

In addition, you’ll oversee monthly stock reconciliations and financial reporting for shop activity, ensuring accuracy and supporting informed decision-making. You’ll work closely with colleagues across digital, operations, marketing and customer experience to deliver a seamless, joined-up supporter journey.

This is a varied and meaningful role where your work directly improves how supporters experience Prostate Cancer UK.

Please note, internally this role is known as Gift Aid, Compliance and Fulfilment Manager.

What we want from you

We’re looking for someone who enjoys improving processes, building strong relationships and getting things right first time. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re naturally organised, able to balance attention to detail with multiple moving parts and motivated by delivering an excellent supporter experience.

You’ll be solutions-focused and confident managing priorities, working with data to inform decisions and collaborating across teams to make things happen. You’ll build strong relationships with both suppliers and internal teams and feel confident holding partners to account when needed. You’ll be process-driven, always looking for simpler, smarter ways of working, and comfortable managing complex operational activity while keeping everything running smoothly. Strong attention to detail is essential, particularly when working at pace or with large volumes of data and multiple suppliers.

You’ll bring experience of forecasting, stock management and using insight to guide decisions, along with the ability to support, coach or motivate others, whether formally or informally.

You’ll need excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with your job share partner, keeping each other aligned on tasks, responsibilities and priorities, and ensuring a seamless handover when needed.

How and where we work

Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.

Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.
