Taking the Pain Out of Your Job Search

2 minute read

With so many people re-evaluating priorities during the pandemic, we know lots of you might be thinking about changing jobs at the moment—or possibly even changing career. But we also know that there’s still a lot going on in the world, and many demands on your time. So here at CharityJob, we’ve been working to make the job search and application process as quick and painless for you as possible.

We’ve made searching easier

We’ve improved our search bar and made it more responsive, so you can browse new roles right away and get to the good stuff faster!

Want to be the first to know when your dream job is posted? Now you can set up job alerts directly from the search page and get tailored roles delivered straight to your inbox. Easily upload your CV so you’re ready to strike when you spot an exciting opportunity. Or why not use our CV checker to find the financial value of your skills in the charity sector?

We’ve made applying quicker

We know applications aren’t fun, whatever form they take, so we’ve streamlined the process. Charities now have the option to select our Quick Apply method. This allows applicants to quickly upload a CV and cover letter or application form and apply all on one screen. So everything you need is all in one place—easy!

We’re making the recruitment process fairer

We’re committed to doing everything we can to make the charity sector a fairer place. Last year we decided only to receive job ads with the salary fully disclosed*. Now we’ve given everyone advertising with us access to our FREE anonymous recruitment tool. This removes all names and identifying information from applications, so you can be judged fairly, without bias, on your ability to do the job and nothing more.

This organisation supports anonymous recruitment. That means hiding your personal identifying information, reducing bias from the hiring process.

If you see the above text on an advert, you know that the recruiter has signed up to anonymous recruitment—and that they also want to make the sector a fairer place.

640 charities have posted more than 1,000 jobs using anonymous recruitment.

So, what are you waiting for? There’s a world of new opportunities out there just waiting for you. Search for a new job now!

*Note that this only applies to UK-based roles.
